## Ideanote Reviews
 ### 1. Impress the customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote feels very professional and the user interface is fantastic. Having a dedicated tool to collect and manage ideas takes idea management to the next level. Streamlining your workflow from idea to implementation is amazing but what is even better is the impression it creates. For customers and co-workers alike the message is clear - you value their opinion. It makes them more inclined to share feedback because they believe it will make a real difference since you put time and money into properly managing their ideas.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Not really disliking anything but rather something I would love to see in the future is more integrations. Ideanote extracts the innovation and brainstorming part out of your project management system but does not replace it. Ideanote focuses on what it does best, managing ideas, and that is a good thing but once you have collected, organized, and prioritized the ideas it is time to move that task into a project management system task by task. Introducing Zapier integration or even better a real open API solution will solve that problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

My overall impression is great. Everything seems well organized and thought through. The initial challenge is that it is very different from just adding tasks to the backlog as most developers are used to. It takes time to get used to it. Don't move everything at once or you may risk giving up. Define a few areas you want to improve, create missions to collect those ideas, and go from there. Everything is straightforward and easy to learn once you get used to it. Keeping ideas separate from tasks helps me focus and be more productive.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For developers, it is common to get a lot of ideas when working but once you completed your tasks and try to think of new ideas nothing comes up. It is really easy to lose focus because you start thinking of and working with all the different things that come up. The alternative would be to remain focused on the task at hand and leave those ideas for later. Many ideas get lost this way. Ideanote makes it easy to just write down all your ideas and quickly get back to work. It helps you stay focused but also makes sure you always have something interesting to focus on later. Separating ideas to a proper platform also means a cleaner project management system resulting in higher productivity overall. Instead of managing a mountain of tasks and ideas in your project management system, you can focus on what is important right now which makes everything less overwhelming. Being able to see all ideas in an organized dashboard and prioritize them also helps motivation. Everything feels better when knowing exactly what is important right now, what we would like to do in the short term, and what we have planned for the long term. For me, having a clear path forward makes the projects more fun and enjoyable to work with.

**Official Response from Jakob Storjohann:**

> Hi Victor - love your detailed review and the way you use it with clients.

Just wanted to let you know that we now offer both Zapier and Open API integrations options. Just hit us up in the helpchat if you want to know more or need help setting it up. We agree it can be useful to dynamically export ideas to your project or task management system once you found the right idea.

All the best and keep making ideas matter,
Jakob

 ### 2. Great potential and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Easy to use, intuitive platform. Very easy to onboard new users. Great that you can customize the funnel/flow per Mission, which gives it a lot of use cases and possibilities. The analytics look very powerful and will be key to understand the engagement across our community. We haven't got enough data yet to see its full potential but we're very excited about seeing this data rolling in.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Only 1 type of view for ideas (idea cards) - when you start receiving a lot of ideas it can easily become crowded and not as easy to have an overview. The filters to sort the ideas by stage in the funnel are a bit hidden and not so obvious. Would be good to have that more visible, especially for new users.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Open innovation and collaboration across our global community. Not only will it engage people with the company brand and create new ideas, but it will foster new relationships and create closer relationships between community members who normally never get to collaborate because of different functions, geographies, backgrounds, etc.

 ### 3. very useful for student projects/fast and kind support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthias R. | Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is not only suitable for finding ideas together, but also for creating and distributing pre-structured homework for students. The tasks solved by the students can then be commented on by me as a teacher, but also by other students. In addition, evaluation criteria can be created to enable quantitative feedback. All in all, this is a very convenient way to provide joint feedback. Based on this feedback, homework can be improved and it is possible to assign solutions in Ideanote to different phases. For example, the first suggested solution for a homework is in phase 1 by default, but if students improve their solution, it can be moved to the next phase. If the solution is finally perfect, it is moved to the final phase. You can define which and how many phases there are. The handling of Ideanote is self-explanatory. The few questions I had were answered quickly and competently by the friendly support team. In addition, a feature I requested was integrated into the system within a few weeks.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

So far, there's nothing that bothers me about the platform.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment I use Ideanote to distribute homework to students, for whose solving there should be a collective feedback. This is not the original purpose of Ideanote, but the platform is very well suited for this. Until now, feedback has been given in classroom sessions. Compared to this, using Ideanote is even advantageous because the feedback is automatically documented and can be additionally pre-structured using certain criteria.

 ### 4. Awesome Idea generation and collaboration tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reggie V. | Chief Digital Marketing Officer (Fractional CMO), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Easy to use. Fantastic idea generation and collaboration platform. Awesome way to organize ideas. I love the part where we could see people engaging on ideas. Helps us prioritize the ones with impact and reward our innovators.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Not much that I could think of. Perhaps having more workspaces than folders.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Great tool!
Easy to use. Fantastic idea collaboration platform. I love the part where we could see people engaging on ideas. Helps us prioritize the ones with impact and reward our innovators.
An idea is only as good as its execution.
And IdeaNote allows ideas to transition to execution faster than any tool out there.

Verdict: Highly recommended! :)

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time looking for ideas - Organizing them. And we could always go back to them. We could have people vote and collaborate anytime, anywhere. Perfect for collecting ideas and getting feedback.
Saves so much time, and allowed us to generate more ideas and follow through.

