## Ideanote Reviews
 ### 1. Excellent tool, very easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandra S. | Project Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I love how this process takes you and how easy it is to use. It's what I've been waiting for, in-house and in-house to organise my thoughts and document them and move them to work. It enables you to quickly define and extract basics, patterns and impacts by organizing, scoring and classifying thoughts, perspectives and team contributors.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I want to broaden the study beyond members of the team and registered visitors. In order that I can still get the opinions and input of those who may not sign up, I need Ideanote to encourage me to incorporate the suggestions of team members, registered guests and anonymic guests. The research's value is the view, not the person's name or identity. It would be awesome to be able to use the API in my own way, and I definitely have a special case to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

This is the optimal method for measurement of methods, outcomes and means of implementing creativity and concepts. It allows everyone to observe the entire cycle tidy and quickly. The team's thoughts and suggestions can be gathered, arranged and prioritized using a clear, but complete framework that allows management in the organisation to draw up an action plan for any project or task.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For team management, it is an invaluable instrument. It helped me transform the daunting and complex strategic phase into simply, schematically and efficiently. The biggest benefit is that my workspaces are completely marked with the logos and colour design of my business. The URL to enter the site is included. I've got many thoughts often. It gives me the chance to plan and post it if I need it. It retains the loop of creativity of simple and real outcomes that could be hard to obtain before using Ideanote.

 ### 2. Sharing smart ideas is important to us, and so is ideanote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I recommend different modes for the user interface

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Very well suited for a team environment who are interested in sharing smart ideas

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 3. The best innovation software to develop and act on the right ideas.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katrina T. | Head of Sales and Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

We can create our own optimized innovation flow and collect feedbacks from our company.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is the best platform that I ever used so I don't have any dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

It saves time streamlines company workflows.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking our innovation impact and collecting ideas for new products.

 ### 4. Excellent, well designed solution for internal brainstorming and ideation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mai L. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

We currently use IdeaNote internally for various brainstorming sessions. There are a couple of highlights that make IdeaNote easily one of our favourite tools:
1. IdeaNote has an excellent UI/UX and a very well thought out design. I checked their LinkedIn and I think one of the current co-founders is a designer, perhaps that's why the product is such a real pleasure to use.
2. The solution can be made entirely white-labelled with a CNAME - so it looks impressive and almost like a tool we've built ourselves internally.
3. Our ideas are centralised instead of being scattered in various mediums both online and offline. The benefits of having them all on IdeaNote is that they can be easily collected, prioritised and measured. This results in more real-world actions taken over the various ideas internally.
Overall, I love it, and so is our team. We use it at least once a week and sometimes every other day!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

1. No way to customise settings for notifications. More granular notification settings will be much appreciated!
2. Currently there is no feature to "Feature" or "Priority Rank" the winning or chosen ideas, besides having the highest counts of upvotes. More options on idea sorting will be much appreciated.
3. We can't indicate the progress of a Mission or inputting a "decision" status for each. Sometimes it's hard to see what's been decided and actioned on from the whole idea-collection. A simple "decision" status or some forms of the progress status of a Mission will be useful, as well as the ability to highlight the "chosen suggestions" for each mission.

IdeaNote team is very responsive though, from my experience. When I communicated with them about some issues, they have always responded almost instantly and in a very helpful manner. It really showed that they care. Given that impression, I am reasonably confident that they will take these missing feature feedback onboard and continue to improve the product.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

You can use IdeaNote for several unexpected use cases, doesn't always have to be old boring business-y use cases. On our side, some fun use cases have been to use it for:
1. Founder Weekly Townhall
2. Onboarding Process Improvement (Collecting ideas from new hires)
3. Interview Process Improvement (Collecting ideas from candidates)
4. Team Vacation Brainstorming
and more.
Think about some creative use of this tool applicable to your organisation and you will get a lot more out of it!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems we previously encountered were the low yield of our previous brainstorming process. This is because:
1. When we did multiple concurrent brainstorming, our ideas are not really trackable and often scattered in various mediums. This could be both online (e.g. in Google Docs Meeting minutes, mindmap tools) and offline (e.g. Our notebooks or sticky notes)
2. Since these suggestions are not recorded in an adequate and prompt manner, this results in no immediate actions and a loss of business opportunities.
3. Our employees are discouraged because the ideas they contribute don't seem to result in actions. They feel no recognition to contribute thoughts and thinking outside of the box about solving business challenges.

IdeaNote has solved this very problem for us. With IdeaNote acting as a centralised workspace for ideas, we are able to collect suggestions and engage our team members' creativity, as well as taking actions on their thoughtful contributions and measuring their impact.

 ### 5. Just what I needed!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason E. | Film Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

It allows me to structure my ideas in a way that allows others to collaborate, rate and become involved in the process.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It doesn't seem like the Favicon is replaceable which breaks the whitelabel

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing and organizing ideas in a meaningful way. I've always had a lot of ideas. Now I can capture them and receive feedback on them.

 ### 6. Ideation Has Reached New Heights At My Company With Ideanote

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew T. | President & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Great ideas inside my company are no longer neglected, forgotten, or lost with Ideanote. In the past, ideas were scattered all over the place -- Google Docs, Notion, Evernote, Notes, voice memos, binders, sticky notes, etc.

Now we have one central place to capture, develop, and prioritize our best business ideas, regardless of the source. I absolutely love how Ideanote manages ideas from beginning to end. The ability to rate ideas on different criteria is one of my favorite features.

Give Ideanote a try and witness the turbo boost your company experiences with idea innovation. Enjoy!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Nothing so far. It would be cool if they had a mobile app, if executed well.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideation is less of a task and more of an interactive, enjoyable exercise.

With Ideanote, we've been able to find the best ideas that will give us the best chance of achieving our big hairy audacious goals.

