The idea behind having plant documentation readily accessible on line to check and verify everything is in place before machines come to site is a big plus. Knowing plant is subject to regular servicing and has current Plant Risk Assessments and service history goes along way in ensuring we are compliant as a business. The costs associated with Sub-Contractor's using the system, alot of feedback is they dont feel they get value for money and do it purely because we mandate it unless dispensation is given i.e. the Sub-Contractor uses as an alternate system that works the same way. Being able to find machines in the system can be difficult and frustrating, especially when they are not using the Registration number or plant ID number which is easy to obtain. Sub-Contractors can sometimes struggle to share and make machines visible to us, especially when hiring machines in from another party. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