 ### 5. Loving it's simplicity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffery S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote makes it easy for me to capture all my ideas the instance I have floating in my head. And I can be anywhere as long as I have a browser to do so. (Even installed it as a browser shortcut on my home screen). The fact that it's now even possible to invite my people with a link to hop in and contribute ideas without having to install or pay for additional copies makes it sweet.

I like the user interface. It's really easy to navigate around and many of the options are pretty self-explanatory. There's really not much of a learning curve for someone to kickstart using the app and start populating ideas that will evolve over time.

So far, it was quite a breeze to onboard my team to collaborate on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I would rather classify this as a "nice-to-have" feature rather than a dislike.

Sometimes an idea can pop up when it's not convenient for us to type. For me, it's when I'm jogging. Epiphanies happen regularly when I'm alone in my zone jogging. The current workaround requires me to record audio on a phone recorder, then attach it later on to an idea as a post attachment.

It would be a dream come true if one day, we could simply tap a button and have an audio version of the idea recorded before it's gone with the wind.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Definitely one of the best investment for anyone who needs to constantly capture new ideas and nurture it before its executed. Give it a try

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking an idea from inception to maturity and launch has been a challenging process previously. With Ideanote, I can speed up the process by having everyone contribute from one single platform.

 ### 6. The perfect organizational hub for great ideas from your entire team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Really clean and simple interface and it take very little time to get set up and start adding all the ideas you've already had written on a notepad somewhere, on a sticky note or a Google doc. Keeping every idea that presents a good possibility of being implemented in one place makes so much sense and is way more efficient. Additionally, Ideanote gives everyone a place to contribute and feel more involved in the ideation process.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

There's nothing I've found that I really dislike after spending time with Ideanote, but I would like to be able to jump between workspaces much more easily. You login by using your workspace URL rather than by email, so it's difficult to switch between spaces if you share the same email between them.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Think about how you currently keep track of ideas or who is involved in that process. If you feel like you don't have a solid process for ideation already in place or want to get more people involved in contributing great ideas, Ideanote might be exactly what you need.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now, I will get more team members involved in the ideation process and create more transparency around them. This will also allow team members to take more ownership over ideas as they move from early brainstorming and closer to implementation. Simply, this a centralized hub for ideas and keeps them from getting lost in all of the other tools that businesses rely on for other processes.

 ### 7. Ideanote is a great idea!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srikanth "Sri" N. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Simple to setup, easy to use and a clean UI. Ideanote doesn't get in my way and I look forward to using it a lot more in my workflow, as much as what my users/clients think of it. As a service based business, it is vital to know what your users/clients want and any tool that will help me achieve this, is a winner in my book!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I don't think there's anything to dislike at this stage. It would be great if the platform offers a way for users to upvote or endorse ideas shared by other users - at this time, I don't think this is possible/available.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you want a simple method to gather as well as validate ideas, I believe that Ideanote is a good tool for this. Often, I have ideas that pop into my head and I note it down in OneNote and add a To Do item thinking "I will get back to it" but reality is that I rarely am able to do anything further. With Ideanote, I can now take it a few steps further and test out the idea(s) with clients and potential users and actually do something about my idea(s).

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote allows me to validate ideas that I have, as well as feed into the ideas I am floating - I am certain that it will help me create better services, as well fine tune what I already offer.

 ### 8. So many lost ideas before Ideanote! No more writing ideas on post-its and never finding them again.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Gone are the days of writing ideas on post-its and then spending hours trying to find those ideas again. Ideanote made it really easy for me and my team to generate, implement and measure ideas.

Crowdsourcing ideas is a smart way to help encourage constant innovation.

What I like the most is the simplicity & ease of use.
Fit perfectly in my process of creating ideas, prioritizing and experimenting.
I can measure everything from the amount of ideas to the impact of their implementation.

Most important - Excellent customer support!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Limited folders
Make it easier for guests to submit ideas without becoming members

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting, sharing, collaborating and putting ideas into action

 ### 9. Powerful idea collaboration with your team, clients, and guests

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin W. | Independent Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Unique product that has great potential in unlocking innovation while managing ideas in a data-driven and systematic approach.

The interface is clean, nicely designed, and able to be customized, making it easy to use.

The reporting features are also quite unique and great for visualization.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Not as flexible in the sense that an idea follows a certain process/workflow but once you learn how it is intended to be used, it is not a big deal - although onboarding others will take some effort.

Does not seem to integrate with other applications as far as I know, hopefully they will release webhooks and/or API in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Start with the free trial and see whether it would provide value to your business.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing ideas, identifying the ones with the most value, and making them a reality.

Being able to invite a public community to vote on different ideas and segment them by country.

Capture ideas that can be matured over time, essentially developing and refining ideas.

 ### 10. Beautifully executed app for ideas -- one to keep in my Mac dock!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gretchen O. | Chief Design Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I love that I can share ideas and be able to rate them based on merit. The templates make this all possible. I used to have ideas everywhere. Now I can finally have them all in one place in IdeaNote so I can assess them and figure out what to do next. It's helps keep the Someday/Maybe in my GTD system less cluttered.

There's heaps to love — customisable criteria, idea templates, and easeful UI/UX, to name a few of my favourites.