 ### 7. A powerhouse platform for harvesting good ideas into impactful action

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

What I love most is a 360-degree approach to pragmatic innovation, with a complete life cycle of ideas that goes from gathering and rating to managing implementation and measuring impact.

Support is generous and attentive, and help documentation well organized in multi-format (articles, videos, pop-ups to encourage next steps, and an implementation wizard).

The UI and UX are pleasurable and engaging, including whimsical favicons/emoticons for categorization and ratings, inspiring photos to adorn missions to your heart’s content, and so much breathing white space moving around that you feel designers don’t underplay the human wellbeing factor in this tool created to foster creative thinking and cognitive power. You feel love for people while hanging around !

They even demonstrated the power of collaborative innovation they stand for by developing advanced analytical capabilities out of interaction with enterprise-grade customer. Showing again that a major focus of this platform is useful management of ideas by developing visual tools to cluster by topic, or search by customizing keywords.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Although can be used in different languages, it doesn't allow yet for further customization according to missions and teams, something I'd like to see implemented. So you can work simultaneously with different speaking audiences in different initiatives.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of siloed organizations and complex global problems that require collaboration across sectors and industries can be tackled with this platform. You can encourage constructive problem-solving across departments that often don't talk to each other, and you can drive ambitious external consultations with stakeholders because the platform can help scale up or narrow down initiatives as you go from local to global or from cross-sector to a narrow niche.

 ### 8. One of the best tools I ever seen to innovate ideas that you and your team may have be working on.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alfredo d. | Founder, Delaren Consulting LLC, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The people behind Ideanote are one of the best support experiences I ever have. As their client you have access to virtual face-to-face support with them which, I found invaluable. That tells you their passion and commitment to help you reach your goals.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I don't have any issues to comment nor things that I don't like.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

You may have the best software tool on earth but if you don't count with the support of their creators there isn't much you can do moving ahead. Ideanote has that amazing support and the tool is easy to use yet very powerful.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems I am solving:
+ Decide new products to launch by brainstorming ideas between stakeholders
+ Define personal goals and been able to priority at ease
Benefits:
+ Easy of use, yet powerful
+ Multi-language
+ Fantastic collaboration tool

 ### 9. What a good Idea!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Simplicity. I am not a fan of things that are complicated, in fact, I would even go as far to say complicated things suck! Idea note helps you to organize your ideas and collaborate with communities, clients, fan bases, people and collaborate in a simple yet beautiful way. I really really love its simple yet complex if you want it to be, use case potential.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Nothing to dislike, not saying that because im lazy, I just can not find anything that it promised to deliver that didn't. Give it a trial if anything and you are likely hooked. Get those ideas out of your brain and on to the computer.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Just give it a trial, its the only way to know if its perfect for you, in our case it is.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brain fog, organization, brain storming, collaboration. out reach. All of the above helped by Idea note!

 ### 10. Ideanote Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amir C. | Founder + Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

 ### 11. Amazing and unique tool for collaboration and creativity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damon C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Organizing ideas into collections, and allowing team members to flesh out the ideas together is awesome. Also, voting for ideas to see what everyone likes and wants to move forward with is very nice. I have multiple brands under one umbrella, so it's cool that I can create "missions" around ideas for each brand.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The only issues so far have been around inviting/onboarding team members.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

There's a small learning curve in understanding the missions and ideas concepts, but it's worth it to figure out. There's no mobile app, but the mobile web version works ok.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a digital platform, I'm gathering ideas together around content and development. Will also explore having guest users vote on content they'd like to see in the future. I'm also able to gather and organize ideas more efficiently for the other brands outside of the digital platform.

 ### 12. Great for crowd sourcing innovation and getting feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony C. | Freelance Graphic Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I love how well thought out the stages of collection and ideation are. Its very straightforward in the way ideas are captured and organised. I particularly like how it encourages members to comment on ideas and contribute there own. It still allows for a lot of flexibility on how you arranges the stages and branding. I'm currently using it with a company to capture ideas around rebranding and doing more internal content generation for its clients. Its the easiest way to get everybody's input in a creative and relaxed fashion.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Its perfectly usable and a great concept, but perhaps a little clunky. I feel the product is developing and I'm hoping, as its early days that it will offer more dynamic ways to interlink and physically rearrange content by dropping it into different blocks more easily.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Have a look! Its definitely a good solution for getting people to contribution valuable ideas in a very focusing way...

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently using it as a crowd sourcing solution, where I want members of different branches of an addiction clinic to contribute ideas for an online platform to assist in aftercare services. Its working a treat for showcasing possibilities and getting valuable feedback.

 ### 13. Wow...this platform is smooth like butter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Stephen P. | Co-Founder / Co-CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I'd have to say that the best part about idea note is the onboarding user experience. I've never seen anything quite like it, and although it was totally out of the ordinary, it gave me a great glimpse of what this platform has to offer. I really enjoyed it, and usually onboarding is a pain in the butt. Not with Ideanote.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I haven't seen anything that I dislike as of yet, although I am a new user and so I'm still getting my bearings.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using this as a repository of ideas for my business as well as my personal life. I haven't rolled it out to my entire team yet, although that's coming in the next couple of weeks. With that said, I'm planning on using this to create a completely open environment for my employees to share and collaborate on ideas. Once I roll that out, I'd like to experiment to see if this is a platform I can use to better communicate with my clients.

 ### 14. Go-To Tool for idea brain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Coën V. | HEAD OF KEINBOCK., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Self explanatory idea cluster for colleagues. Sometimes its jsut hard to showcase connected ideas inside your brain to colleagues and partners. This way you can show the correct segmentations and the little steps or status in which the idea is currently in. With ideanote you can make ideas not just ideas but ones that are attached to actual progess and action.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Ideas need fast processing before they get lost. And sometimes the servers can be challenging. But those are very rare cases

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Ideanote is not an noteapp like Evernote. Rather it's about team collab idea generation and bringing ideas literally to live and not leave them after the first day in the "idea drawyer" that never gets touched again.

