The implementation and training process was amazing, being able to go through every aspect of the software and the one on one time to explain each area. The best in class flows are exactly what I need to get the general lab staff on board with this type of electronic process to improve efficiency and documenation within the laboratory. So far, I have not encountered much that I am dislike or am discouraged by. Knowing that the technical staff and help functions in the system are readily available make me feel confident in getting this implemented and sustainable in my lab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The idea of a centralized QM system is a good idea, and Ideagen sometimes gets things right. Sharing of id numbers is easy; back up systesm for records is the main reason we chose it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Links sent by email are not helpful as they do not open up the document/workflow from the email, you have to login, copy paste the id and search it yourself.
2. The search function is the weakest search tool I have ever used.
it will show you every workflow that has a document listed first before the actual manual you need.
3. Personnel function takes minutes to load sometimes(dialup slow), and you can’t search by employee number, have to ask HR every time I need to look up an employee number from an audit; not cool during an actual audit trying to show the customer training files.
4. Training Matrix does not allow us to export to csv/excel, does not show graphs or the completion percentage for each station.
5. The approved vendors list: The AVL status will show approved even after the vendor expires, this can cause users to think a vendor is approved, but is not, causing us to be out of compliance if a vendor is used.
6. Corrective Action Requests.
A. The description of the finding does not appear in the Managers side once approved by QA and does not appear until the later phases of the workflow.
B. A visual map at the top showing status of the CAR would help Interested Parties who do not deal with CARs often (think Pizza Tracker like pizza hut/dominos).
C. the font size is infinitesimally small vs the available room on the page. Also, the fields move around from one phase to the next, Root cause is at top on one page, then drops down below making it hard to find when referencing for Corrective action response in the next phase.
8. CORRECTIVE ACTION COLUM: cannot sort from inbox by station/customer, must search every time you need specific CAR.... Jeez!
9. Audits vs CARs.
A. When cars are created in the audit workflow, it does not keep track of the Qualtrax Id of the cars; this is super frustrating when doing research or providing objective evidence to customers/FAA.
B. When the audit is complete, you cannot see any of the reports, documents, information about the audit anymore. A separate report must be run to see some of the data. If this data is gone, it may cause us to be out of compliance with records retention requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to have all my product specs in one place and share them with customers is a boon to my business and to customer relations. I find QADEX easy to use, and the service staff are very helpful indeed if I do need to call them with a query. I'm a regular user, and the interface is easy to understand and, based on the complexity of creating specifications for food, very comprehensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the system will freeze - make sure you have a good internet connection! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
EQMS has been a revolution for myself and my business. The ease of use and ready access on comptuer, tablet or phone is a major selling point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunatley the no supply of a 'cancelled' option for audits, means a higher amount of admin is required than usually required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User friendly structure that (so far) meets our Quality requirements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The modules don't integrate with each other Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This software is easy to use for managing documents and the help guide makes creating new workflows easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The document revision process does not allow for easy colaboration during a revision. A user must check a document in and change the editor for another person to apply input. Also a document change log (to note future revisions needed) could be benificial to the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support you recieve is great, lots of quick help and a willingness to work through problems. The software is very flexable with a high degree of customisation available and is robust when set up correctly. Our radiochemistry provision heavily relies on this software to do their work. The version we use was quite labour intensive to set up. It isn't always user friendly with a sometimes unintuative UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is one of the best tools for Accreditation management. In our organization, we have to accredit the hospitals for the patient care. In that, we use this tool to help the hospital to comply the standards and best practices of what they need to do. We wanted a tool for customers that is customer friendly and have a pleasant experience using this and we chose to go with this Qualtrax as it has all the features one could need for the accreditation - be it a documentation management, process related - this tool serves everything. One of the important highlight of this product alert the customers when they failed to meet the standard or som exceptions. So they can track and address them efficiently. Without addressing the issues, the hospitals cannot be accredited. It is a great compliance tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First time learning curve. Although the tool is easy to use. Our organization customers are not technically savvy to understand the system easily enough at least for the first time. This requires some training until users feel comfortable using the product.
Another note of the product is that we also have learning courses offered to the respective hospital courses. We don't have a direct way to include this feature with in the tool. We have to manage that in a different tool and then link to Qualtrax.
Brand customization was also challenging. It was not easily customizable specific to company's brand Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is an easy way to track our quality system documents with revisions and verifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The initial training was fantastic, but the follow up trainings that we purchase are not up to par with our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
