## Huntress Managed EDR Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Setup, Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to protect our desktops, laptops, servers, and M365. I love the 24/7/365 monitoring and automated response features. It's easy to set up and manage, which I really appreciate. The support team is always clear, responsive, and concise. Cost and ease of use were key reasons for switching to Huntress Managed EDR. Additionally, the initial setup was easy as it deployed smoothly via our RMM.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

minor issues deploying to mac but the support faq's did go in to detail on how to resolve
.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for 24/7/365 monitoring and automated response to protect our desktops, laptops, servers, and M365.

 ### 2. Detailed Remediation Reports and a Lightweight Agent for Easy RMM Deployment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like the remediation reports Huntress provides when there are Incidents. It provides detailed information on remediations taken and clear instructions for us to action for assisted remediations.

I also really like how lightweight the agent is and allowed us to easily integrate it with RMM tools for easy mass deployment to client devices.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Nothing in particular that I dislike about EDR

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us solve the problem of security by having a an edr agent on client devices that we know is up to standard and can deal with relevant threats

 ### 3. Fast Install, Lightweight Footprint, and English-Speaking Tech Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet R. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Install is fast. Foot print/required resources is small. Tech Support speaks English. Price is reasonable.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

No downsides. I repeat: No downsides!!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users are clicking on nafarious links and downloading malware/viruses. Huntress locks the system, remediates what they can and calls me, texts me and emails me to finish the cleanup. They give me a step-by-step plan for what needs to happen to remove the mess. They are fast and I am certain they have saved me HOURS! They are stopping infiltrations within minutes of happening. There is no way I could catch, stop and repair as fast as they do!!!

 ### 4. Best professional SOC team on the planet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | VP of Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Having a top-tier SOC team monitoring our deployment gives us confidence that potential threat actors are being stopped before they can cause harm. Not only do they keep the bad guys out, but they also provide detailed explanations of each detected threat and deliver thorough remediation plans.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

One limitation is the lack of options for creating customized, organization-specific detections. I would appreciate more robust Data Loss Prevention features, particularly for tailoring insider threat detection to our needs. It would be beneficial if the product could be expanded to cover not only initial footholds but also a broader range of potentially malicious activities by insiders or any actions that violate organizational security policies.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress helps us prevent threat actors from gaining access to our clients' hosts, Azure IDs, and tenants. The rapid progression from detection to thorough investigation, followed by escalation and incident response, and finally a detailed remediation plan, is something we could not achieve on our own without the support of the Huntress team.

 ### 5. Real Humans Elevate Endpoint Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neal W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like that real humans, not AI, look at every signal with Huntress Managed EDR. Issues are remediated with minimal input from me and it's very fast. I get an automated text, an automated call, and then a call from a human if needed. The initial setup was a snap.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I'm a little unclear about what some errors mean, such as when endpoints claim they are unmanaged. I had a few endpoints that hadn't had AV updates for Defender done in 7 days, and I didn't know how to force the update of Defender.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR because normal antivirus can let threats slip by, but Huntress has real humans reviewing signals. Issues get fixed quickly with minimal input from me, and I receive notifications through automated texts, calls, and human follow-ups if needed.

 ### 6. Easy Deployment, Robust EDR with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to protect my endpoints and monitor them for malicious activity, and it has made managing my EDR much easier. I love that it's managed and their support is usually very good. The Huntress Support made the transition to Huntress very easy and it has reduced the 'noise' I have to deal with using EDR. The initial setup was quick and easy, and Huntress provides several options to deploy the clients..

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I would like to see a system tray icon to let customers know Huntress is active.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to protect my endpoints and monitor them for malicious activity. It has made managing my EDR much easier, reducing the 'noise' I deal with. Their SOC and support enhance client protection.

 ### 7. Huntress: The perfect Defense for MSPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip P. | Cyber Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We recently took Huntress up as our MSP main defensive software. Our Managed customers utilise the EDR and the ITDR. We use the Huntress portal every single day and it's the best software we have used so far.

Rolling out the software was incredibly easy via our RMM software for Windows devices, MACs are a bit more difficult but they always are let's face it. I was able to build a script that installed it in seconds via Ninja RMM.

We have already had several incidents that Huntress has prevented, this includes smaller issues like detecting a spreadsheet containing passwords to more severe issues like Malware being deployed. In both cases, the reports generated by Huntress are easy to read and contain clear instructions on how to remediate the issue.

The EDR works extremely well with Windows Defender and the two products work seamlessly together.

I have recently used the live chat support option and go through to a tech in about 30 seconds, the chap I spoke to knew what he talking about and was able to effectively assist me in my problem.

Update: Still no issues but 100s of attempts on our customers foiled by Huntress 10/10

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

As stated previously we rolled out our Huntress via RMM. There is a MAC RMM script but this only installs part of the software. You still need to manually allow full disk access for the extension. A small issue but one I hope they will be able to fix someday.