With ideanote you can track your ideas and get feedback with comments and other interactions from your team. I

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

team collaboration and getting them on the same boat

 ### 15. As an "idea person", I really needed this tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** La C. | CEO & Co-Founder of La Connexional, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The ease of use and the ability to easily collaborate with my team to refine ideas is simply mind-blowing and every single step gets tracked. I have used a bunch of collaborative tools and ways to track the progress of my ideas before but this one is basically the Thanos of them all! Plus, we work a lot with our community so the potential of this tool to also help us gather feedback from the community on new projects and ideas is limitless.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It is really hard to say. I think the limit on the storage space which is 50 GB is something but really we will definitely not reach that limit in our case. You can also link external files from google to easily avoid reaching that limit. We don't deal with a lot of heavy files in our day to day and when they are that heavy, we will just store them in our google drive.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you have been struggling managing and/or improving ideas while also tracking them, this tool is what you need!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collaboration & management. Gathering effective feedback from community members & partners. Efficiently and effortlessly tracking my ideas and their progress

 ### 16. Growth Hacking tool for collaborating on ideas

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John C. | Technical director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

This is an essential tool for collecting and voting on ideas across a company or organisation. It allows 'siloed' departments to submit and discuss ideas.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I'd prefer if customers didn't have to create an account to submit an idea or vote, but I understand the reasons (accountability). When using ideanote within an organisation this isn't a problem as everyone is made aware of the process.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

It is expensive and a shock when you look at the price, but consider the value created by collecting ideas efficiently. Some ideas, if implemented, have the possibility to double turnover.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving everyone in an organisation the opportunity to (easily) share their ideas.

 ### 17. Great tool for managing ideas with your team members but difficult to get your customers involved

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timur B. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

It's a great tool for managing ideas with members of your team. Very easy to submit ideas, categorize them, approve, collaborate and execute. The process is clear and straightforward, literally without any learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

As of now, it doesn't seem to be designed for the retail environment. We couldn't figure out the way how to get our customers involved in submitting and managing ideas. The reason is simple, your customers need to create an IdeanNote account in order to submit and manage ideas. While this requirement is totally fine for your team members or your clients who become temporary members (guests) while you are working on a particular project with them, I don't see how it can efficiently work for retail customers. The last thing you want is to bother your retail customers to register for another account. They are making you a favour by submitting their ideas or sharing feedback. Collecting ideas from your retail customers should be easy. If you require your retail customers to register, the level of participation will be low and therefore the whole process becomes inefficient. Retail customers shouldn't be required to register to submit their ideas or feedback.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you are a team of several people who need to manage ideas and implement them, this is a great tool for you. Very easy and efficient. As of August 2020, I don't think it's suitable for getting your retail customers involved in the process due to the registration requirement.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Submitting and managing ideas with members of your team. The process is simple and efficient, and you can see the progress of your ideas.

 ### 18. Let's your creative ideas flow and bring them to the next level.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefano M. | Design Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

What I love about Ideanote is that it enables me and my team to capture, develop and prioritize ideas in an easy and fashionable manner. While you can achieve the same with pen and paper the collaborative nature of this platfrom add value at every step of the process.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

As I use the platform to collect customer feedback I'd love the possibility for a user to upvote an idea without the need to create an account with ideanote.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you are looking for an app allowing you and your team to generate, share, vote and improve innovative ideas for your product or service Ideanote is the right platfrom to use.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideas for a new product or service can occur at any time within organizations. Relying on serendipity is not always the best strategy for innovation. Ideanote is helping me and my team to come up with new ideas, share them with the rest of the team and to upvote and refine them overtime.

 ### 19. Finally an innovation space the whole team can use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan Mikael Y. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The simplicity of use and design makes it possible for almost anyone to get it and become a part of the innovation process.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I like color coding and that option is missing right now. It would be nice to color code the different idea flows and statuses.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you need a clean and seemingly simple innovation space, Ideanote will work very well.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using several different SaaS to accomplish what ideanote does with such simplicity and ease of use. Everybody in the organization from floor workers to executives likes to use the platform and onboarding takes 10 minutes per person. A dream for a CDO, saving money and getting a better product at the same time.

We are more creative now and people feel comfortable sharing no matter their position in the company.

 ### 20. Idea Management on Steriods

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramon H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

It looks gorgeous and is feature rich! It is possible to build comparable workflows for idea management with other project management tools, but the UX will be always worse, because they aren't build for it. Ideanote has mastered idea management perfectly. Even if you can't afford it, try it out via the trial to get an idea of the workflow. It will help you to build something comparable within another tool.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It is quite expensive, especially for such a niche tool! But I guess, in particular for enterprises, a well management innovation workflow can be a gold mine.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save time and money with a will though out idea and innovation workflow.

 ### 21. The best alternative

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rekha J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

With so much material from the work that we do, and to keep up with new and fresh ideas, it is so important to have an organized means that is also structured. It aids in company communication, especially in this Covid time. The simple UI also makes us feel less overwhelming. The lot of whitespace on Ideanote seems to be done by design and not accidental, for this precise reason.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Have to get used to it and need some updates on some items we might not want to show to everyone.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With so much material from the work that we do, and to keep up with new and fresh ideas, it is so important to have an organized means that is also structured. It aids in company communication, especially in this Covid time

 ### 22. Many Potential Use Cases For My Businesses!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I'm really loving the clean and simple user interface (UI) of IdeaNote. It's uncluttered, easy to navigate and greatly reduces the learning curve. The software itself is just what I've been looking for in terms of keeping track of not only my own ideas, but also collecting feedback from others - both internally within my own team and from my external audience!
Also, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that the ENTIRE platform can be white-labeled - from the colour scheme right down to the url/domain.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It would be great if guest users could provide ideas/feedback without having to register a user account. I can understand the reason behind forcing account creation, however it would be nice to have the option as this would suit some of my use cases.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you're looking for a new way of interacting with your internal team or an external audience to collect ideas and gather feedback on new or existing products or services, then IdeaNote is for you!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IdeaNote will simplify and streamline the process in which I collect information from my users, clients and potential customers.
I can now stop using plain ol' boring email, html form submissions from a website and also google powered surveys to collect information.

