Favorite thing is ease of use and ability to customize. Liberal content guidelines allows much more freedom than "stricter" systems with overbearing restrictions. I have been using this product for 10+ years any although it keeps improving it never gets over re-vamped to the point where I have to re-learn the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EMAIL DELIVERABILITY - It is now much more Herculian to get newsletters to deliver successfully into the inbox of email users, as email providers are continuously getting better at protecting their users from spam mails.While this is a good development ,it has had some effect on the deliverability rate of newsletters. However,we have stuck with Icontact for the past three year period ,and its email to inbox delivery rate is very much impressive ; giving us the conviction that our newsletter will continually hit our target recipient inbox.
POWER OF CUSTOMIZATION : Icontact has provided us with the freedom to freely customize our newsletters.We are able to customize and modify everything and anything we deem fit for customization. Padding , colour , font etc
MOBILE FIRST : As much as some of my colleagues at work tend to want to disagree, the world has become a mobile first world,and our Icontact analytics has proven that continuously. Therefore it is important that newsletters we send to our emailing list , are perfectly compatible with their smartphone OS and screen size. Icontact needs to improve on its integration capabilities.We use Microsoft dynamics as our Customer Relationship management program at my workplace. However , we are unable to integrate it with our icontact. Which if it was doable ,would open a new door of opportunities to our marketing team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to use and provides great functionality. I recommend it to all my friends and colleagues over the other products on the market. How iContact doesn't require contacts to confirm they want to be on a list. Staff also answer questions quickly when you need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is terrible and needs a lot of work before it's user-friendly. It's very difficult to change our templates without knowing code. Doing anything different in the template also messes up the whole thing. You can only "undo" something if you press a button in the iContact designer. Fixing problems requires looking at the code. I like to send out a test / sample email for the staff to review from the software. I wish I could just send the email to an individual rather than create a new contact list. Also, the idea of creating templates, or editing emails that you've sent or are working on isn't the most intuitive. I click on an old email campaign and it takes me to the results rather than the email itself. I either have to edit, or copy and reuse to review the email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of selecting all or just some contact lists for individualized messages. Formatting is easy, and you can switch seamlessly between HTML and Design mode while working on your message. Customer service has always been very responsive anytime I have had a problem or question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest complaint has been fixed (the ability to select all lists at once when applicable), so I have no dislikes to offer! The one thing I wish I could do is edit images within the document if the sizing is not quite right, but for now, I edit outside the application and hope it works when inserted.
