IBM API Connect is a single API Management solution where it provides the high security, easy to develop the APIs, we can publish the APIs to socialize. IBM API Connect will be integrated with IBM DataPower Gateway where it will acts as gateway which provides high securtiy where it will be acts as a proxy. In the latest version of API Connect the advanced features are released where we can discover the APIs before moving to API lifecycle and we can governance the APIs using API & Product level rulesets.

Its a one stop shop that allows us to create, manage and secure our application API's in the on-prem cloud or to other vendors like GCP, AWS. I found the neat little virtual machine appliance easy to deploy on our on-prem infrastructure and quick to get up and running. What I like the most is the analytics and API lifecycle management because it is easy to use and the data syncronization as well as testing and tracking from one place.