 ### 23. Ideanote to the rescue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The ability to crowdsource ideas and allow the best to rise to the top. I also really like their team. They are a strong team and continuing to invest and grow their product.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

user's emails are shown to other users. This is problematic for many reasons but overall it makes our users hesitant to share info. - I would like the ability to have anonymous ideas posted. They may have fixed that though. They are moving very quickly.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting ideas from our students. The best ideas come from the trenches, we need to stay connected to the front lines and ideanote helps us to do just that!

 ### 24. Perfect tool for ideation accelerators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan C. K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Digital display of ideas, Manamgement of idea-workflow, analytics to find more synergies on innovation in one company.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Nothing so far. The company seems young, but roadmap looks very promissing.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Note: It does make a ton of sense to watch the webinar on YouTube in regards to their AppSumo Deal, because it introduces you to a solid team, functionality and lots of upcoming features to look forward to.

Due to Corona we're about to turn our business focus from helping clients in their innovation by co-operating with startups to offering an ever increasing range of virtual events and workshops. Since we've got lots of tools on innovation from our prior work, I am now looking more for software that our clients can easily adopt and introduce to their remote workforce. With this premise this deal is a no-brainer.

The feature that enthuses me the most is the customization of idea workflows and ease of sharing missions with an external crowd that does not need ideanote-membership status.

Setup is easy as pie and so far I was able to find everything I was looking for,

Besides working with clients in virtual workshops where I see this as an awesome pre-workshop fact- and inspiration-finding tool, we also run virtual acceleration programs where we help to develop ideas to a board-level presentation. Fostering a good exchange and iteration on those ideas on a digital platform has been very challenging. We've tried developing it ourselves on websites and social groups, but that does take a lot of manual labour. With ideanote I can put this process on auto-pilot AND increase external participation. Loving it.

If you work in consulting or plan to do so, it'll take very little paid work at somewhat normal rates to turn this investment into a profit.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visual representation of a number of ideas. Including diverse departmental silos in idea and innovation management.

 ### 25. Using this is just going to be amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ranjit G. | Founder CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I have been using idea note for about 3 days now and playing around with it

The best bit about it is its simplicity and knowing that the ideanote team listen to feedback and implement so many great new things

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Not much at the moment though it would be great if one day Ideanote becomes like a focus group session

where you can have multiple topics and and people can break out and team members can concentrate on a particular topic with members of the focus group and compile that together

In a sense it is there and maybe I can't see it at the moment

I know what I'm going to do I'm going to write to idea note and tell them what I think. They are such great listeners for feedback

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

We see this is available to collect feedback from our customers and by that we need direct users

However we are B2B to see business and we'll be using it with our business customers together feedback as well

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I see this is a very valuable companion to something like trello

If you have a roadmap for example on trello it could be interesting to use idea note that's where the note-taking takes place

 ### 26. Great Experience and Just what I've been looking for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zia W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Love the way it takes you through process and the easy to use experience. It is just what I have been looking for to organise my ideas both internally and externally as well as keep them on track and taking them to execution.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Nothing really! Would be great if I could get API to access within my own framework and I have a probably unique use-case I'd love to discuss with the team that could be achieved using the API

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you are looking to gain measurable processes, outcomes and ways to implement innovation and ideas this is the ideal tool. It makes the whole cycle neat and easy to follow for everyone.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me I often have lots of ideas as a small consultancy, VC fund and my own side hustles. It gives me a place to organise them and share them when I need to. It keeps the innovation cycle clear and with actual outcomes - which could be hard to come by before using Ideanote.

 ### 27. Ideanote Makes Ideation quick, easy, and effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jarrod G. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The ability to quickly capture ideas and then have them collaborated on with the team. The ability to quickly solicit feedback on ideas, refine them, and assign for implementation is phenomenal.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Would like the admin console to be a little more intuitive in terms of adding admin users.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

The time-savings in terms of creating and validating ideas is worth the price of admission. My team spent a lot of time in the back-and-forth when brainstorming, but Ideanote really streamlined the process. There's huge value in being able to create, refine, and deploy ideas quickly and efficiently.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My department is very creative and we used to spend a lot of time passing around a spreadsheet in order to collect ideas and then prioritize what to focus our efforts on. Ideanote allows everyone to see ideas, add their own feedback, and then rank/grade ideas prior to implementation. There's no wasting time sending a spreadsheet back and forth, everything is captured and visible in real-time.

 ### 28. Ideanote for Social Community Building and TV Show feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boyd S. | Marketing and TV Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Review of IdeaNote after recent purchase.
Overall: Great app so far.
Signup process super easy, good handholding to get setup that takes 3 minutes answering questions, and off to the races building missions for users to start engaging with. Great onboarding.

Why I purchased:
1) I am building a new OTT Television station in FLINT MI to counter the negative view of my city. I believe IdeaNote has the infrastructure to help me build what people want to create and watch.

2) As I build an OTT video station, I need to make use of my community to create content. From user submitted show ideas, guests and feedback... I think Ideanote is going to be a great fit.

Note: My one request that I will submit to the Ideanote Roadmap: adding video submissions.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Not seeing any video integration in the user submission process but know its on the roadmap.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Ideanote is a great idea to build a platform to bring people together in local communities to collaborate, discuss and impliment grassroots ideas and solutions at the local level.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: residents in my community feel like they have no voice or no support. About violence, city government, racism, education, a water crisis that continues in some areas. Ideanote gives them an easy way to submit ideas, get inspired and feel a part of the process. and find people to engage with and build with. Grassroots at its best. This content guides me to know the issues and subjects people actually want. And the upvoting feature in Ideanote is priceless.