I can't think of a better platform for collecting, collaborating and organising ideas.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

One thing on my wishlist is the ability to hide team folders from public view, so I can have one board with customers. Right now they can see all the

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you collaborate ideas with your team, or simply have a ton of ideas, IdeaNote helps you organise them all.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've tried so many PM and productivity tools...I always run into this one problem: ideas cluttering my workspace. That's where IdeaNote comes in. It's a place to file away all my Someday/Maybe thoughts or ideas that aren't quite there yet..

 ### 11. One of a kind tool for Idea Generation & Managment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Very easy to get started. Create Mission, Share mission with audience, Collect ideas.. simple as that!
Managing ideas using the Kanban style format is one of my favorite features.
Overall the UI is easy to navigate and looks clean.
The development team is very open to feature requests! I love that.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Missing a few features I would love to see. I am sure the team will get it all implemented as per their product roadmap. There is nothing in the current feature set that I am not a fan of. Everything is there for a reason and it does it work beautifully.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

You may feel investing in an Idea Management tool is not worth the money. I did so for a long time. But when I hired some fresh minds in my team, I felt its time to harvest ideas and implement them. Depending on your niche, collecting ideas - internally or externally may be very important than you think.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to not have an Idea Management tool and ideas were maintained in an Excel sheet and it was rarely tracked due to the non collaborative way of maintaining this data. We have a lot of young and dynamic people in the team and I felt that not harvesting ideas is a sin! When I came across Ideanote, it ticked all the checkboxes for the solution I was looking for and we immediately took the leap and never looked back. The onboarding was quick and smooth. We are happy with the feature set and we are in for the long term with Ideanote.

 ### 12. IdeaNote - Evolve with your team!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthias H. | Webdesigner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The ability to share missions with the public and gather a bunch of feadback this way! Workflow is also top! We also like the permission management. We're always in charge of who can view or edit stuff.

This tool helped a lot of finding many good/profitable ideas together as a team 👍🏻.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The tool needs a Missionchat! We need to have a space to simply talk/chat. This will spark new ideas for the board. Also Mindmaps are missing. Mindmaps are very helpfull as part of the brainstorm phase. They help to visualize things and leads to better ideas.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Great tool for finding new ideas as a team. But you should consider to have a mindmap and additional communication tool.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great team collaboration on ideas. And because the operating team is involved, the implementation of the ideas is very smooth and friction less.

 ### 13. Love Ideanote for storing, growing and nurturing ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma B. | Marketing Systems Provider, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is sooo easy to use which means that it gets used. It helps team members to easily share ideas or improvements to ideas, and for brainstorming to be done much quicker, or at any time of the day or night (ideas don't come within office hours or at team meetings only).

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

There is nothing really to dislike. The interface is super intuitive and so frictionless. Love it!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote solves the problem of storing ideas quickly and getting feedback, suggestions, improvements from a remote team without the need for everyone to be sitting in a Zoom meeting or being under pressure to say something constructive there and then. It lets ideas be mulled over and contributed to once you've thought them through. It serves as a depository where ideas go to grow and become great and profitable things rather than a place to go dusty and forgotten.

 ### 14. Team involved in ideas & review later

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ability to have a dedicated place for ideas that isn't action. I have just been using this myself for now - haven't opened up to the team yet (I make them learn a lot of other software - but think I want to shortly so that they can add their own ideas in somewhere other than slack where they can get lost.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Just feels like it is collections of word ideas - the pictures are cool to make it more fun, but Trello is such a versatile tool it kindof ruins us for other software. So if you had the ability to add attachments and link to other ideas that would make ideanote 10/10

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awesome to add ideas and have a separate platform just for that - and be able to sort them into categories and be able to see what you have achieved a month later.

 ### 15. Great way to source content ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy B. | Digital Image Tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Website Widget for sourcing public ideas. Rating system.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

No way to add custom stages. We wish there were ways to add our own stage columns to keep better track of idea phases.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Highly recommended if you are looking for a way to crowdsource ideas from your customers and inside your company. You never know who has a great idea. Ideanote allows you to be open to listening for that next great idea where ever it may come from.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to garner content ideas and feedback from our users and employees. Ideanote allows us to solve a unique challenge by gathering and rating public ideas. Now we can take those ideas from our users and vote which ideas make it to the publishing stage. I have not found anything else out their quite like it.

 ### 16. Simple and quick way to organise and evolve ideas

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wynne P. | Director | Marketing Consultancy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I really like the simplicity of the tool and being able to quickly capture ideas.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

At first, the use-case of this tool is not immediately obvious. But once you start using it, you start to see the power of ideation.

When you combine ideation with scientific testing, that's the sweet spot for innovation... breakthrough. Ideanote assists with the first part quite nicely.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Ideation and evolution of ideas is a critical part of any growth-focused individual or organization.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an entrepreneur & marketer who's constantly looking for opportunities to expand or investigating problems, I need to be able to jot down my ideas quickly. Ideanote is ideal for this purpose.

Then, you can collaborate with team members, look for ways to evolve the idea, or to poke holes in it.

