I have seen iclicker develop from a physical clicker to a software with a mobile app. This software can be used for attendance, surveys and quizzes. I like that it allows individuals to discretely answer questions and have their opinions heard. The nice thing is, they can instantly see results, which helps with quizzes. Registration is quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The actual iclicker itself is slightly pricey and if a student forgets the clicker, however, they can be reused. Unfortunately, if the student forgets the physical clicker - they cannot participate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked that iclicker provided instant feedback for professors to gauge how their students were learning material they were lecturing on Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t dislike anything about the product. Besides otherwise, in college the price was in the higher end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that you have to sign up for this and make an account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It allows me to quickly take formative assessments throughout class while also providing a quick way for attendance to be reported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to see more options for displaying results (I.e. various graphs and charts). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is very easy to use and flexible and contains a lot of nice integration points with our LMS. The support for the product was excellent and the range of settings offered was very nice in accommodating our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration is LTI instead of building block which takes a little bit more setup. We had a few hiccups but it was related to our testing on our staging instance and once we engaged support we were able to get everything sorted out and up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best is how you can immediately see the distribution of the responses. A plot appears on the screen that shows how many people chose each response. It is best utilized in the academic setting, as a way to keep students engaged. It can also be used in the business setting, if a presenter wanted to keep the crowd engaged. However, for uses other than academic, I would probably use the cellphone based version, or another online polling service, to avoid having to purchase the physical iclickers. Iclicker isn't always the best method for quiz administration because some students may not be able to answer the question as quickly as other students, and you have to go through the questions one-by-one so professors tend to rush through the questions, not giving all students enough time to think about the question. Iclicker, the program itself is great, but can be used improperly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The data is immediate. iClickers are great for interactive presentations or in a classroom setting. I've also used them in training situations for live-response quiz questions to gauge the level of understanding and thought that was very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The registration process can be a bit of a pain in the butt, but not a deterrent really. Not sure if they can be pre-registered for users if being used in a business setting. I have not used the app so comment on what that is like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love iClicker because it is so easy to use in class. You can use it for attendance, see where everyone is at on a particular subject, or to make sure people are paying attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t like that it’s kind of difficult to figure out how to link the actual clicker to your account and register multiple classes to one account. I also don’t like that each class has a different frequency so you have to remember which class has which frequency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
