I can literally mark up a .pdf in any way that I would a book, save the markups electronically, and then even email the markups to myself with page numbers identified. I can also connect to Dropbox where i have my research texts stored so that the app gives me access to thousands of pages of my research. It's very easy to use -- I select the text, select the tool, and then make sure I have the range of text selected. I expect to be using it almost every day as I'm starting a new research project. I came back to it today after not using it for awhile and the Dropbox access was a bit non-intuitive. I expected it to map Dropbox. It works great if I start in Dropbox and then export to iAnnotate, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
