## Huntress Managed EDR Reviews
  ### 1. Best Security Services Streamed line for MSP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman S. | President & CTO @ REMSIS Managed IT Services & IT Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We love the fact Huntress implements with Microsoft Defender as well as other conventional AV Solutions. Very happy that Channel Manager and support repressentitives are in the US. Services are easy to understand and very well streamed lined.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We are a small MSP and just starting, so the minimum of 50 endpoints/users on all their Services prevents us to sign up for some of the other Huntress Services.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is helping us going through all the daily noice when it comes to Threat Protection so we can focus on other parts of our business.

  ### 2. A Tale of 2 MDR

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I love the ease of use and how easy it was to integrate with our PSA and RMM platforms. For such a feature rich platform it is very cost ffective.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

One downside is that it doesn't integrate with our End Point Protection choice

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is helping us protect our clients data by having round the clock monitoring.

  ### 3. Huntress is an amazing product. I however wanted to know if a feature existed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We do not have enough time for me to go over all the reasons Huntress is the best. But, They are responsive - a live person on the other end of any communication option you choose. The product just works. I had been trying to get my company to sign with Huntress for YEARS. Finally, I was at a point where I kept seeing things happening, that I knew huntress would stop. I pitched it again, and a short few days later we had a trial setup. Fast forward another week and we had 2500+ agents. Its so easy to use, and its just in plain english. I don't need to stare at some code printout to find my answer. Its available to me in english, and in real time. The fact they are SO fast to shut accounts down is amazing. We had a few people get phished. Hacker logged in and Huntress saw the suspicious IP and locked the account down and notified us via phone call. It happened so quickly the attacker was not able to get in and continue the phishing scheme by sending out emails. Stopped in its track before any more damage was done.
This alone is worth partnering with Huntress. Add in the rest of what they offer and its a no brainer.
If you are on the fence. Just do it. I can gurantee you will not regret it.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

So far I have not found a single thing that I dislike. I have found a few things though that I think would be "nice to haves" but are not a part of the Huntress platform yet. But support is very responsive and will ask you to please submit a feature request. This alone way better than any other vendor I have come across.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can list alot. But I will stick with what I see to be the most 2 important so far.
Huntress scans files on a PC/Server etc. What it looks for though goes way beyond what most products are looking for. It has found buried files that contain words or other factors that it deems as needing to be encrypted. Such as a document labelled "Passwords" or something like that. This is an amazing feature that I didn't know I needed. We have a curated note we have sent out to folks who get reported to us by huntress to either encrypt it, move it off of the PC/Server, or get rid of it all together.
The other thing I am ecstatic about is the 365 integration. We recently had a phishing attempt at a client of ours. 4 users were phished, and within moments of users clicking the link, and attacker trying to sign in. Huntress noticed this was suspicious and disabled the account and notified us with a phone call right away. The fact they are able to stop this phishing attempt is enough for me to partner with Huntress. Along with the other benefits, its an easy decision to make. Easier than deciding to get that next cup of coffee or not.

  ### 4. Huntress is the greatest software we use here at our MSP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piom G. | IT ADVANCED SUPPORT ENGINEER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

EDR helps us visualize, detect and respond. EDR solutions offer greater visibility into what's happening on endpoints by recording granular endpoint activity and monitoring for signs of malicious behavior and advanced threats in real-time. It has saved us thousands of dollars

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Nothing this is the best software on the market!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Up to the minute alerts that save downtime and costly expenses.

  ### 5. Peace of mind as a service!

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It just works. Easy to deploy. Notifies us of issues and isolates threats before they can spread. Excelent support when issues are detected. Auto remedation and remedation instructions. Worth every penny.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I have not found any downside to using this product.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ransomeware, viruses and worms. Piece of mind knowing someone is watching 24/7.

  ### 6. Advanced protection, peace of mind and time saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Having the peace of mind of knowing a whole team is behind us to monitor our infrastructures and not fear notification fatigue. When we receive an alert, we know we have to act on it right away. Excellent support and integration with Windows Defender and our RMM is icing on the cake!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I wish there was a better management of disconnected agents. Have to do a cleanup manually to avoid getting charged for re-imaged or decomissioned machines.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure that alerts are analyzed right away, 24/7, and that only when confirmed are we alerted. Capacity to allow the SoC to isolate infected hosts until we do is helping us sleep at night.

