Documentation could be a little more user-friendly. In some cases, the documentation doesn't exist or is limited. Once you get used to how things are discussed on the main website, you can navigate bugs and documentation a little easier. What problems is Drupal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Drupal allows you to build a platform/website that meets your client's needs and future goals. The CMS is very flexible, so you don't need to design around its features. It provides simple building blocks that allow developers to build unique structures in a standardized way. The Twig templating system is easy to learn, powerful and fast. The ability to connect to the CMS with an API (headless) unlocks its potential for other mediums and different approaches to front-ends and deployment (ie. SPA, static sites, etc). "Recommending Drupal"

I have used drupal for a variety of eCommerce projects. In 2020, I used Commerce distribution of Drupal 8 to set up e-commerce for a milk/dairy products' company.

Overall experience was good, but while integrating payment gateway with Payu, I did face several stumbling blocks. Except for this, all other aspects like views, setting up rules/actions have been enjoyable.

I got some unofficial code for payu payment gateway and it turned out to be buggy. I had to search a lot to fix bugs myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Drupal?

What do you dislike about Drupal?

Drupal offers the fastest way to develop and test new business ideas on the web. It is very pocket-friendly as you don't have to spend a lot buying plugins everytime you need some features or develop workflows for your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Drupal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Now that Drupal 9 has been released, I am a bit concerned that payment gateway integration would be even more painful. Commerce integration with drupal 8 itself caused some stress already though other features in drupal have always tempted me.

I still feel drupal is still the most efficient way to try out some ideas/workflows on the web and launch a business model based on that quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Drupal?

It followed really good PHP doctrines and wasn't loose like Wordpress Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