 ### 17. Great for collecting Ideas from Masses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex Wong C. | Coach & Trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The option to allow guest to submit ideas. This allows me to provide the link via my website and collect suggestions from my members.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It can be a little slow in loading at times, but it will probably be fixed in due time.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

A Great platform for collation and putting a structured process flow for managing ideas. It has some features for commenting and rating of ideas as well which could come in very useful. For more in-depth refinement such as using of 6-Sigma, Design Thinking processes, etc, Ideanote itself does not support these processes, and you may need additional tools. Beyond that, IdeaNote is easy to use and implement.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using IdeaNote to collect Topic ideas for my meetup sessions. It has helped to increase the engagement of the members by allowing members to have a say in our topics for discussion.

 ### 18. Ideanote - a ideal product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hoang P. | Director, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I can easily collect ideas and comments from staff, users, clients for my projects and products. Ideanote makes it so easy by step-by-step guide: create a mission, add users, ask questions, collect feedbacks. The templates / suggestions are very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The storage limit may become an issue later - I would love to have more storage

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

This is quite an unique software if you are to look for an easy, convenient tool for collecting feedbacks, ideas, innovations. It contains everything you need, and organized very neatly to help you collect the information and feedbacks you need

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was difficult to get true feedbacks - either because the tools I used were not convenient enough, or because the persons who were asked do not bother to answer. With Ideanote things become quite easy now.

 ### 19. Exceptionally well made and simple system for idea collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Creative Coach | Christian Creative Academy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I love the simplicity and clarity of ideanote, and that it is designed to do exactly what is says well. There is just there is just the right amount of customizability to keep it uncomplicated, yet powerful

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I would like the ability for a public idea wall (mission) to have the option for guests to rate or leave ideas without needing to register -just simple, slick seamless streamlined idea collection without any speedbump

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Ideanote is a streamlined way to collect and collaborate on ideas and roadmaps that removes roadblocks and complexity from the process

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run an online school and Im using idea note to lay out our proposed courses and courses under construction so people can vote on them and leave their own ideas/requests for content they would like to see developed

 ### 20. Idea Note is Just What We Needed To Nurture Our Clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark S. | CEO Proven Marketing LLC, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I like that IdeaNote allows you to share Missions with Clients to Collaborate and brainstorm Together Our Best Ideas, and take those ideas from Idea to Action.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I would like to see the back button removed when sharing a mission so people who we share this cannot see other sensitive info. ( but I know they are working on this right now)

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you are looking to nuture your clients or simply get your team a super simple way to brain storm ideas and grab the good ones to implement by testing, tweaking and optimizing, then IdeaNote is for you, try it you'll be glad you did

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use evernote but evernote does not cut it for ideas in on page to see them all visually and connect them together, ideanote is really good at this

 ### 21. UI is clean, beautiful and well put together, functionality is on point and has room for improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The UI is very very put together, clean and straight forward. It gives a wonderful initial impression and makes team members and guests feel good about sharing. The uncluttered interface definitely helps as many people tend to have a short attention span and are very distracted these days.
In short, this is one of those things that you find hard to figure but end up relying on!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The ability to collect and IMPLEMENT ideas would make this platform perfect! Sometimes execution is also very very important.
Introducing automation such as Integrately and Pabbly Connect will make this a feedback and idea collection powerhouse!

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Please set up more integration, so much potential here. From idea to execution!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Idea collection from and feedback management.
It is slick, non-intimidating and user friendly

**Official Response from Jakob Storjohann:**

> Thank you so much for your review Richard. I love the go-getter spirit! Yes, ideas need to be implemented and integrations can help with that. So I wanted to get back to you and make sure you get the news that we've got an official Zapier integration now - you can get started right away https://help.ideanote.io/article/d2846kt371-how-to-set-up-zapier

 ### 22. Sleek, Intuitive Ideation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Flavius B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I like the intuitiveness of the platform. The roadmap also looks very good. The platform really does make ideation a lot easier simply because it is so intuitive and easy to use. It is also very customizable and you can make it fit your needs fairly easily. It really should suit any companies needs! Everything is in one place and it makes the ideation process simple and clear!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

No ability to have separate workspaces inside of the same account for those involved in multiple companies. However, I guess that is something that multiple accounts could fix... But there really aren't any major dislikes. The product is well thought out and it just looks beautiful.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering feedback, ideas and action points. Easy platform to integrate and segment ideas before investing effort into making them a reality.

 ### 23. This is the way we empower our team using Ideanote to brainstorm as a group.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Star R. | Freelance Career Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The ability to share and expand on our ideas in a powerful format creating a living breathing place to share and expand.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The only downside would be how addictive it becomes not sure we would even consider using anything else.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The back and forth emailing and having to do zooms for group efforts but still not have a place to collect and share information with our group.

 ### 24. Revolutionize your sticky note thoughts into a cloud platform for all

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I love how quick and easy it is to post a question and generate answers in our team. We are quite a small team so everyone is constantly throwing out ideas but we never had a way to store and build on them. We have slack, email and face-to-face but we didn't have a central repository to actually coalesce and improve our ideas. Ideanote lets us throw everything and the kitchen sink at a question, sift through what really adds value and then execute on the idea(s) that makes the most sense to solve the question.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Slight learning curve at the initial setup. If they showed a how-to-video at the start that would really add value to the initial setup features.
Having me click here and there while showing me things, doesn't explain in full detail what I'm doing.
I do wish there was an integration into slack since you can use it to sign in so we can have slack scrums to generate questions an ideas.
Overall however, the interface is seamless, it's easy to create ideas, missions and prompt questions from the team and the only nit-pick is the setup and the lack of direct integration. (Or maybe I just can't find the how-to on slack in the help center)

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to generate ideas for our start-up, fast track the great ones, pick apart the decent ones and remove the bad ones.
It's interface allows us all to collaborate while also keeping everything clutter free.
Focus on your ideas, carry them across the field, then hit a touch-down.
Or if it's not a winner of an idea, at least you got to bring it up!