  ### 7. Peace of mind

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We found Huntress to be a very user-friendly platform with their inutitive dashboard. Deploying Huntress was also quick and easy via our RMM tool. Having Huntress on our customer endpoints gives us a peace of mind on potential threats in the wild.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We may get some false positives and alerts can get noisy. But this does require some effort in tuning.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Threat hunting and allowing us to focus our time on other projects.

  ### 8. I use Huntress in my IT Support and Managed Services Business

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like the Sandbox that gets installed with temp files and AI watching over them for threats. I also like that Huntress uses MS Defender Engine for threat detection.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There are No Downsides that I am aware of so far.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress to elevate our customers end point protection from basic to basic plus for best protection.

  ### 9. Huntress is amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The Alert management and descriptions used are very thorough and Easy to understand. The dashboard is intuitive as is the rest of the program. It works great and has a great price point. I am in the portal almost all day I use the product very frequently. The notifications are understanadable, we have many clients and I dont think its possible to get clients mixed up. The ease of implementation was a walk in the park. I was able to create a script to handle the discovery and installation for my clients. I have needed customer service once and I have no complaints. Integrating with our current stack was simple. We recently moved to a new RMM and implementing Huntress via the RMM could not have been made simpler.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There is nothing I dislike. My management would like to see Huntress be able to remediate low level issues. Aside from that, everything is great.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was over run with alert fatigue, couldnt find enough time for investigations, overrun with false positives. I had multiple portals to use throughout the day and alort of them just didnt work. Huntress works, I trust the alerts and I am able to tune everything to what is needed.

**Official Response from James Mason:**

> Hey Eric,
Thank you for the great review, we always love to hear that we're doing well, I wanted to reply and touch on the ask for the remediation from Huntress for low level issues and wanted to let you know that is something we can do today, this feature can be enabled within the Huntress Dashboard, under settings - take a look at the Knowledge Base article below for more information on that.
Please do reach out to your Account Manager or Support if you get stuck.

  ### 10. Straight up amazing product + service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel D. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

As an MSP owner, Huntress helps me sleep at night. As if having their team watching our backs wasn't already a great offer, their customer service is the best I've ever experienced. We get answers almost immediately, and every single one of their techs is knowlegable. Just a great company all around to have as a partner.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We would love to see more details added to the client-facing portion of the EDR, particularly like some non-managed options like CrowdStrike offer. This would be a huge value add for us on the MSP / hybrid MSSP side.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EDR solves a big problem for us which is not having to pour through logs and analyze threat actor behavior every single day.

  ### 11. support and sales was perfect through the whole process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew G. | Senior IT manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Ease of use and also the capability it has among all PCs

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Lack of tutorial feature when setting up the devices

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the ease of resolving issues without havign to integrate mcuh human interaction

  ### 12. In my 24 years in the industry, Huntress is the old EDR that has caught and blocked malware

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott C. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress' realtime SOC, staffed with human engnineers, reviews threat data to eliminate noise and false positives, then proactively isolates endpoints with malicious activity to prevent the spread to other nodes on the network. Huntress is the only product of its kind that actually does what it says it will do. As an MSP-focussed company, Huntress' work in the security community is respected and its leaders are cybersecurity vetrans. Huntress is always working to add new features to bring more value without raising rates. Support is phenomenal and lightning-quick, and support tickets are answered by people who know what they're talking about. Deployment is painless and automated through our RMM.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The API is read-only and does not expose all of the data known by Huntress (purportedly for security reasons). This is restrictive and leads to manual labor in reconciling issues with agents or offboarding agents. As we continue our RPA automation journey to automate things like endpoint offboarding, other platforms allow us to delete agents via the API, but with Huntress this is a manual process. Deleting offboarded agents is important because Huntress bills in arrears for all agents deployed at the time billing is run, so if we don't invest the time to manually offboard, we get hit for a bill for an inaccurate number of agents. A more robust API to use with an RPA like Rewst would be infinitely helpful.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First, almost all cyber liability polices that our MSP clients obtain require Managed EDR, but not all MDR are created equal. Huntress both checks this box, and provides a reliable, stable, easy to administer product that actually detects and isolates problematic endpoints, thereby stopping the spread when malicious activity is detected. Huntress has the added benefit of automated, managed Microsoft Defender protection, leveraging Windows' built-in Defender product for EPP, thereby allowing us to save money by not needing a 3rd party anti-virus product to add bloat and complexity to the client's environment, and also cutting down on administrative overhead with fewer tools to manage.

