What problems is Icecat solving and how is that benefiting you?

Icecat supports the sales assistants and the KAMs in various tasks that were very time-consuming and with limited added value.

Such as sending specific assets to clients, filling up retailer templates or inputing retailer platforms.

The operational team works in a timely manner and efficiently.

As manafacturing vendor, we do have a lot of SKU, and also updates very fast, we do need to solve the problem, how to transfer the SKU information to our partners smoothly. With unified format and rich content, ICECAT help us to upload all the necessary information of all the SKUs, and our partners can smoothy sync up, that is really helpful! "The only program to complete all product fields"

What do you like best about Icecat?

There is no doubt about the infinite possibilities provided by icecat to complete all product fields. In the free version, the support is really excellent and there are really many products available. All you need is an excellent and functional connector to import all the necessary product fields into your ecommerce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Icecat?

The price of the program is really too high. I admit that the free license does quite a bit, but could the developers of the program lower the price of the full version and reduce the support for the free version to allow everyone to purchase the full version at an acceptable price. There are no other programs on the internet that do what icecat does. I would say it is the only truly functional program in its field. If you don't want to use icecat, then I don't think you will find a better program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Product entry speed! Possibility to manage many new products. A lot of time and resources saved! It would have taken months to upload all the info that Icecat allows you to upload in a few hours. Moreover, how can you update without Icecat? It would be really impossible to search for updated info for each product, while with Icecat this is done automatically! "Great program for product data sheets in an ecommerce."

What do you like best about Icecat?

I approached Icecat when a client tasked me with entering 40,000 products into their ecommerce site, having only SKY and EAN. I thought it was an impossible task, but with Icecat, I really managed to do it in no time at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Icecat?

I was only able to try the free version. I'm still waiting for information on the cost of the full version. Many manufacturers have their products on Icecat in the free version, but there are still many, many that have products that can only be accessed in the full version. Recommendations to others considering Icecat:

First of all, search for the products on the Icecat website. This way, you will see first and get an idea of how many products are present in the free catalog. Then, if you have an e-commerce, Icecat obviously requires an integrator on your online shop. There are many of them, and they start from 150 euros. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Icecat solving and how is that benefiting you?

We did a year's worth of work in just 3 days! Incredible time savings! Various fields of the technical sheets, as well as the title and description, have been completed! I must admit, a job done to perfection!

"The best system for integrating technical sheets and photos for your products."

What do you like best about Icecat?

Icecat is really comprehensive. No product is missing! I tried to search for the unthinkable but I always found it. Even products that have been on the market for just a few months are available! The quality of the data is excellent, as is the availability of photos and photo galleries. I use the product upload and update function in XML, which compared to others is the best and fastest method. I bought an Icecat integrator for my e-commerce that connects via user and password to Icecat and allows me to download all the data for all my products starting from the product code. What do you dislike about Icecat?

The costs of the program are quite high. I understand that in the free version you can have everything you need at no cost, but for the full version, the costs are really high. Perhaps it would be better to have smart monthly subscriptions for just a few areas of interest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Icecat, I have solved every problem related to the insertion of new products in my e-commerce. It is literally unthinkable to imagine uploading 10,000 new products to your store and then uploading for each one the title, description, short description, photo, gallery, technical sheet, and manufacturer.