 ### 29. Great For Agency Use - Gathering Client Data and Ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan J. | Agency Director, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

We're using Ideanote to replace a few different software solutions to gather client data for the initial onboarding and "mood-boarding" before we get into the project management side of things. The client tends to text/email/chat their ideas during the initial concept phase of a project so this allows us to gather all that into 1 central place so once we do our client check-in meeting there's a visual representation of what they were wanting. It's great for all team members to use this as well to add any notes or ideas to the project before we really get into the it (and move it over to a project management system). Our current workflow is:

1. Client onboarding (survey/forms)
2. Ideation phase (ideanote)
3. Execution (Project Management system)

Before in the ideation phase, we would use something like Trello or Airtable but graphically it wasn't as appealing to clients and we ended up just using it internally. The best part about Ideanote is there is tracking and metrics on which ideas are getting the most interactions (great for speaking points when dealing with clients).

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Ideally, there should be a dark mode for this concept. Also, the app is intuitive for people used to using SaaS software, but less so for our clients, so it'll take some onboarding time for them. If they could make a less tech-centric onboarding explainer that'll be fantastic, until then we're just going to using a quick Zoom call to explain how to use the system.

Also, it would be great if we could integrate and export this to project management software so there's less duplicating work but usually, we are using this as the initial phase before defining requirements.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you're looking for a nice to have way of gathering client ideas and notes together, this is it.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving client ideation phase by centralizing data and tracking what is really important to clients before road-mapping a project and implementing it. This saves us a lot of scope creep (by seeing what the client finds most important) as well as time by centralizing the data.

 ### 30. Extremely valuable, even if you havent done idea collection before.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dani V. | D, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The UI is brilliant and very well thought, there is a little bit of a learning curve, not with the platform, but with the concept, specially if you are not used to collect ideas, but then it makes total sense. The embedding/sharing options are powerful and easy to use, and the team folders take a bit of time to get used to, but again, it becomes obvious its a great way to organize the missions. The UI is enticing and motivates adoption. I cant wait to see what we will do with it.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I dont like is that guests need to register an account in order to leave feedback or give ideas. I understand this when the mission is embedded on a public website, but when im sharing with 5-10 people in a specific circle, id like if they didnt have to create YET another account.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

While its an enterprise-grade software, also any-size companies can benefit from this software. If you can afford it, go for it.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved a problem i never knew i had. My slack channel nor my Asana board should be cluttered with brainstorming notes that distract everyone from the tasks at hand. Ideanote has created a brilliant space to collect, discuss and vote for ideas that later will go on to be executed (i.e. they go on Asana once we have agreed on how to execute)

We have never done idea collection at my company before, but now i cant stop thinking about new use-cases, like sharing missions with our partners and clients to let them tell us how they want work done, instead of emailing back and forth.

 ### 31. Super Powerful Idea Management SaaS Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt P. | Insights & Optimisation Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is an immensely and intuitive SaaS app that is extremely useful in providing a highly collaborative environment to engage people to submit ideas.

The platform is easy to use and provides a lot of customisations and also integrations with more to come.

There are significant positive benefits in giving employees an opportunity to provide ideas, harnessing thought and creativity, then collectively turning an idea into an innovative service or product or whatever he idea may be. You are only limited by your imagination. It is a win-win product overall as employees feel more engaged and feel positive for providing a contribution to the business, sometimes beyond their role.

Ideanote will take businesses who embrace this product and the journeys it encourages, to the next level and give the business a competitive advantage over other businesses.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It has some nice integrations but hoping that there are more on their road map.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Any business where collaboration is encouraged beyond written colloboration need to consider Ideanote. Whether it is a one person business or a 500 person business, the principles used are the same and it is very easy to learn.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One place of contact, no more excel files and word docs with different versions being handed around plus preferring web apps like Ideanote note.

 ### 32. Elegant idea management software with an amazing UX/UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filiberto F. | Engagement & Product Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote can help you organize the ideas, suggestions, opinions, feedback not only from your clients, but also from your internal team. The feature that I love the most is the ability to share missions with an external crowd (i.e. clients) that does not need to be members of Ideanote. Also, the widget is pretty useful to embedded into your site and get suggestions directly from your visitor.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is a pretty mature tool and you will find what you could expect from an Innovation Ideas Manager Platform. The only thing, I would love to have in the future, would be a Poll functionality, but right now as it is, it's awesome!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideanote has simplified a lot the way we communicate with our clients. Now, is dead simple to give them a communication channel in which they can express their ideas and suggestions. This way, we can build products and services alongside with them...

 ### 33. Why as a Research Consultant I am using and would recommend Ideanote.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gilberto Enrique V. | Chief Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I have been using Ideanote to take my Qualitative Research to a the next level as it allows team ideas, opinions and contributions to be organized, classified, rated, and ranked to easily determine and extract baselines, trends and impact issues.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I would like to be able to expand the research beyond team members and registered guests. I need Ideanote to allow me to combine ideas from team members, registered guests, and also anonymous guests so that I can also obtain the opinions and contributions of those that will not consider registering. The importance of research is the opinion, not the name or identification of the person.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

It is a simple yet complete system for collecting, organizing and ranking team ideas and opinions which allow management to extract a Plan of Action for any mission or project being executed in your organization.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideaontote is the equivalent of a Virtual, online Focus Groups, and especially in these times of pandemic and social distancing, this is an invaluable tool for team management. It has helped me convert the difficult and complicated process of strategizing, into a simple, schematic, and effective endeavor. the main benefit is that my workspaces are completely branded with my Company logos and color style. Including the URL to access the site.

 ### 34. Take Note "IdeaNote" Really inspires exploration and collaboration of innovative ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Based on my personal experience on the platform, what I like is...