  ### 13. Great company to work with

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven S. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Firstly I love that they are a nice company to work with, regardless of the technology, they are a great bunch of people to work with. On the technology side they provide exactly what they say on the box. No over marketing fuss, just real value delivered through a combination of technology and people. They also do all the heavy lifting making things easy for my internal team to handle security incidents.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Areas of improvement would be around greater improvement in the integration with Defender P1 and P2 licenses.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide the 24/7 monitoring and expertise, they evaluate the incidents and only alert us when there is something actionable.

  ### 14. Huntress Works Great!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon D. | Sys admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I work at an MSP, we've tried several EDR's and huntress is the best. Very intuitive GUI, easy to use and love how we get alerts about users mailboxes being compromised.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I wish the alerts had more options you can change.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like how we can manage all of our clients in one portal.

  ### 15. Best all around EDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It is easy to set up and manage, and it integrates very well with our MSP stack. Support is excellent, and the response is quick through the online chat. Protection and integration into Microsoft Defender make sense and cut the potential cost of an additional solution.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Not having the ability to remote control a device (power off/on).

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a consistent and thorough review of malware detected 24/7.

  ### 16. Excellent Product and Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron M. | Managed Services Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We have used Huntress for over 6 months now. We have felt really good about the service, positioning the product to our clients and having that extra line of defence. It is very easy to use and deploy to our agents via RMM. Implementation and configuration takes about 5 minutes (if that). I have contacted support a few times for small things, and each time has been efficient and easy to deal with. Not to mention a very low wait time. We check the dashboard almost on a daily basis. Integration with other services is very nice as well, albeit we don't have to do much else with the product for monitoring purposes.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Honestly, I have nothing that I dislike about the service. Maybe if I need to poke at anything, would be the frequency of check ins on endpoints. But being that it's mainly real time for nasty threats, I'm not concerned.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a one man operation, it is vital for me to ensure all my client endpoints are protected. With a managed MDR/EDR service this helps me a lot especially ensuring that I have other eyes on these devices is a load off the shoulders. Of course, the added security benefits is a plus too :)

  ### 17. Fantastic System and Support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris D. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It is very thorough, not only explaining the issue thorough but the remediation was super fast and easy. I've been using Huntress for about 2 years now and fortunate never to have had a critical alert till now; I was able to get someone on live chat almost instantly to help explain and walk me through the remidiation steps. My client was very impressed with how quickly I got things taken care of. Huntress made me look very good in the client's eyes!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Honestly can't think of any downsides. Huntress filled all the gaps I had from the previous security software I was using.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a one man MSP operation huntress has taken a lot of the burden of investigating false positives freeing up my time to do more important tasks.

  ### 18. Huntress EDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett V. | CTO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We use Huntress Managed EDR to be able to detect malicious activity and persistent footholds across our client base. The agent rolls out easily and quickly and integrated with our RMM for easy deployments. The responce from their team on incidents is quick and detailed.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I do wish Huntress did integrations across more AV platforms rather than just defender.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anomalous detections across our client base.

  ### 19. Excellent Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress catches things before they become a widespread problem, locking down the computer if deemed necessary. The few times we've had to reach out to support have been a breeze. This is a tool that we use daily to ensure our clients are safe and secure.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Most tasks are simple, however it would be nice to be able to just outright remove incidents that I deem irrelevant rather than have to false report or 'resolve'.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress allows us to focus on other tasks while being confident that any threat will be detected and alerted to us before it becomes a larger issue.

