I think the new cloud Q-pulse is great, with no use limits. The product also now has the ability to carry out audits and raise non-conformances and CAPA's while doing the audit, saving a lot of time and effort. I feel the time taken to implement new flow charts is time-consuming and can take effort. There are no set flow charts or examples from other users, which would be helpful.
You also can not set the flow chart for document review to another person if you are the author - there should be an if person wrote the document review should be person 1 or person 2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Q-Pulse is a user-friendly solution to store your QMS and guide you in meeting many of the clauses of a general standard such as 9001:2015. It provides our QMS with a single repository for all documents and removes much of the administrative burden of ensuring they remain up to date. Some actions could be simplified. They take three or four clicks to achieve, when it could be possible to do it in one. If the system could integrate with other systems it would be great, or a simple way of inputting multiple lines of data. Our customer services rep isn't very good at answering emails. Learning curve for people who are not use to technology driven programs. No paper involved, so you have to get everyone on board to use the product. Some may think it's confusing without proper training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software is helping us pursue a completely paperless environmental laboratory operation and automating a lot of the very clunky QA functions being done manually that make at least a few findings during an audit inevitable. There are some functions that have not yet been incorporated that would improve the functionality of this software. Firstly a customizable form generator such as Ideagen Smartforms (which we are also pursuing) but in a slimmed down format that helped support field operations would be ideal. Secondly while the workflows help automate approval and review routing the way in which it is designed doesn't support collaboration very well on its own. Its an empty shell when we bought it so during the sales path, it shows a slick system but when it arrives, everything needed to be built. We attempted to tie directly into sharepoint to be able to utilise our microsoft first user engagement but this didnt work so the biggest issue for me is Q-Pulse is a silo.