 ### 25. This app is really growing on me!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Owner, CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I really enjoy being able to collaborate when ideas with my team. Before, we would interact on Slack and discuss our ideas. However, this often led to lost conversations and missed opportunities. Being able to view all of these ideas in one place has truly changed the way we innovate within our business.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

At the moment, there's nothing that I dislike. The app has definitely become a software that my team relies upon daily.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Do it! It really is gamechanging software for bright teams with bright ideas!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue we have solved is being able to streamline or idea communication without it being lost in all of our other conversations. We have been able to innovate some new ideas, flesh them out among the team, and plan out our implementation.

 ### 26. Ideanote is an ideal alternative to Hype Innovation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Based on my personal experience on both platforms, I really like the simplicity of Ideanote -- I can find all relevant menu points with ease. With the last Hype version deployed in my company, the menu to enter details isn't clearly recognizable as such because its hidden within a burger menu. So here Ideanote wins.

I also like the guided tour through the suite, as I didn't experience it within Hype (as far as I remember, it's been a while).

If I display both sites next to each other, Ideanote displays its price policy transparent while Hype requires you to ask for a quote, which I really like.

Additionally, Ideanote is a cloud based software as a service (SAAS) which facilitates the setup and usage without requiring any further expensive hardware. For small startups this might be a plus.

I got access to Ideanote to test and evaluate it for myself to make use of it in the future nearby. I currently have to use cases: I'll currently write a book -- here it would be useful to catch more ideas from the audience. In one case to get more ideas for my book I am currently writing and second on for my own brand I am currently working on.

Last but not least, I want to highlight that Ideanote's road map is publicly available under: http://ideanote.it/roadmap

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Unfortunately I cannot host Ideanote on my own hardware, but for me this is no showstopper because I currently don't have the urgency to run an innovation management platform in my own company network.

A SAAS solution is both: an advantage because you need no own hardware, and a disadvantage because you can't run Ideanote on your own hardware.

It's possible to create a CNAME record and link to Ideanote, but you need the support team and their magic, but this is just a current gap that is already addressed and should be fixed soon.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Give it a try :)

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have currently no benefits/ideas realized using Ideanote, but I hope to do it in the middle till long term. I expect Ideanote to handle the idea and innovation management for me in the same way, as Hype does.

 ### 27. Creativity Driver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony A. | Cryptocurrency Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote allows you to centralise and manage creativity, where before it was a wild struggle to develop something which was an idea to implementation. It is such an effective tool, it will change the way you do business going forwards.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

A mobile app would be welcome in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you want to save time and money developing and implementing an idea, then this SaaS is definitely something you should seriously consider.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am now in control of the whole creative process, and have advanced analytics to help back up the data. Submitters can respond at a time that suits them, once within the final deadline set. It saves a massive amount of time where before I would have to send chase emails.

 ### 28. A Generous Idea

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sushil K. | Founder & CEO , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Generating ideas needs generosity of thought, generosity of sharing and a generous platform to share and mull over ideas, together.

I have found the deal founders have a generous attitude too! Which likely is a reason for the generosity to spill over into the design, structure and how this platform works and is evolving.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I am looking forward to further enhancements in their UI. It can get more slick.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Genius is in simplifying, anything. Ideanote helps me most in simplifying an unending array of ideas possible!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting my clients involved in generating ideas for enhancing our services to them, together.

Their own discussion becomes a great way of identifying why so many ideas are undoable releasing us from the anxiety of saying no.

From those that remain which none or almost no one is able to reject we get a filtered, thrashed out list of new ideas to ponder over and the pondering is only to figure out how best to get these done!

 ### 29. I can’t wait to see the innovation that will come from this platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Let start with the user interface. It’s beautiful. The first impression is one that makes you say to yourself “This is how software should be!”.

The user experience is no different. They designed the platform to be flexible with your individual workflow while also giving you the structure needed for making innovative ideas come to life.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

They are a fairly new software so that has its drawbacks with not having a long track record. However, I believe the trajectory of this software is bright and for the long haul.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Read the free innovation e-book they provide. It’s short but fantastic!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborative creativity has always been a problem difficult to solve.

This software is an amazing solution for that problem.

 ### 30. Systematic Idea Generation Done Right

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ★ Kim F. H. | Sales Jumpstart & Turnaround Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Love that it replaces the almost useless "idea boxes" I've used in the past. It is a great platform to systematically get input into things that can help your grow your business...and get input into things that are slowing down your business. You can get this feedback from employees, contractors, prospects and customers.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I haven't found anything that I don't like yet. Reporting in any software can always be improved. Now it is good, and getting better all the time.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Give it a try!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a solution to get feedback from my customers, contractors, and prospects. Now I can get insights into ideas I have that I want to pitch...as well as opening the gates different parties to suggest things we could be doing better.