  ### 20. Huntress is a great fit for MSPs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like the ease of having all of your exlusions and options to run scans as well as other important info about each managed device right in one place. It is also easy to manage in terms of installing and uninstalling agents. I also like that it integrates with our ticketing systme and allows us to receive alerts via tickets.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only downside that affects our MSP is that clients that have to deal with CMMC compliance are not able to use this product bease they do not store of their data/ops in the USA. Not a huge deal, but it is something that we run into with sopme clients.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to run remote scans and have remote visibility into the state of Windows Defender accross all managed devices that have the agent installed.

  ### 21. Huntress helps us sleep better at night.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The Command Center (dashboard) gives us a quick way to check on the status of our clients and find out what issues need to be addressed. It's easy to determine when an agent isn't reporting in, and they have caught multiple instances where the firewall or antivirus on a system isn't turned on or getting updated properly.

Their system is part of our core management toolset, and we use it on a daily basis to keep our clients secure.

It's easy to depoly their agent to new clients using our RMM, and we have not noticed any performance issues from having it installed in our client environments.

Support is responsive and easy to contact, responding more quickly than our expectations.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

When we first started with Huntress about a year ago, their service felt a bit like a "black box" where we couldn't really tell what was going on behind the scenes. They would detect signals, and report them as non an issue, however we didn't really have visibility into that. That is no longer an issue, we have much more visibility now.

While their modular solution does help us to control costs, it has been too expensive for us to roll out all of their functionality. Once we grow our client base we will be able to scale up, but right now the lack of a discounted bundle is keeping us from being "all-in" with their service.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have the resources to man a 24x7 security desk. Huntress is one of the solutions that allows us to keep a watchful eye on our clients any time of the day and night.

  ### 22. Huntress has a great future if they keep developing and growing the platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I've been using Huntress Managed EDR for a while now, and I'm genuinely impressed with how it's simplified our cybersecurity efforts. It's really user-friendly and takes a lot of the heavy lifting off our team by handling the threat hunting and response for us. Plus, their customer support is top-notch; they're always ready with detailed explanations and help whenever we need it.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

At times some aspects of the platform seem a bit rushed in their development. This results in features that feel underdeveloped or not fully integrated, leading to a user experience that can feel a bit disjointed. While the core functionality is solid, these rough edges can sometimes detract from the overall smoothness and coherence you'd expect from such a comprehensive cybersecurity solution.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives 24/7/365 SOC coverage.

  ### 23. It's just worry free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly L. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Threats are detected and taken care of!!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Getting a streamlined report has still been an ongoing issue.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being the gatekeep gives us piece of mind.

  ### 24. Peace of mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Making use of the Windows defender AV is soemthing we already did, having EDR on top to give us the additional features and management is a much needed benefit.

Deployment was simple using the proviuded scripts for our RMM and ongoing management has been straight forward and easy for the service desk team to pick up.

Luckily we havent had any major issues where we have had to isolate any hosts, but knowing the feature is there along side the manned SOC, we have much ebtter peace of mind over using a traditional AV solution

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Nothing to be honest, from deployment through to managements the process has been simple

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More MDR, but identifying and prevent malicious access to MS 365 accounts where the end user hase provided MFA details in a phishing email.

  ### 25. Huntress for the win!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** lori t. | Owner / Presidnet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I love the ease of installation of the product, the pricing, detailed reporting and the support. I will say that I much rather have phone support but I am fine with quick / and responsive chat support. Plus the people and the culture of the company from the top down is really the best in the industry. All companies should strive to be more like Huntress.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like live phone support. When you are in the middle of an incident and want to talk to someone live, it is not possible. I would pay extra for this or per the call that I want a live person. Or a live agentto talk about what occured after the dust settels.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automated isolation, the additonal review of the machine for when something is not a virus/malware.

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

we use Huntress fand rely on Huntress to inform of us external threats or attempts to penetrate the network.

The main business problem that Huntress solves is protection and awareness of the unknown actors and processes trying to brute force into the network.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There are sometimes false positives but that is to be expected.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 28. Huntress massively increases security without the overhead of your own SOC

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Support are very responsive and helpful. They were happy to chat with me as long as I needed when working through a troublesome host device.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The portal indicating isolation could be a little more responsive. Machines were sometimes isolated, but still showing as 'pending isolation'. This is still good as the isolation was immediately effective, but it would be nice to see it in the portal more quickly.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us offload the complexity of monitoring SOC incidents that may have slipped through AV for whatever reason. We don't need to have a team of x people watching incoming SOC alerts - the alerts are looked at, triaged, and actioned - escalating to us if necessary.