(1) The simplicity of idea-innovation management and it's fully functional
(2) Capacity to scale for unlimited members
(3) Note-taking and discussion from ANYONE anywhere
(4) Separation of communication for any combination of member participants who want to share and collaborate on ideas (i.e public or private, internal or external, local or Global etc)
(5) Their Support and fix ethic is courteous, enthusiastic, helpful and useful
(6) Well-thought-out tier for analytics and reporting based on your needs
(6) Really flexible to new ideas to improve the platform
(7) Transparent and cost-effective.

I could go on, but you really need to try it, to believe the value of this product. Especially in a time where people everywhere, need to share, collaborate and innovate more than ever before.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

(a) One thing that I am not so cool on is the storage space limit of 50GB. That said they provide ways to avoid hitting that limit, by allowing you to link and embed external sources like documents and video to areas on the system that matter most.

(b) The other is control over the types of notifications I can receive. Although it might not be ideal, it's also not a deal-breaking real issue, it's more of a nicety.
The introduction of new features and frequent updates and existing feature reviews, outway, any need for concern and I believe if "notification options" were a major want/need, the founders would review and adapt accordingly.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Innovation is the key:
If you want to find a flexible way to engage with your audience/customers, IdeaNote provides a flexible way to do. Out of the box is allows for website integration other technologies (coming soon) including Zapier if you need it.
It's less intimidating to end-users and provides an excellent buffer between ideas and Project Management - Implementation

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IdeaNote helps us solve our concern for providing simple secure access, yet fully manageable processing of customer needs, in particular allowing customers to express themselves freely.
We also solved a need for a fun and engaging platform to encourage continuous active and participation across differing cultures. This is not as simple as it sounds when we would normally look to traditional Project Management tools to handle this type of engagement.

The benefit is clear, our members of all ages are not intimidated by the access methodology, nor are they overwhelmed because we have the flexibility to control the look and feel of the platform, providing a continuous method to improve upon User Experiences.
Our main objectives, to filter and prioritise which ideas/projects should be acted upon and transferred to production, is a real World benefit and frankly a no brainer when we harness the features of IdeaNote.

 ### 35. Idea Curation Made Easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Look, as an author, ideas are everything. Ideanote makes it simple (and fun) for my beta readers to help me brainstorm new details that make the worlds I'm creating come alive. They can vote on ideas, and I can bump the best ones into hall of fame and give credit to my fans.

On top of that, I like that Ideanote takes the competitveness out of the joy of new ideas. If something works, it gets highly rated. if it doesn't, it doesn't. That's the basic part, but the special thing is what comes next. A 'bad' idea can still inspire a good one, and by encouraging participation and internal discussion, Ideanote does an excellent job of giving life to the muse that lives in all of us.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The dashboard/UI takes a little while to work out, at least for me. It seems like every time I go in there I have to relearn how to add a Mission, which probably means that it could stand to be more intuitive...

Short of that, once I get back into the swing of things I find that the rest of the user experience works well.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Ideanote, it was very difficult to get input on works that were not yet completed. Now, as soon as the beta readers finish a chapter I can leave them a link and they're off to the races.

No more begging, no more pleading - only interested people leaving interesting feedback.

 ### 36. Best System to Collect Ideas for Growth and Agile Marketers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos R. | Co-Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I loved the way the ideas are structure like challenges. For me and my team that was just perfect to focus on my business needs. We work with Agile Marketing and myself as Marketing Owner need a tool to help me collect ideas from my team. That is great we can do it inside other tools, but the way IdeaNote makes our life easier is something really awesome. Right now we are probably in a direction to collect more ideas than ever. That will transform our product and our company. For sure IdeaNote is helping us to be easier for us to achieve our mission and goals. Thanks Idea Note team to make such awesome product.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Actually there is not much. Maybe a way to filter and organize ides based in score. That would be great for me and would help me a lot. Maybe the UX could be a little better.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Maybe a way to filter and organize ides based in score.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a tool to collect and rate ideas within our team. We work with agile marketing and collect, organize and score ideas is what we needed. Before IdeaNote we collected ideas within our team for our products and services using a excell spreadsheet. Now we have a tool to that and make our lifes better. I am totally convinced that we will at least double the size of ideas collected. We are very very excited with Idea Note.

 ### 37. Great way of getting people involved!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William C. | Founder / Senior IT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is extremely easy to use, which means nobody needs to be a genius to add ideas. This means you don't risk losing good ideas from team members that aren't as tech savvy.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

There was only one thing that I disliked, which was a small data visibility issue early on. When I brought this up to Ideanote, they added a feature to better hide account data from guests using only a guest URL. This team is hyper-responsive and they do not want to let any group of users down, so as long as there is some support for a feature request, you can bet they will give it serious consideration.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do a lot of information technology projects for clients and this is a great platform to get initial objectives, objections, and feedback out of the gate. By making it this easy, we eliminate some hesitation and confusion that may come from only collecting ideas by email or meetings.

 ### 38. Incredible piece of software for managing ideas and engage with your community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The platform is amazing and the use cases are endless! My team and I are so excited that we found something like this! Great software for managing ideas and to give your audience voice.

We're currently use it to develop a platform where the community we work with can submit ideas to let us know what they're looking for our next event.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I'm missing a mobile app that could help with the ideas submissions and the management. Not essential but very helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you're looking for a software that allows you to engage with a community, internal or external, and you want to give them voice this is a great product for such purpose.

We have big plans for it, it's like owning your own social network and being able to engage with your community in a whole new level.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're running a community where we need to know what people want for our next event and this platforms really nails it for these kinds of engagement.