 ### 31. Great Way to Share and Capture Ideas

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marilyn D. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Very easy to use and great UI; I had my first mission written, published, and shared with the world in under 5 minutes!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

No downsides as yet. Ideanote is very easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

I tend to use online survey tools for collecting ideas however for the use case I have in mind, which is creating global discussion and dialogue, Ideanote is perfect. I haven't yet integrated it with other tools, however I can see possibilities.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This year I will run a series of Corporate Equality and Diversity Workshops and Sessions on race and racism where it will be important to collect ideas from both within and outside the organisation. Ideanote provides a perfect and creative way to do that.

 ### 32. A fantastic platform for bringing ideas to life.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander M. | Software Implementation Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Simple UI, amazing service, NLP provides a fantastic way of categorizing and grouping ideas from many different stakeholders.

Also the ability to have separate landing pages for individual ideas. These are able to be either public or private which I can then restrict further based on permissions. This opens up a lot of potential use cases.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Getting buy in from stakeholders. Not Ideanote's responsibility however they did provide me a guide on getting started and implementation which has been useful.

Being a fairly unique platform (Idea management is a new concept to me) this may prove slightly more difficult in engaging with my clients as they are likely to be used to other methods of collecting and implementing ideas. For some, they may not do it at all so may not immediately see the value in using an idea management platform such as ideanote.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

What do I recommend to others considering Ideanote? Simply, get it.

If you want your business to be more organized in it's process for collecting and implementing ideas, this is a must. It's simple to understand and will allow even the most technologically inept person a great way of getting their ideas out of their head and made into something real

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Idea management. My first goal with this is to provide my clients their own portal for brainstorming ideas among themselves. I'd like for this to be a value add in my existing offer as opposed to a standard Facebook Group which most businesses are doing.

Having an organized process for collecting, storing, indexing, and implementing ideas will make a noticeable impact on the innovation of my company, and hopefully that of my clients also. I believe this will be a simple approach in making businesses more connected with their clients which will lead to a more successful company overall.

 ### 33. Great Resource for Ideation and Virtual Group Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn C. P. | Training & Development Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is an easy to set up tool that allows total collaboration for team members.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It took me some time to figure out the intricacies of how to set my missions up but there are some great help supports available.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Definitely look at all the support material provided to make sure you can easily implement your tool right away and with ease of youth.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote allows my team to collaborate and brainstorm with others asynchronously. I have used it with a new team that was highly skeptical and now they are all about this new work style. I am amazed at the ease of acceptance and I am looking forward to pushing the envelope with this tool.

 ### 34. Worth a look!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheryl Lynn B. | Director, Mac Technical Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

It's really quick to get started. I'm still learning the ropes but I can see a lot of potential. I didn't expect a Guidebook to manage ideas which I did appreciate. The UX is clean and I like the analytics. I haven't implemented the widget yet but I'm looking forward to using it.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

While the UX is clean, they could add some features like 'list view.' I would like the ability for guests to submit anonymously or without a signing up (I think it's in the roadmap.)

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

It's worth a look!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting ideas and managing them. Seeing which ideas resonate with the crowd. This is important information as I don't want to be pushing ideas that will be difficult for the community to adopt.

 ### 35. Removes Friction From Ideation - Priceless!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhys L. | Founder + Visionary, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

A good blend between flexibility and ease. It gets out of it's way when it needs to but allows some customization.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It doesn't create ideas for us... But really, what it comes down to is like any other platform getting everyone up to speed and bought in on using it. No fault of the platform, just human nature.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Consider the potential cost of an important idea or solution that never sees the light of day...

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideation for general ideas or problem-solving for specific issues. Both internally as a team, and using external input from the public. Allowing a single source of ideation and problem-solving has been really great for our team.

 ### 36. Didn't think I needed it...now it's a must have tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ease of use. The UI is pretty intuitive. I appreciate the efforts to allow users to customize to our brand style to make it our own. The set up was super fast.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I did a couple of times make a mistake with a "mission" and I want to move it but it seems I have to delete it which I have way too many ideas. The Excel download seems to be on the fritz but it's not a deal breaker. I can see how having the ability to download thoughts into an excel sheet can be useful. Ummm, where's the app version for those of us on the go and would like to be able to capture our ideas on-the-go?

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oh my gosh. I have been over run with taking notes on 1) a notebook, 2) scratch paper, 3) sticky notes, 4) via email (which gets lost in the email abyss), 5) text messages to myself, and 6) my whiteboard. I appreciate that I can combine all six options into one cloud-based idea scrapbook that has expiration dates for ideas and it's shareable.

 ### 37. Simple, Effective (& Beautiful) Approach to Idea Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The visual details and clean layout combined with just the right amount of customization make this an excellent innovation platform. I love the embed option for collecting feedback directly from a website and the control you have over user permissions.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I would love an option for users to be able to contribute feedback without a login. Expecting everyone to sign up, especially from the embedded widget, is an unnecessary barrier to innovation. I have hope that they will build this functionality out in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Ideanote is best used with a team where its collaboration features can shine. Sure, you can use it just for yourself as a way to store ideas, but I'd argue there are better tools for that sort of thing. That said, any size team (two people and up) can benefit from this tool because of the way it organizes ideas around a mission and then facilitates moving a simple thought through the stages until you are left with just the best, most vetted ideas. Also, keep in mind that this is not what I'd consider a full replacement for project management software. It is idea management!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote is helping me capture ideas in an organized way, but more than that, it is helping facilitate the discussions that are necessary to move an initial thought to a great idea. It prods users to think about how an idea could be better and how it should be judged, but without editing the idea too soon in the brainstorming process.

