The contract authoring features and the search features to the Icertis tool suite really allow the various stakeholders to fully take advantage of the tool suite. Whether you are on the procurement team, legal team or commercial management team you will be able to search for key risk issues and deliverables. We are looking forward to seeing the impact of the AI features for vendor contract reviews.
The software is very helpful in finding and reporting on key attributes in the legacy contracts. Once the information is in the system, you will no longer have to do large "contract review" sessions to find out what was agreed to previously. You can just run a report on the areas that are concerning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The contract approval processes can get way too granular if you are not careful. There can be a number of loops and approvals that are required if stakeholders are not willing to delegate approval authority during the negotiation process. Additionally the email communications in the tool are quite chatty especially if you leave all of them on.
The downsides of the Icertis tool is that as it stands it does not fix broken processes in the contract review and approval process. And if the implementation team does not get the authority to improve the processes. Icertis will just replicate broken and inefficient processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best feature that we saw in the ICM is as follows: 1st: Clause comparison/Deviation, currently in Philippines most of Legal department reviews the whole contract manually thus it takes too long to review and can affect the end-user's SLA to publish the contract to the vendor. 2nd Readily contract template, since templates has already been reviewed and finalized by the Legal this fasten the processing on authoring a contract. 3rd is Version control/QR code, in a manual contract mostly all signatories needs to put their initials per page in order to secure authenticity thus it is also additional work for the signatories but with the ICertis help it each contract document has its own QR code and can be check thru phone with this the signatories safely signed in the last page of the contract. It is our first time purchasing a contract management system, We still don't know the downside of the system since what we experience is that the ICertis Contract Management Software is flexible and can accommodate all our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The correct on the fly for the rules and the ability to handle third paper. I like that I can update rules with little system interruption. System is stable. System is very customizable. I enjoy that I can make user-feedback modification in short order, keeping the system reflective of the current environment and increasing user adoptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Week e-signature integration in comparison with the strength of the overall tool. Almost everything can be done on the fly except Contract Types. Woudl like bulk uploading to be easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our company implemented the Icertis platform on 12th July, 2019. It has completely transformed our CLM process. Icertis is the new Contract Life Cycle Management System at Mindtree. Where end-to-end process of contract starting from raising of request by AMs & BDMs to Legal review to execution of contract, whole process will be taken place in this tool. It is a very robust and powerful cloud-based contract management system. It is the management of agreements and Obligation Management. Contracts with customers, vendors, partners or any stakeholders of an organization. It is the process of systematically and efficiently managing contract creation, execution and analysis for maximizing financial and operational performance and minimizing risk.
This would mean that there would be defined and established timelines for each step in the Contract Life cycle management, thus providing an accurate audit trail for update of obligation fulfill. These, in turn, provide for the efficient governance of organizational rules and demonstrates accountability. This ensures centralized repository of all contracts with agility and speed in review, closure and tracking of contracts and the obligations management therein. Overall, it is a great tool! Price of the product and new functionality price needs to be competitive as per market best price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's extremely convenient to have all contracts in a central location for different aspects of the business to be able to refer to easily. The actual contract initiation workflow is also quite useful, as it eliminates some of the guesswork when contracts are being sent back and forth via email. Want to know at exactly what point in the process your contract is? Done! No more uncertainty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface of the application itself leaves something to be desired. It's possibly one of the worst modern SaaS applications I've seen in this regard. They should seriously consider hiring a few UX designers to reduce some of the learning curve due to the clunkiness of the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like having all of my contracts together in one place and the ability to track them in a concise way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some aspects of the program are difficult to work with and too many clicks to do an action. Changing some of the attributes and other defined terms are time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Automated modular clauses feature is very efficient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Amount of work to input contracts. This could be better automated with AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Single source of truth for all contracts. Entire review cycle is recorded in the system including exception approvals and reasons behind them. Way "Clause library" and "Metadata" is implemented is really good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Following are the issues I see in the tool:
1) UI is not very intuitive. For example, would have preferred the name of the button to be "Submit", instead of "Review". End users of the tool are not very familiar with Legal terminologies all the time, they find it a little difficult to interpret some of the UI terminologies.
2) Need more out of the box reports. Basic reports like TAT have to be out of box
3) Need better implementation team, a BA has to lead the discussion
4) Need more flexible licensing modules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
iCertis intuitively designed dashboard interface supports the ease of use and surfacing critical data points instantaneously. This simplification of standard complexities in the contracting process removes barriers for better team performance. iCertis complements product usability with a highly responsive support staff that resolves the most troubling problems quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The iCertis platform is slightly more restrictive for companies to provide internal support for Tier 1 and 2 issues. Including iCertis support services is recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of ICM is the scalability. Additionally, our Icertis account team partners with us on system enhancements and updates as our needs change and evolve. It is a holistic solution that is very important for an organization of any scale. Centralized document location, electronic signature, compatibility with MS Word. Nothing like not liking Enhancements can take some time to be completed, depending on the coding involved. Part of this is due to our own habits and internal processes to provide documents to our clients. Lack of speed, lack of confidence when uploading and downloading documents, and maintaining changes.
