They have a very helpful team who are ready to answer all of our queries to ensure our business gets what we want out of their services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that we dislike about Ideagen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good as a central repository for keeping all documentation in one place. Specs are clear with a well thought out layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system needs a better change management facility where changes can be clearly reported. Specs can be too large if not correctly built at the start of the process. Imported to be concise and to the point and not get carried away with too many questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a Manager of a busy IT support team, I love how our Ideagen Quality Management instance was easy to deploy and well supported in very complex enterprise IT environment. It was straight-forward to separate our web/front-end and backend database tiers to enable IT to separately manage and appropriately size the environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't perceive too many downsides. Ideagen Quality Management has become a critical quality management application to support the risk management needs of the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system is simple to use and easy to navigate through differenet modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike about the Quality Management System. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software has various modules and is configurable to your liking. You can customise the workflow to your preferences and have the ability to build forms and templates yourself. It also has an easy access management module.
You can also set up workflows for stages with different actions depending on the workflow you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software lacks a proper reporting application for operational staff. In addition, there is no suitable place for administering safety impact risk assessments in line with aviation regulations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Workflows are easy to maneuver through and easy enough to re-configure once you have practice/training. Reporting functions allow for detailed data analysis so we can implement improvements throughout the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The routing for email actions can sometimes be confusing. Also, data clean-up can be cumbersome during mass changes. Configuring new workflows is cumbersome because of the custom fields settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The web app is great; it looks modern and is easy to use. The dashboard feature is really useful and much easier to navigate the desktop app report designer.
The training academy is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The web app does not have all the functionality of the desktop app, but the desktop app is outdated both in its functionality and the look and feel
Reporting is difficult to use, and without an API which has not worked due to an error at Ideagen since we went live 10 months ago, getting data out is extremely complicated.
Dates are is US format and cannot be changed, this results in client complaints.
The training academy, whilst helpful, needs more content as only basic training is included. It would be helpful to have the training courses delivered as part of the implementation on there.
A Primary license is needed for simple functions that you'd expect a secondary license holder to be able to do for example, adding the costs of incidents (CA/PA's) which has resulted in us having to employ an admin person to complete this information on behalf of the teams.
The customer service from Ideagen is extremely poor - response times are slow, errors that are the responsibility of Ideagen are not fixed promptly or even within their own SLA's.
The recent upgrade was promised to us in July and delivered in October Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the most helpful thing about Ideagen QMS is the ability to track all of our quality system in one place. Our laboratory has created a number of custom workflows to fit our needs. This has helped in tracking corrective actions, internal audits, PT samples, training sign offs, and many more. The report feature has also made our audits a breeze to pull information on the spot. I don't think there are many downsides to using Ideagen QMS. There are a few features we would like to see developed to make processes easier and look forward to hopefully seeing these developed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An electronic quality management system that takes away the human error of a paper based system. IQM allows us to keep a single repository of quality records, from deviations, supplier accreditation, quality audit to equipment management, it provides a user friendly way of storing data, accessible to all within the working group. Ideagen Quality Management sometimes lags in the first instance of uploading an attachment to a record, however this time is very minimal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