 ### 39. We can use this in so many ways

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulf K. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Great platform to collect our new ideas
Very clean, so elegant of a solution in its simplicity to use and yet truly powerful in its function.
UX/UI is just amazing and the roadmap looks very promising.
Collect ideas, comment on ideas, rate the ideas and then assign the ideas.
The perfect solution for brainstorming all kinds of ideas and feedback.
My native language (german) is already integrated into the platform.
We are in the online educating business and have a substantial group on facebook, that we would like to integrate more in our plans and goals ahead. This tool gives us a fantastic opportinity to get our group involved. I might even stack more when playing with the tool an trying things out today. So far I really like the level of customization! CNAME, whitelabel, everything you can dream of!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I would love a chat option to discuss live with other members about ideas.
The cname setup seems a bit clunky and could need a bit of updates to make the process more streamlined.
I really like the concept of collecting ideas, but it would be great if there was an option to transition it to a task to make it really work.
I would like to see some kind of integrations with other tools like pabbly connect or marketing services like mailerlite.
It would be a benefit to have some kind of labeling system to categorize ideas, such as high, med, low or something similar. Maybe even let the users define it themselves.
Please allow enabling anonymous feedback on a mission level, to reduce friction in providing feedback if the topic is sensitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

I love the concept of the app and the features there are awesome. Just try it for yourself and see if it works for you.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting input and ideas from our community to help us to grow.
Centralising our efforts to get feedback
Having a dedicated workspace to collaborate with fellow admins to push our goals into the right direction

**Official Response from Jakob Storjohann:**

> Hi Ulf - love the in-depth review. Great to read all the thoughts you have on the idea collection process.

Just wanted to check back in with you here and let you know that two points you raised are now possible with Ideanote. You can integrate with Mailerlite via our Zapier integration and you can let people self-categorize ideas with custom checklists and radio button fields.

Keep making ideas matter,
Jakob

 ### 40. Centralised Idea Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Fresh unique approach in collecting idea's - I've used a number of 'task' driven project management solutions and this product is a refreshing change from the traditional project / task method.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

It's very good at it's direct purpose - collecting idea's, but not so good at presenting the idea's into the next stage - it does tackle this (Using phases) but find this part of the interface clunky and could be improved upon.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If your primary focus is collecting Idea's, Ideanote does an excellent job in collecting and organising both internal and external feedback. If your primary focus is project management or road maps, other products are porbably better suited. Ideanote does what it does very well.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We build website applications. Idea Note will be helping us build a better idea of what customers wish to be added to future developments as well as input from our own engineers with difficulty etc.

It provides a centralised point for our project director to plan and approve up and coming features with an in-depth understanding from both our users and/or clients as well as our internal team.

 ### 41. If you're scaling your business, you need ideanote.io

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helen S. | MD, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I like the ease of use, UX and suggestions as you go along. I felt from the word go that my hand was being held in what is a new area for me. Usually, all the ideas are in my head, and there's lots of them, plus I've had an ad hoc approach to innovation. I'm feeling happier that I will be able to make greater strides in the innovation we want to drive through as a business by using the platform. Trello and Asana have proven useful in the past to set out tasks however they don't really guide in the same way as ideanote does.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

The downsides are probably just the time it will take to become disciplined in using the platform, although I would still rather have the platform taking care and guiding me along our path of innovation than rely on keeping it together in my head or resorting to a Google Docs or Google Sheets!

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Use ideanote and follow the easy to use guides and you may just be able to implement a strategy you've been thinking about but not actioned!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We'll be able to more efficiently, more productively and more cost-effectively be able to shape and implement meaningful improvements in our business as a direct result of using ideanote.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amer A. | Growth Marketing Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The ability to capture new ideas from my clients and then improve on them using Ideanote.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I would like to see a chat function added to the product to allow for real-time exchange of thoughts and comments.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

I have not come across any other application that has been specifically been created for soliciting new business ideas and for constantly improving on the ideas in a team environment.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a digital marketing agency owner, I have telephone discussions with my clients every second month. I see these conversations as an opportunity to learn about the sales and marketing challenges that my clients face and to develop ideas together with them to help grow their business. Often, I develop ideas with my client but cannot complete the thought process in a single conversation and may have to wait another couple of months to talk again with the client. With Ideanote I can share the idea and develop and progress it with my client. Evey idea that I help the client with a service is a growth opportunity for my client as well as for my agency.

 ### 43. A well rounded tool that promotes best practices for evaluating and gathering ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samir S. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The best part of Ideanote is its simplicity.

The onboarding is excellent and the interface is straightforward to start compiling ideas. I was amazed at the speed at which I was able to get my first idea set up and send it across for user feedback. I like the way they have organized the workflow as it provides flexibility in conforming to the way you work making it easy to get started with the tool.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I think one place where Ideanote can help accelerate ideas further is by providing templates of ideas that have already been shown to be successful. This would help new users quickly formulate new ideas!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My main use case is gathering quick feedback on projects that I am currently working with clients. The ease provided by this tool saves me a tremendous amount of time while keeping all the ideas managed and organized in a central place.

 ### 44. Very Nice Tool for creative teams

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Things My team liked about Ideanote
1. The provision to have internal discussions.
2. We ditrubuted campaigns for each department , so support team didnt mix with teh dev team.
3. Easily onboarded users to the platform.
4. The design is premium so it is a nice to have it as a validation tool for my site

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

What we didnt like:
1. Onboarding external users was a bit confusing at first.
2. Load times can be improved.
3. More integrations required.
4. Provision of FAQ within the system to clear some recurring doubts could be useful.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

If you are a small team and soem creative work is involved in your day to day process I can suggest ideanote , The interface is easy to learn and you can take a multi- roadmap approach than hacing a monolithic page,.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a tool like canny but it seemed to be overkill for our purpose Ideanote fits right in , It has also become a great ideation centre for our content team. It has alos helped us in taking a mission based approach towards setting product roadmap , we haev huge discord community and we were trying ot find a way to cretae more user centric product development .

