"If you're scaling your business, you need ideanote.io"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

I like the ease of use, UX and suggestions as you go along. I felt from the word go that my hand was being held in what is a new area for me. Usually, all the ideas are in my head, and there's lots of them, plus I've had an ad hoc approach to innovation. I'm feeling happier that I will be able to make greater strides in the innovation we want to drive through as a business by using the platform. Trello and Asana have proven useful in the past to set out tasks however they don't really guide in the same way as ideanote does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

The downsides are probably just the time it will take to become disciplined in using the platform, although I would still rather have the platform taking care and guiding me along our path of innovation than rely on keeping it together in my head or resorting to a Google Docs or Google Sheets! "A well rounded tool that promotes best practices for evaluating and gathering ideas"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

The best part of Ideanote is its simplicity.

The onboarding is excellent and the interface is straightforward to start compiling ideas. I was amazed at the speed at which I was able to get my first idea set up and send it across for user feedback. I like the way they have organized the workflow as it provides flexibility in conforming to the way you work making it easy to get started with the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

I think one place where Ideanote can help accelerate ideas further is by providing templates of ideas that have already been shown to be successful. This would help new users quickly formulate new ideas! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great solution for open innovation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

Ideanote is a great tool for idea collaboration and open innovation.

It is a very easy-to-use platform for any user, and it is very straightforward to set-up and customize.

It fosters crowdsourcing to tap into the collective intelligence of your organization and generate inventive ideas.

Therefore, it is an engaging tool that helps create a continuous innovation culture that drives business-wide improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

I do not like anything but, in the future, it would be great that Ideanote includes some gamification techniques to make it even more engaging. Moreover, I think Ideanote should have a special pricing scheme for small companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice idea management tool with feedback from others!"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

I always have so many ideas but they mostly get lost in my mac notes. So this is exactly what I was looking for ..24/7 searchable ideas/feedback and more. This is one of those tools that you will want to use for better feedback and suggestions from others. This is also very handy for my courses because I can get feedback from my students directly on any page. Love the embed option!! Super cool!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

I can understand users have to sign up to create ideas but to leave feedback it's just unnecessary step. It'll be nice if it was one less step for users to just leave feedback on the ideas. Mobile app will be great for a tool like this. Other than this not much to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ideanote solves our idea innovation problem!"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

We love the team behind ideanote and the problem they're solving. We're excited about the built-in features to collaborate and crowdsource the best ideas for our company. We've used it in our internal weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions. We've also successfully used to it to collaborate with clients at the outset of their design projects - much better workflow than what we're used to! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

Nothing to dislike, but things I'd like to see improved: *No requirement for guests to sign up before contributing *More experiment features *More flexibility in the types of kanban sections we can add --- Thanks for being such a responsive team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Way to Collect and Organize My Ideas and Ideas of Others I Value"
5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

I use ideanote both on my laptop and my phone. I am in real estate and always trying to come up with ideas that will accurately communicate the benefits I am able to offer based on the tools my Company offers and the experience I have. I am starting to grow a team and need a way to share ideas between team members. As I started to learn how to use ideanote I also found out that I can use this tool on my websites to get user feedback and improve customer service. I am excited about the many ways I can use this tool. Given the great experience I have had thus far, I look forward to going more in depth with the application of ideanote including the idea analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

Given that I purchased this application as a way to save, collaborate, and analyze ideas, nothing to dislike at this point. I access ideanote on my phone via web which is fine, but maybe a phone app would be a good future addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for both overview & insight"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

The overall concept is great: With teams, missions, ideas, and comments, all levels from the strategic view to granular detail are covered. And the "idea funnel" metaphor is very well implemented: Ideas can be rated in customisable ways to identify what's most worth pursuing and track what actually gets done. The interface is slick, self-explanatory and easily adaptable to your own brand. And it certainly helps to have motivational pictures on team missions with the integrated Unsplash image search. Overall: Great concept, very well implemented! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

Only minor UX inconsistencies that will surely be streamlined as the software evolves. E.g., I'd love to have a collapse/expand option for a one page view of teams, missions, and ideas. Luckily, there's a chatbot for such feature requests that of course sends you to ideanote, so the developers are actually using their own tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"IdeaNote - perfect for a private studio piano teacher!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ideanote?

I work as a private piano teacher. I try hard to constantly improve my services, to keep the clients I have, and to be first choice for new students.

I like the fact that Ideanote allows me to involve my students in coming up with new ideas, and improving features and services that I already provide.

It's also important to have a professional appearance. Many of the parents (and indeed adult students I teach) are professionals themselves. Any system that I use need to have a clean, professional, and easy to use layout - Ideanote excels in all these areas. It's important to me that from the first time you find me via a web search, that I look professional and engaged, and Ideanote will help with that more and more as I find new uses for it.

This is a chaotic time for the self-employed teacher - COVID-19 means that many of the practices that have been used in the past need to change, and involving parents and students in problem solving, and in seeing how I take their concerns seriously, will make them feel safer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideanote?

There aren't many negatives. I'm not a big enough user to use all the features Ideanote has.

I would really like a Dark mode - I'm often recording music in a dark studio, and the glaring white is a bit harsh in this situation.

And, a mobile app would be the icing on top to allow me to start ideas the instant I think about them.

Finally, someway to integrate with RocketBook - I carry a RocketBook with me everywhere, it would be great to be able to import things straight into Ideanote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
