It has also gone wrong for no apparent reason, and the support team couldn't tell me why it had happened either. They did manage to fix it though, which was encouraging. I've had the bewildering experience of upgrading from v6 to v7, for which the written instructions were wholly inadequate - even the support team agreed there was absolutely no way anyone could ever accomplish this without a great deal of support. There was a problem with that too - the support team was pretty over-stretched, resulting in many calls to them which were duly logged and I was promised someone would call me back, but nothing was ever heard so I had to call again (and again, and again!) **What problems is Ideagen Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** QMS. I began implementation of the software as a beginner and have since expanded use and training to 3 different divisions in our program. Each division has unique needs that Qualtrax easily expands to include. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** No ability to automatically send a "read and understand" test with a new document. Moving from paper-based to electronic management is made extremely simple and the user interface is highly approachable for even the technology neophytes in your organization. I have heard horror stories of multi-year implementations of other QMS systems, but we implemented document management in a couple months start to finish. Workflows require a higher level of learning to fully take advantage, but allow very powerful configuration once you understand how to build them. They also offer best-in-class templated workflows, so you can start immediately leveraging workflows while you build that skillset. Cost is competitive and was reasonable for our organization size, as well as allowing for scale up when we need it. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** If you need a fully/highly customizable solution at large enterprise scale, this may not be the QMS for you. Not so much a flaw as a direction and target of the product, since the more customization you allow of the basic functionality, the more difficult things become to actually implement. Users can access necessary information easily. Workflows are wonderful for tracking information. Using the Qualtrax Cloud, I can access all of my information from home as needed without having to be in the office. The system has significantly reduced paper usage, saving time and money. **What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Management?** There are a couple of functions that I would like to see added in the future, such as e-signatures. Once the work product is complete, it is uploaded to the case file. Having controlled, electronic case files allows any of our analysts to view them and, as we came to find out during the pandemic shutdown, they had full remote access. Our productivity while remote exceeded my expectations thanks to Qualtrax. The workflows capture all information needed during a process (who, what, when, where, why) and we can query and report on them for management.