 ### 38. A brilliant Idea: IdeaNote

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernard P. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

IdeaNote's absolute simplicity and ease of use are its strongest attributes.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

IdeaNote is a wonderful platform, I just wish more people were aware of it.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Actionable ideas from the whole team bottom up. Teammates love seeing their ideas come to fruition.
A great way to collect and organize all the wonderful ideas people come up with in meetings.

 ### 39. Ideanote is an innovation power station

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed N. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Don't be fooled by the name. Ideanote is not a note-taking app. Ideanote is an innovation power station, questions are posed to customers and employees to generate ideas that drive collaboration connected to a central hub and analytics that produces results.

You begin by posing questions to your customers and employees to capture their amazing willingness to share their ideas. Next, you work together to generate new ideas you would not have thought of on your own.

Organizations either innovate or die. Our ideas used to be recorded in numerous different formats, online and offline, in notebooks, diaries, apps, etc. Ideanote has centralized innovation in one place. A central hub to unify your ideas.

As they say in business management, “If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.” In the past, we had no way to measure the impact of our innovations. We had no method of recording why some ideas were shelved and some completed. Whereas, Ideanote helps us to track who an idea came from, the location, the medium it came through, and whether an idea is archived or implemented. Ideanote provides actionable reports to monitor the success of our ideas and then drive results.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Hopefully not having to wait too long for the mobile app.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

I highly recommend Ideanote.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ideanote as a central hub for ideas. It enables us to capture and manage ideas across different areas and without all of the chaos and hassle.

It really helps in collecting ideas for new projects, improvements to existing projects, and meeting notes. We're also planning to use it for crowd funding. Ideanote is a platform that we return to time and time again.

 ### 40. A very easy and innovative way to develop my ideas and get feedback to develop them further

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I really loved this app, I find it really fun and simple to use. It is well designed, very creative and user friendly. There is a lot of thought that has been put into creating features from simple idea management to more more complex tasks. it is quite easy to add new topics for discussion and also for guests to add comments. It has expanded how I can work with my ideas, and I have found that getting further input and comments from people I know and work with has allowed me to speed up my conceptualisation and planning. it is just what I needed in this time of restrictions to find new innovative ways to create products that add value.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

it takes some time to get used to, but very easy to use after that.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

I like this product as it has created new ways of thinking about my ideas that I did not know even existed before.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working in the health care sector. I am trying to find ways to engage more with my patients and meet their needs. I am experimenting with this platform to test ideas. So far, I have appreciated the quality of feedback .

 ### 41. It really works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed L. | Full Stack Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

It gave us a dedicated, centralised place to save ideas

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The invitation system was a bit confusing

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Definitely give it a try – it's a world apart from just using a list in a shared document!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small development team inside a bigger organisation, there are always more things to work on than we have time for. We have systems for logging and tracking progress on bugs or planned features, but without anything in place for soliciting, collecting and tracking ideas, we were missing out on creativity 'from the coal-face'.

In just under a month since we started using Ideanote, 5 out of 6 team members have engaged with it, generating over 30 ideas across 8 missions, on themes ranging from "Where do you see our product in 5 years" to workflow and security improvements. Now we have a specific place to save ideas as they occur, and we do so throughout the day with minimal disruption.

This has already led to a handful of ideas being picked up and incorporated into our roadmap for the second half of the year.

 ### 42. Clear and clean workflow for idea collecting and voting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Utz F. | Mitarbeiter, Machinery, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The nice and easy UI. If you share a link, the new user can put in his idea quickly and then he can setup an account in seconds. I like this way.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I think the settings should be organized differently. I find the current version with the buttons too cumbersome to use. But it is only a matter of getting used to it.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote allows me to get feedback from different colleagues quickly and easily, even though they are spread around the world. The open communication on different ideas makes it easy to find a common opinion at the end and to know why this idea has been accepted.

**Official Response from Jakob Storjohann:**

> Hi Utz, thank you for the review. Love that you get open idea sharing going with your colleagues. Just wanted to let you know that we are happy to announce that we have updated the settings layout - let us know if it works better for you now.

 ### 43. Many interesting use-cases validating business ideas and information in general

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANDERS N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I love the flexibility of the platform and how it enables you to group ideas seamlessly and move them through stages and how the requirements for each idea can be customized. This seems like a great tool to manage information in general. The fact that the stages can be renamed greatly adds to the use cases of this.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

A bit confused how to best get set up with workspaces etc. for my use case though, but it seems I can book a free call to get some guidance. But this tool has so much potential when it comes to running workshops and generally brainstorming and managing information.

Would be nice with some mindmap views as well.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I bought this to run mobile app startup strategy projects with customers, managing hypothesis to test, validation etc. As well as managing ideas for overcoming challenges, minimizing risks etc.

