"Super Powerful Idea Management SaaS Product"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Ideanote is an immensely and intuitive SaaS app that is extremely useful in providing a highly collaborative environment to engage people to submit ideas.

The platform is easy to use and provides a lot of customisations and also integrations with more to come.

There are significant positive benefits in giving employees an opportunity to provide ideas, harnessing thought and creativity, then collectively turning an idea into an innovative service or product or whatever he idea may be. You are only limited by your imagination. It is a win-win product overall as employees feel more engaged and feel positive for providing a contribution to the business, sometimes beyond their role.

Ideanote will take businesses who embrace this product and the journeys it encourages, to the next level and give the business a competitive advantage over other businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

It has some nice integrations but hoping that there are more on their road map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Elegant idea management software with an amazing UX/UI"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Ideanote can help you organize the ideas, suggestions, opinions, feedback not only from your clients, but also from your internal team. The feature that I love the most is the ability to share missions with an external crowd (i.e. clients) that does not need to be members of Ideanote. Also, the widget is pretty useful to embedded into your site and get suggestions directly from your visitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

Ideanote is a pretty mature tool and you will find what you could expect from an Innovation Ideas Manager Platform. The only thing, I would love to have in the future, would be a Poll functionality, but right now as it is, it's awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Why as a Research Consultant I am using and would recommend Ideanote."
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

I have been using Ideanote to take my Qualitative Research to a the next level as it allows team ideas, opinions and contributions to be organized, classified, rated, and ranked to easily determine and extract baselines, trends and impact issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

I would like to be able to expand the research beyond team members and registered guests. I need Ideanote to allow me to combine ideas from team members, registered guests, and also anonymous guests so that I can also obtain the opinions and contributions of those that will not consider registering. The importance of research is the opinion, not the name or identification of the person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Take Note "IdeaNote" Really inspires exploration and collaboration of innovative ideas"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Based on my personal experience on the platform, what I like is...

(1) The simplicity of idea-innovation management and it's fully functional

(2) Capacity to scale for unlimited members

(3) Note-taking and discussion from ANYONE anywhere

(4) Separation of communication for any combination of member participants who want to share and collaborate on ideas (i.e public or private, internal or external, local or Global etc)

(5) Their Support and fix ethic is courteous, enthusiastic, helpful and useful

(6) Well-thought-out tier for analytics and reporting based on your needs

(6) Really flexible to new ideas to improve the platform

(7) Transparent and cost-effective.

I could go on, but you really need to try it, to believe the value of this product. Especially in a time where people everywhere, need to share, collaborate and innovate more than ever before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

(a) One thing that I am not so cool on is the storage space limit of 50GB. That said they provide ways to avoid hitting that limit, by allowing you to link and embed external sources like documents and video to areas on the system that matter most.

(b) The other is control over the types of notifications I can receive. Although it might not be ideal, it's also not a deal-breaking real issue, it's more of a nicety.

The introduction of new features and frequent updates and existing feature reviews, outway, any need for concern and I believe if "notification options" were a major want/need, the founders would review and adapt accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Idea Curation Made Easy!"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Look, as an author, ideas are everything. Ideanote makes it simple (and fun) for my beta readers to help me brainstorm new details that make the worlds I'm creating come alive. They can vote on ideas, and I can bump the best ones into hall of fame and give credit to my fans.

On top of that, I like that Ideanote takes the competitveness out of the joy of new ideas. If something works, it gets highly rated. if it doesn't, it doesn't. That's the basic part, but the special thing is what comes next. A 'bad' idea can still inspire a good one, and by encouraging participation and internal discussion, Ideanote does an excellent job of giving life to the muse that lives in all of us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

The dashboard/UI takes a little while to work out, at least for me. It seems like every time I go in there I have to relearn how to add a Mission, which probably means that it could stand to be more intuitive...

Short of that, once I get back into the swing of things I find that the rest of the user experience works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best System to Collect Ideas for Growth and Agile Marketers"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

I loved the way the ideas are structure like challenges. For me and my team that was just perfect to focus on my business needs. We work with Agile Marketing and myself as Marketing Owner need a tool to help me collect ideas from my team. That is great we can do it inside other tools, but the way IdeaNote makes our life easier is something really awesome. Right now we are probably in a direction to collect more ideas than ever. That will transform our product and our company. For sure IdeaNote is helping us to be easier for us to achieve our mission and goals. Thanks Idea Note team to make such awesome product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

Actually there is not much. Maybe a way to filter and organize ides based in score. That would be great for me and would help me a lot. Maybe the UX could be a little better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great way of getting people involved!"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Ideanote is extremely easy to use, which means nobody needs to be a genius to add ideas. This means you don't risk losing good ideas from team members that aren't as tech savvy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

There was only one thing that I disliked, which was a small data visibility issue early on. When I brought this up to Ideanote, they added a feature to better hide account data from guests using only a guest URL. This team is hyper-responsive and they do not want to let any group of users down, so as long as there is some support for a feature request, you can bet they will give it serious consideration. "Incredible piece of software for managing ideas and engage with your community"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

The platform is amazing and the use cases are endless! My team and I are so excited that we found something like this! Great software for managing ideas and to give your audience voice.

We're currently use it to develop a platform where the community we work with can submit ideas to let us know what they're looking for our next event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

I'm missing a mobile app that could help with the ideas submissions and the management. Not essential but very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We can use this in so many ways"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Great platform to collect our new ideas

Very clean, so elegant of a solution in its simplicity to use and yet truly powerful in its function.

UX/UI is just amazing and the roadmap looks very promising.

Collect ideas, comment on ideas, rate the ideas and then assign the ideas.

The perfect solution for brainstorming all kinds of ideas and feedback.

My native language (german) is already integrated into the platform.

We are in the online educating business and have a substantial group on facebook, that we would like to integrate more in our plans and goals ahead. This tool gives us a fantastic opportinity to get our group involved. I might even stack more when playing with the tool an trying things out today. So far I really like the level of customization! CNAME, whitelabel, everything you can dream of! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

I would love a chat option to discuss live with other members about ideas.

The cname setup seems a bit clunky and could need a bit of updates to make the process more streamlined.

I really like the concept of collecting ideas, but it would be great if there was an option to transition it to a task to make it really work.

I would like to see some kind of integrations with other tools like pabbly connect or marketing services like mailerlite.

It would be a benefit to have some kind of labeling system to categorize ideas, such as high, med, low or something similar. Maybe even let the users define it themselves.

Please allow enabling anonymous feedback on a mission level, to reduce friction in providing feedback if the topic is sensitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jakob Storjohann of Ideanote

Hi Ulf - love the in-depth review. Great to read all the thoughts you have on the idea collection process.

Just wanted to check back in with you here and let you know that two points you raised are now possible with Ideanote. You can integrate with Mailerlite via our Zapier integration and you can let people self-categorize ideas with custom checklists and radio button fields.

Keep making ideas matter,

Jakob

"Centralised Idea Management"
4/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Fresh unique approach in collecting idea's - I've used a number of 'task' driven project management solutions and this product is a refreshing change from the traditional project / task method. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

It's very good at it's direct purpose - collecting idea's, but not so good at presenting the idea's into the next stage - it does tackle this (Using phases) but find this part of the interface clunky and could be improved upon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
