What do you like best about IBM Datacap?
Functionally Datacap has everything you could possibly need. A strong OCR engine and multiple functions as well as customisable rules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM Datacap?
The software is, dated, to put it politely. There is little online support and there are quirks which you can only really find out through trial and error. Something's just don't work as they should, but there are tricks to get them to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Datacap?
The system is very easy to use and has support on the backend from the company to help install the system to work with your ERP system and it also can handle paper scanning and EDI in process from the frontend to the backend. Datacap makes extracting important information from business documents extremely easy and intuitive. Its unique design allows it to automatically identify the necessary content from documents so you no longer have to go through manually with a highlighter looking for the information that you need. What do you like best about IBM Datacap?
Being able to extract data from all content and creating searchable pdfs has been a game changer for our business processes. We are able to populate other systems, kicking off other business processes while then utilizing the searchable pdfs in the future for end users to quickly search for text within the documents. Ease of upgrading from version to version and the development environment has great debugging tools to use to quickly and articulatly get to the end result quickly. The product has emense logging of the processes as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love how this works with all our systems. We have had the best experience with this product, based on comparisons with other similar brands.