 ### 44. Tool with flexibility and uses beyond ideation

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I have used this as intended for brainstorming and ideation. But I found a way to use it to get votes on web design approaches - this works well to get quick feedback before spending time detailing out a shortlisted set.
In a couple of hours, I put up 4 design options with a brief description and invited a set of users to vote on them. We got their feedback in a couple of days and we had a clear winner identified and design implemented in less than a week.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

There isn't an option to get feedback from people without making them register - this should be an option for the admin to select if needed (in some regulated industries, I cannot ask people to register to vote, and this is a controlled audience so I am not concerned about misuse)

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Ideanote works as an ideation tool and for idea generation and validation, but there are other uses beyond that. I found it valuable for getting people to vote on design approaches.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said, I used this for ideation and for quick feedback on multiple design approaches. The latter worked well since it replaced the need to have a dedicated meetings and people could do it on their own time, and could do it on their phones or computers.

 ### 45. Great tool for the entrepreneur with too many ideas

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lars P. | Selfemployed, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

As a small entrepreneur, I often had the issue that my employees told me that I had a way too many ideas and visions and needed to learn to focus more. Then meet Ideanote, a for me perfect place to make notes about my ideas, so that my employees could better get an understanding and make comments. I love the fact that Ideanote is super simple and easy to use. Clean interface and very simple to get started. One of the functions that I really like is the way that it is easy to share ideas, share a link or invite a team member in seconds. I would also say that the software is very innovative since I have not really seen anything similar.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Not really a dislike, but Ideanote may not be for everyone. If you have a set product or service and work with a limited number of new ideas it's too much with another software to manage and in this case, it might be overkill with a dedicated solution like Ideanote.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Are you a company where ideas a important = get Ideanote. Is new ideas not a key thing, then you are probably covered by your current task management software and additional software may just bring more confusion.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote helped me get all of my ideas put into order and system. This will hopefully result in none of my great ideas being forgotten :)

Awesome platform to collect and prioritize ideas for you and your clients by truly inspiring and engaging them to continually share, collaborate, and grow missions that are their goal-oriented idea collections.

 ### 47. Simple idea - Great app

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I have to deal with many ideas that pops into my mind. I've tried post-it notes, colored stickies on pages, different colored notebooks, you name it. So I thought I'd give Ideanote a chance and I'm just knocked out by it.

The connective of ideas process, as well as the visual aspects are EXACTLY what I've been looking for. Also these guys seem to care and love feedback. I get that just from seeing the responses to questions as well as the videos I've watched and the road map looks great!

Looking forward to finally crawling out from behind my 'notebook mountain' here on my desk and getting more done.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

1. The whole "folders" concept really is hard to get. It shouldn't even be in there as a parameter.

2. It doesn't have the features for real collaboration (yet?).

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most important jobs of an entrepreneur and a business leader is to gather and act on quality ideas to move the company forward. Ideanote does an exquisite job of gathering and organizing ideas so that you can continue to innovate. Great user experience - I’m excited to continue to use it.

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

If Ideanote had not published a great deal on Appsumo in May, I might have missed it.
Outstanding way of collecting ideas from all layers in your organization, and even your customers/potential customers. I’m planning to use Ideanote as a way to gather customer ideas. The tools are very simple to start working with, you just need to create a new project, and ask a question. You can illustrate the page, where your question is displayed, then you just must share the link with the people of your choice and to wait for their answers and ideas. This product has enormous potential. The people behind Ideanote are very responsive. It's important to listen to your customers, members or employees. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I hope there one day also will be a Finnish translation!
Cannot think of of any issues right now. When I find a problem, I'm sure these guys will solve it in no time!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote allows us to guide discussions via questions that you can ask either to your employees / colleagues or to guest via links that you share with them.

**Official Response from Jakob Storjohann:**

> Hi Raymond, mitä kuuluu?

Thanks for your review and your kind words, it means a lot.

Just wanted to let you know that Ideanote is available in Finnish language now - you can change the language in your workspace settings and in your profile.

Let us know if you need anything,
Keep making ideas matter,
Jakob

 ### 49. A Brainstorming No Brainer, Great tool for innovation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is a fantastic tool for getting ideas within the organization as well from the users/customers outside the organization. Great UX/UI for easy navigation. It is highly recommended to have it in your organization.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

There is no iOS/Android application available right now. It will be great if we can get more control over the feedback page.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you are unable to measure, you can’t improve. So, having a platform like ideanote can help you to collect all the possible ideas/improvements from everyone who collaborates with your project/organization.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped me to collect better ideas from my colleagues as well as my customers via website!

 ### 50. Ideas about Ideanote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is a team building, idea development and decision-making tool that can be easily implemented in your organization. It is a unique way to hear what your team members and/or target audience is saying (up to the granular level) and it also can be prioritized. You then can steer your content in the direction it 'should' be going, not where you 'think' it should go. It fosters creativity and empowerment of your team members.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Nothing that I really dislike about it. As with everything there is the challenge to initially expose team members to adopt something new, but the pain point for this product is low.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

It is a creative way to really think about and explore ideas with your team and/or target audience.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote allows for ideas to be generated, explored and built upon, to eventually be validated or rejected. I like how team members can feel ownership of an idea and become more involved.
