Apart from the fact that I market my digital products more easily, Icontact Pro allows us to obtain a free 30-day trial to start email marketing campaigns, something that other software does not allow. What do you like best about iContact?

The ease of use and the amount of help/advice they're able to provide. The customer service is fantastic. With the help of our strategic advisor, we've have great success in e-marketing: lowering our compliant rate, raising our open rates, and putting out a good product that keeps people engaged! And we don't get blocked by major email service providers because our compliant rate is low. The software is easy to use and has great customization from creating your own email and lists to scheduling emails in advanced. There's also the option to integrate via their API and automatically upload leads in real time which is a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iContact?

The new iContact dashboard is very nice and responsive but since it is new, you can find some bugs in the system. I'm sure this will get resolved soon so this isn't a big issue. We're always able to send our emails so that's the most important thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our whole email marketing campaign has benefited from this causing our company to succeed. Complaints have gone done and our open rates have gone up. iContact provides great advice whether you're just starting out in e-marketing or have been doing this a long time. What do you like best about iContact?

The software is easy to use and offers enough flexibility to get our messaging out to our residents.

Rapid distribution is helpful, particularly when time is of the essence- as in an announcement that is time sensitive.

At our business, we appreciate the timed releases, simple platform, and easy-to-access data following an email release.

It's easy to use as long as you don't try to get creative. I also like that you can copy a previous email and use it as a template for a new email - much quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iContact?

I would like to see more seamless integrations with other software and extensions, such as a text-to-join feature.

There are UI areas in the software that can be improved. The creation and management of segments needs to be easier.

Limited framework of colors, boxes, etc. The former software had more flexibility in layout. When the changeover was made, the help desk was booked a week out.

The one thing I wish I could do is edit images within the document if the sizing is not quite right. If they can ever get this functionality going, it will be perfect! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iContact solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes my life loads easier. I can use my graphic design abilities to make eye catching emails and that intrigues people which leads them to want more information about our church. I can whip up an email in less than half the time it took prior to contracting with iContact. Also, being able to call customer support and rarely have to be on hold is a benefit along with the support coming from people who are easy to talk to, who converse as real people rather sounding mawkish.

What do you like best about iContact?

What do you like best about iContact?

The functionality was serviceable at best, but their billing and customer service department is trained to not communicate with you personally on billing disputes. They have one employee who handles that for them but you can only contact her by email. Unethical Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iContact?

I told their billing team that we only wanted the service for one month of campaigns for a event we were hosting, but they did not cancel our service and continued to charge us for the year or so that we did not even know we had. Tried to put the blame on us for not canceling ourselves, and they essentially refused to reimburse us for the monthly charges that they were auto charging to the card on file. They said that they did not have any record of the request so they could not do anything about it. There was not activity on the account from when I told them to cancel the service. After multiple calls and a month or two of back and forth within their team, they finally credited back 2 months which was insulting to say the least. No recorded calls, no ownership, and zero empathy to someone in my situation.

Don't go here for email marketing! There are plenty of services that are way better than them. RUN!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about iContact?

I like that it allows us to try the software during the first 30 days totally free and without requesting payment methods, apart from contacting the support by phone call and the attention was unique. iContact allows us to create emails quickly in just minutes, with just drag and you can attach guides, forms and images, additionally it is not required to know codes for use, it is a great work tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iContact?

I do not like the design of the interface very much because it is very clear and I almost do not distinguish the buttons and the menus, however it is not a very alarming evil and they can improve it with a redesign. What do you like best about iContact?

The account portal is neatly designed and works well in most of the web browsers I use. I like that iContact is the type of service that takes care of all the heavy backend processes that comes along with signups and email blasts. There is a wide selection of professional and properly formatted email templates for us to choose from. We can edit email even further to suit our needs. What do you dislike about iContact?

I think the pricing for iContact's Pro Automation is a rather high. Though we can connect iContact to other platforms, integrating them can be somewhat complicated. I would recommend iContact for any business that wants a simple and powerful email newsletter solution. If used with proper targeting and marketing copy, iContact can be extremely valuable. We've benefited from iContact's ability to automated contact signups and mass email distribution. We don't have to worry as much about SPAM and other email policies since iContact emails are generally formatted and distributed within most guidelines.
