I love how iCal talks to Apple Maps; whenever you add to your calendar and add a location, calendar and maps automatically sync up. You can see your next destination on the map within the Calendar app. I love this, because I don't have to separately open Maps and plug in my destinations, because Calendar does it for me! Personally, there aren't too many downsides; it's simple and sleek. When I open the app on my phone, the appointments, destinations and notes are all laid out. I can see everything I had planned. I'd say the only downside is that you are you're supposed to put a start time and end time; I really do not like how the end time shifts when you change the start time. (I.e. If I have an appointment from 2pm-3pm and I change the start time to 2:15, iCal automatically shifts the end time to 3:15, which is not correct.) I wish they would just stay stagnant! It's so weird, I do not know how to fix it. Maybe in system settings? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is simple to use and has a really great user interface - simple, clean, clear and easy on the eyes!
Does everything I need including manage my personal, family and work calendars. I'd be lost without it.
The widgets on my other apple devices are also great to get a quick snap shot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downsides at all I aboslutely lve it and its the only calendar I've used in 15 years! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It natively interacts with my Mac when needing to save appointments from emails or messages. The notifications on my Mac with options to interact without opening the app also is a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not simple to subscribe to external calendars but it is possible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is free, easy to use, lightweight, and can be integrated with the mail app. Apple offers customer support on all products, but I haven't had any issues. It's easily implemented into life / your computer as well if you own multiple products. I do see daily frequency use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It gets cluttered easily, and it cannot easily send invites. It's good for being free though. But for business I would reccomend something more robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I am able to connect it to all of my devices. It's easy to create meetings and see them on not only my devices but also other calendars that I have synced to it. I use it everyday and wouldn't change a thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much, sometimes it defaults to one of my profiles that I wasn't intending to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I like about iCal is its seamless integration across Apple devices. I have an Iphone and MacBook Air... and the ability to automatically sync meetings and reminders wherever I am has allowed me to stay organized and prompt on my daily tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about iCal is, if I were to switch devices to a windows or android I'd have limited collaboration capabilites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I know it might look very simple at first, but it's actually a great substitute and an all-in-one calendar for all your needs. It can integrate with literally any calendar there is and the best part it works seamlessly across devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Might be a bit too simple, but that's Apple's philosophy I guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, easy to integrate and thanks to iCloud it connects across my devices, multiple calendars and features. LOVE IT. I use it every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. I really like using iCal across all my Apple devices Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ICal syncs across devices and has a simple, fast interface to quickly add, update meeting days and times. The added feature of being able to send invitations to other attendees is seemless and allows for additional ease of use. The ability to color code work meetings from personal meetings is an excellent feature. The ability to set yearly and recurring reminders allows for longer term planning and organization. Multiple view options are also useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user experience is excellent and there's nothing to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that you can automatically add things to repeat as a reoccurring event and how accessible it is across all devices. I'm able to keep track of home life, business, leisure- everything in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is being picky, but knowing what day you created an event because sometimes you do things in a fast manor and you'll find things in there that you don't remember putting in or could have been scheduled on the wrong day. Maybe having a feature that tells you this note was created on this day and time just in case you need a reference point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