  ### 29. Great product and cost effective

  ### 31. The MSP & SMB Friendly EDR Choice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There are many things that we love about huntress. I'll try to keep it short and to the point.

From a threat standpoint, Huntress consistently identifies more issues other EDR solutions we've considered. Huntress continues to evolve their threat hunting capabilities which continues to drive value for us and our customers. SMBs need a solution that evolves faster than the threat landscape and Huntress does just that.

From a supportabilitiy standpoint, Huntress support is phenomenal to say the least. Their team is always very responsive and knowledgeable (much better than the competition out there). They ensure that any issues we run into with thei platform are promptly taken care of and that customer feedback is heard and put into the product.

Lastly, Huntress Managed EDR allows us to focus on other aspects of our NOC while the product monitors system behavior for anomolies. This is truly a set it and forget it type product which has helped to drive efficiency and accuracy in protecting our customers.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There really isn't anything I dislike about the product, I wish there were some areas to manually queue surveys on endpoints, but Huntress listens to feedback and constantly improves the product so I am confident this will be added in the future.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress helps us to solve a few main areas: Increased Endpoint Security, Managed Approach, and Reduced Alert Fatigue. They also go above and beyond to find newly seen threats across our systems without even having to ask for it!

  ### 32. Sleeping Better With Huntress Under The Hood

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Having a layered proactive approach to combat cyber threats is a must in today's environment. Combining Huntress Managed EDR with built-in Windows Defender for Windows OS endpoints provides a robust one-two punch towards knocking out serious threats before they knock out your business. I ultimately implemented Huntress in lieu of the competition for the following five reasons:
1.	Proven track record on being a leader in defeating threats with excellent customer service.
2.	Ease of deployment through RMM scripting along with reduced cost by eliminating the need to implement and manage an additional third party av solution.
3.	Suitable price point for licensed endpoints with no multi year required commitment.
4.	Continuous monitoring and response for nefarious activity by their live SOC team of experts.
5.	Value-add to a business by improving their security posture against the negative financial and reputation impact caused by cyber threat incidents.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The downside to any technology is the process of adoption along with the additional cost, time, and resources subtracted from the bottom line.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyber threats aren't going away. They're evolving and increasing exponentially. Huntress aims to stay ahead of the curve to protect businesses from these threats and the financial burden they can inflict. Through their efficient deployment process and user-friendly management console, Huntress gives me the capability to deploy their solution ease.

  ### 33. Huntress pays for itself.. in spades!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has never failed us or our clients. It stopped potentially dangerous and costly probelms in their tracks flawlessly. The people behind the product are great too, providing excellent customer support We frequently use Huntress on all of our servers. Deployment, implementation and management are as easy as can be. Every desktop computer and server at our customer's site and on our own have Huntress installed on them. Huntress was easy to integrate into our service stack. Our end users frequently thank us profusely for the protection that Huntress provides.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We do not dislike anything about Huntress.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress protects our client's from malicious malware that normally originates from xlixking links in phishing emails. Huntress acts like a never-sleeping sentinel that watches over our client's infrastructure and protects it around the clock.

They have a team in place and issue fixes for almost all issues we've ever had that have popped up. A live SOC that we can access and get assistance with 24/7 really makes the difference in this platform.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Honestly, I haven't had anything that has been an issue of any kind with this vendor. This is a rarity!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fixes and issues that arise from user problems and detection are resolved FAST, and most have quick automated processes in place so we can just click remediate and things get resolved. Pricing is also quite good for what they offer.

