I find it easy to set up on new computers. I also don't often need to check in. I know Huntress will let me know if there is an issue. It works well with our RMM software and deploys from there seamlessly. Support is decent. I usually get someone who can help me and when I don't my issue is usually escalated to get someone who can help. **What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?** I can't really think of much that Huntress doesn't do well. **What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a smaller MSP, our business is able to rely on Huntress to fill our security needs and those of our clients. They have successfully stopped countless actions on our protected clients machines in seconds. Everyone makes mistakes, and when an end user accidentally clicks into an action that can compromise their entire computer instead of calling us first, Huntress is there to stop the bad actors before they get anything. Huntress allows us to rest easy knowing that even if its 10PM on a Sunday when a user absolutely needs to download that fix for their printer, Huntress is there to stop it. **What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?** Using EDR on a MacOS machine is less than desirable, this more on Apple than Huntress, but several manual steps are required to get it to work. Once it is working, it functions well, but the initial setup is not as smooth as it is on Windows. From canary tokens to AV detection, Huntress has helped keep our clients safe. The auto-remediation feature in most incidents allows our security team to quickly and efficiently handle incidents without having to dig deeper into a remediation technique. Even if the remediation can not be automatically done, Huntress provides recommended remediation steps to be performed manually. The reports that Huntress provides give a clear breakdown of each of our clients and how their month has been from a security standpoint. The Huntress Managed EDR agent is incredibly easy to deploy en masse to our clients through our RMM tooling. Huntress support is incredibly efficient and quick to respond and provide updates on support requests. **What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?** The only downside I have experienced with Huntress Managed EDR is it can take some time for the agent to check in after an incident has occurred. **What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Huntress Managed EDR allows us to essentially "set and forget" for EDR purposes. Their support is as good as any I've seen. Most importantly, knowing if something should happen, I have their highly experienced SOC at the ready to assist in remediating the issue. Unlike some other products I tested, Huntress is excellent about keeping a low profile and controlling the amount of noise. It was surprisingly easy to implement. I also very much like their dashboard, which makes it easy to monitor the security health of my clients' computers. We provide it for all of our clients, and I sleep better at night knowing we're protected by real humans. Huntress is relatively inexpensive in the space, and it offers features that are normally only available with products that cost 3-5x. Their SOC is extremely knowledgeable, their tools are best in class at identifying incidents (especially persistence methods), and their sales team is far and away the easiest I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Their support is also top notch, it's pretty cool I can can get on the phone with a SOC analyst as needed. Not only is the product great, but my entire experience working with Huntress has been positive. Onboarding is incredibly simple, since it integrates with our RMM and PSA out of the box. EDR also integrates with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for our clients with Business Premium or better, and it can manage Windows Defender at no additional cost. With Huntress, we're finally able to provide excellent security coverage to all of our clients without the hassle of selling an expensive product that they'll never see. **What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?** I suppose visibility is lacking a bit compared to something like MDE on the admin side, but that could also be seen as a pro since it reduces noise.
