This software has made completing AS9152 and PPAP dimensional reports exceptionally straightforward. The output is always tidy and well-organized, and making updates or changes is consistently simple. It has saved me a significant amount of time, especially when handling design record updates or comparing different parts and revisions. In my experience, it is far superior to Visual FAIR or Discus, both of which I have used in the past. I have been using ldeagen Quality Management (Inspection Xpert) regularly—often several times a month—since 2017, and I have truly appreciated the excellent customer support and the way new features have been introduced to address my changing requirements. I value the software so highly that I have actually persuaded four different companies to adopt it. In my view, it is currently the best software available for this particular purpose. One of my primary concerns with this software is the lack of significant updates over the past four years. The OCR component still has persistent bugs that are difficult to fix, and the OCR library itself remains quite limited in what it can do. Although updating the library appears technically feasible, there is a noticeable absence of guidance or support to help users through the process. Support for building or modifying Excel-based templates using tokens is also very limited. These factors together make deployment and implementation challenging. Since 2021, I have not seen any substantial improvements or meaningful new features added to the software. Furthermore, the recent move to a new business model that now charges for deployment or integration support is a major departure from my earlier experiences with the software, or from the way Jeff Cope managed things when the company was still based in Raleigh, NC. What I like most about Ideagen Quality Control is its ease of use combined with how quickly it was able to adapt to our organization. We were able to configure and deploy it without extensive customization or disruption to existing workflows, making the transition smooth and practical. Ideagens's support was also great getting when we were getting this going. One standout feature has been the PDF comparison capability. The tolerance recognition is not always accurate. The issue is largely driven by the variability and quality of customer-supplied drawings, which includes inconsistent fonts, varying symbols, and misaligned or poorly formatted text. In these cases, the software may the process requires manual review or adjustment to ensure tolerances are input correctly.

I appreciate how much easier it is to create documents and initial articles with this tool compared to my previous process. In the past, I had to manually input all the information into an Excel sheet and fill everything out by hand. Some of the things that are more helpful is the integration to manage all the documentation for the PFMEA, NCMR and CAPA's. In my medical company this is very important. The customer support is amazing, they reply in short time. Is ease to use after a few weeks. I have been using this for a year and its been great. While trying to edit the method libary I was having diffaculties finding where to do it, I emailed Ideagon and was giving precise dicretion on how to navigate to the correct space to do what was needed. As the new quality control person with responisibility of Ballooning prints Ideagon is very easy to use for someone with limited computure knowledge.