 ### 45. Great solution for open innovation

**Reviewed by:** Miquel E. | Deputy CEO. Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

Ideanote is a great tool for idea collaboration and open innovation.
It is a very easy-to-use platform for any user, and it is very straightforward to set-up and customize.
It fosters crowdsourcing to tap into the collective intelligence of your organization and generate inventive ideas.
Therefore, it is an engaging tool that helps create a continuous innovation culture that drives business-wide improvement.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I do not like anything but, in the future, it would be great that Ideanote includes some gamification techniques to make it even more engaging. Moreover, I think Ideanote should have a special pricing scheme for small companies.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

It is a great solution for open innovation.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to solve challenges in the area of digital innovation for the public sector. We are living in a technological revolution, and governments are struggling to adapt to the changes.
With solutions like Ideanote, we can harness the power of citizens and government officials' collective intelligence.

 ### 46. Nice idea management tool with feedback from others!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I always have so many ideas but they mostly get lost in my mac notes. So this is exactly what I was looking for ..24/7 searchable ideas/feedback and more. This is one of those tools that you will want to use for better feedback and suggestions from others. This is also very handy for my courses because I can get feedback from my students directly on any page. Love the embed option!! Super cool!!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

I can understand users have to sign up to create ideas but to leave feedback it's just unnecessary step. It'll be nice if it was one less step for users to just leave feedback on the ideas. Mobile app will be great for a tool like this. Other than this not much to dislike.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Idea visualizer.
Organizing Ideas.
Smoother way to receive feedback and Ideas from anyone.
Searchable ideas and feedback :)

 ### 47. Ideanote solves our idea innovation problem!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren L. | Co Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

We love the team behind ideanote and the problem they're solving. We're excited about the built-in features to collaborate and crowdsource the best ideas for our company. We've used it in our internal weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions. We've also successfully used to it to collaborate with clients at the outset of their design projects - much better workflow than what we're used to!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Nothing to dislike, but things I'd like to see improved: *No requirement for guests to sign up before contributing *More experiment features *More flexibility in the types of kanban sections we can add --- Thanks for being such a responsive team!

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Try it! It's a great experience and gives a lot of value

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal collaboration and much more expanded collaboration with our clients and their employees. We get so many more ideas than we did before which makes our end product better.

 ### 48. Best Way to Collect and Organize My Ideas and Ideas of Others I Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom W. | Principal Broker and Office Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I use ideanote both on my laptop and my phone. I am in real estate and always trying to come up with ideas that will accurately communicate the benefits I am able to offer based on the tools my Company offers and the experience I have. I am starting to grow a team and need a way to share ideas between team members. As I started to learn how to use ideanote I also found out that I can use this tool on my websites to get user feedback and improve customer service. I am excited about the many ways I can use this tool. Given the great experience I have had thus far, I look forward to going more in depth with the application of ideanote including the idea analytics.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Given that I purchased this application as a way to save, collaborate, and analyze ideas, nothing to dislike at this point. I access ideanote on my phone via web which is fine, but maybe a phone app would be a good future addition.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

I think of software like I think of people. The software has to think like you do. Don't risk losing those ideas that may solve today's and tomorrow's challenges. Get them organized and put them into action!

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideas are like paper money blowing in the wind. If you don't grab them when they float by, they just might be lost forever. Idea note helps me retain and organize ideas for future reference.

 ### 49. Great tool for both overview & insight

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

The overall concept is great: With teams, missions, ideas, and comments, all levels from the strategic view to granular detail are covered. And the "idea funnel" metaphor is very well implemented: Ideas can be rated in customisable ways to identify what's most worth pursuing and track what actually gets done. The interface is slick, self-explanatory and easily adaptable to your own brand. And it certainly helps to have motivational pictures on team missions with the integrated Unsplash image search. Overall: Great concept, very well implemented!

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

Only minor UX inconsistencies that will surely be streamlined as the software evolves. E.g., I'd love to have a collapse/expand option for a one page view of teams, missions, and ideas. Luckily, there's a chatbot for such feature requests that of course sends you to ideanote, so the developers are actually using their own tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Ideanote:**

Check it out! And: Begin team names with numbers to ensure teams are sorted in the way you want them to be.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly idea collection, sorting, rating, and keeping track. I plan to use it for crowd idea generation, too, but have so far only briefly checked out the features, which look promising, too. Even though I'm only a few days into using ideanote, it already helped a great deal with getting creative AND gaining clarity: Providing both inspiration to really think about how things could be improved, as well as smart, fluid ways to prioritise what's really going to create impact and what would just be nice to have. All in all: Very helpful for effectively organising innovation.

 ### 50. IdeaNote - perfect for a private studio piano teacher!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** s w. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Ideanote?**

I work as a private piano teacher. I try hard to constantly improve my services, to keep the clients I have, and to be first choice for new students.
I like the fact that Ideanote allows me to involve my students in coming up with new ideas, and improving features and services that I already provide.
It's also important to have a professional appearance. Many of the parents (and indeed adult students I teach) are professionals themselves. Any system that I use need to have a clean, professional, and easy to use layout - Ideanote excels in all these areas. It's important to me that from the first time you find me via a web search, that I look professional and engaged, and Ideanote will help with that more and more as I find new uses for it.
This is a chaotic time for the self-employed teacher - COVID-19 means that many of the practices that have been used in the past need to change, and involving parents and students in problem solving, and in seeing how I take their concerns seriously, will make them feel safer.

**What do you dislike about Ideanote?**

There aren't many negatives. I'm not a big enough user to use all the features Ideanote has.
I would really like a Dark mode - I'm often recording music in a dark studio, and the glaring white is a bit harsh in this situation.
And, a mobile app would be the icing on top to allow me to start ideas the instant I think about them.
Finally, someway to integrate with RocketBook - I carry a RocketBook with me everywhere, it would be great to be able to import things straight into Ideanote.

**What problems is Ideanote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment, I'm starting with using Ideanote to better cope with the changes my studio has had to undergo due to COVID-19. I think that the ability for students and parents to help shape decisions will be very beneficial for them and for me.