  ### 35. EDR and MDR of our choice for MSP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We're an MSP and trust Huntress with over 3000 endpoints. We're also using MDR for 365. Both work extremely well and greatly help us manage our clients and keep them secure. The alerts are fast and helpful and save time with the auto remediate feature. The breakdown of each alert with a step-by-step process to manually take care of the issue as well, this also saves a ton of time by not having to do the research yourself. The deployment is very streamlined and easy with Ninja and customer support is top-notch. Huntress is an MDR that we trust to use on daily basis.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 44. Excellent partner for busy IT services companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Transparent, easy to add, manage and control, and it's not noisy. Doesn't send alerts or open tickets about routine events, doesn't suffer from false positives. The human review / custodianship of detections means we really know people are looking at the issues and it's not just a ton of AI false positives (garbage in / garbage out).

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It takes time to adjust to the total absence of noise... so I was a bit nervous at first about whether it was working or not. I also would like to be able to access machines that are "isolated" to research the threat and dig into it. So a special huntress remote control agent that can be used in such circumstances would be nice. Failing that, opening to our screenconnect would be okay but more risky.
I'd like them to add DNS/ URL protection for browsers. Maybe with the upcoming SEIM service

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has eliminated the gross number of false positives we were getting from traditional AV solutions (Webroot, Trend, BitDefender) and hence saved both us and the client time and money and the increased risk of overlooking a real threat because of all the noise. It eliminated wasted time working with the vendor. Huntress is VERY efficient and responsive vs. the others. It's providing better protection and remediation in the event a real threat is encountered.

  ### 45. Excellent addition to a layered protection stack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress stays on top of anything that might gain a foothold into our client systems. They are engaged in checking anything that looks suspiscious and keeping us in the loop of what corrective actions that need to be taken to correct the issue.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I haven't found anything per say about the EDR itself that is problematic however we do have an extrodinarily low number of incidents that are investigated on the endpoints so I often wonder how much is being missed by the EDR.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thus far we have had few problems that have been pointed out by the EDR. Mostly some low severity potential issues and vunerable pieces of software. The main benefit is going to the client and letting them know we have a multilayered approach to protecting them.

  ### 46. Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wayne W. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The staff and management of the product. They support the MSP community and help us all understand the emerging threats in the world. Over the past years, they immediately get engaged in zero-day emerging threats and assist the industry in how to protect themselves. They provide scripts that make it easy to deploy and implement across all of our endpoints. The dashboard is clear and concise, and they alert us when issues arise.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Nothing. As an early adopter, the price was much lower, but it is still a value at the current price.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security, having a second set of eyes to keep our customers protected. We utilize a multifaceted approach to security, and having Huntress's SOC keeping a watchful oversight of our environment.

  ### 47. Excellent EDR Solution for MSP's

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David I. | IT Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Easy installation and deployment without being too report heavy.
They work with their partners really well and have been very active in adding new features to the product.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Really, can't think of anything! This product just does what is says on the tin!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to show our clients we are taking their security seriously.

  ### 48. Quick and Accurate Notifications that SAVED us!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

They were extremely helpful in getting us setup and adding a script to Connectwise for future installations, the dashboard is easy to use and helpful. The best thing happened recently when they contacted us to patch Connectwise before connectwise did which saved us from a SERIOUS breach. We depend each day on Huntress to help us.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It is complicated which isn't really a negative - but it would be good to have someone contact us at least once a year to go over new features and updates that would help us keep our clients safe.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A extreme vunerability within Connectwise Screenconnect, Issues where a client has installed, clicked on a phising link, or provided information that has created a vunerability.

  ### 49. Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garion O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

During our 2 week trial we had a security event in which a user was comprimised in the middle of the night, Huntress was able to automatically disable the user account and stop the breach while I was asleep and sent detailed instructions to remediate when i saw the alert in the morning. The Managed approach with a real human Security Analyst looking at the alerts, filtering through the noise, and only alerting and actioning on events when nessicary is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I wish huntress had a feature to ingest firewall logs like some of the other XDR solutions out there.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility across our network, and our customers networks. Automatic defense against threats, without a flood of alerts to sort through.

  ### 50. Our experience with Huntress has been amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I love everything about their product. It's incredibly easy to roll out to all endpoints. It's also a great second layer tool, if it gets past the A/V already installed on the computer Huntress will stop it in it's tracks.

Support has been top notch, I usually get a response from the support team in a few minutes if I ever need help.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about the product.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing us a 24/7 SOC.