Update: MAC rollouts are still painful but as we all know thats just standard problems with MACs :)

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a 24/7 SOC-centred solution to better defend our customers.

 ### 8. Effective Threat Mitigation with Human Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like the ability to get ahold of a human to answer my questions about threat mitigation. It's crucial for me because if I didn't get ahold of a person, I would seriously wonder if the threat was actually contained. Additionally, the initial setup of Huntress Managed EDR was very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

sometimes the dashboard is a bit confusing with the tabs

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for threat detection and remediation. I appreciate being able to talk to a human for threat mitigation; it assures me that threats are actually contained.

 ### 9. Easy Setup, Reliable and Fantastic Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like that Huntress Managed EDR is easy to use and reliable. It's the one tool we generally don't have to worry about, which saves us time and gives us peace of mind. I also enjoy that the Huntress team is fantastic to work with. The initial setup was super easy. Huntress provided the deployment script for our RMM, and tenants were automatically populated in the portal. We just had to tweak some base configurations for managed Defender. This ease of use and effective management makes it highly recommendable, and I'd give them a 10 out of 10 if asked.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Managing AV exceptions is a little tricky at the moment (it's moved a few times in the portal). Also the ITDR needs a bit more work but is pretty good.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR provides EDR and MDR protection across all client endpoints and manages Microsoft Defender on Windows, making it reliable and easy to use. It saves time and ensures peace of mind as it's a tool we don't have to worry about.

 ### 10. Huntress SOC is a game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim B. | President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We installed it at one clinic and within minutes, it discovered a residual threat that had gotten by WebRoot Secure Anywhere and Webroot DNS. The auto-remediation feature also makes cleanup very easy.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The cost per endpoint is a bit higher that I had hoped.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining a 600 seat network with a SOC that is easy to manage.

 ### 11. Invaluable 24/7 Protection with Crystal-Clear Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh B. | Senior Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to protect our clients' devices 24/7, which is crucial since we don't have a large enough team to provide round-the-clock support ourselves. I appreciate the product's ability to find vulnerabilities, viruses, and bad configurations automatically, accompanied by detailed reporting and steps to resolve issues. The level of detail Huntress Managed EDR provides is outstanding; they don't just solve problems and leave us in the dark. We receive full detailed reports outlining action items, tracking who completes them, and who closes them, which is both intuitive and easy to use. The switch from our previous managed EDR, which provided vague answers and lacked transparency, to Huntress Managed EDR has been valuable due to these individualized, clear reports. Plus, the initial setup of Huntress Managed EDR was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Currently the only thing I do not like is the EDR will report an issue like 'other AV' so we go and fix it but it can take the portal sometimes hours before it reflects the fix. It's more of an annoyance than an actual problem.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for 24/7 client device protection. It automatically finds vulnerabilities and provides detailed reports with resolution steps, addressing vulnerabilities, viruses, and configurations. The level of detail and actionable reports keeps me informed and improves security transparency.

 ### 12. Lightweight Agent with Forward-Thinking Features and Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Fantastic lightweight agent, good support, and forward thinking features for stuff that we actually use and care about in the real world.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Minor thing here, but when we deploy the agent using our RMM (Syncro, now Ninja), the associating binding our RMM Client with the Huntress EDR client can sometimes get mixed up, and now agents are getting slotted into a new customer that we need to notice, move, merge, which is a manual process. If each huntress customer had a customer guid, that we could pull with an API key, then we can tie them together, regardless of the name. This is a common strategy with other SAAS apps that we use for similar tasks.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ongoing threat detection/evolution of the good and bad of the world. the problem we had was needing to find a way to manage our 600 assets and make sure they were protected, and Huntress solved that problem.

 ### 13. Friendly, Helpful Internal Team That Truly Cares About Protecting Clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

The Internal Team are Friendly, super helpful, and genuinely care and want to help you protect your clients

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR is helping protect our clients and providing real time support in case of any incident

 ### 14. Huntress EDR Streamlines Our EDR Management Seamlessly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

As we have many customers with Intune and Defender EDR or Managed Defender, Huntress EDR fits perfectly alongside this and enhances and streamlines our EDR management

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Honestly, there’s nothing I really dislike. We’ve used other EDRs in the past, and Huntress has been much better for our use cases.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this alongside ITDR and SIEM for many of our customers. Its really nice to have a unified platform for all our security needs. Its great to have Huntress SOC to screen incidents too, before they get to out helpdesks

 ### 15. The tool we love to never use.

I do not have any issues with this huntress product

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR is protecting our client's endpoints. This makes our life easier.

 ### 18. Effortless Onboarding, Quick Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MJ N. | Assistant Director of Business Technology & Innovation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like that the onboarding is pretty easy for both Windows and Mac. The installation steps are straightforward, which means it doesn't take a hassle to install. They tell you exactly what to do, so I don't have to figure stuff out on my own.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only hiccup that we had was, at one point, it said that I ran out of free trial even though I was paying for it, but they got that resolved quite quick.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It monitors our endpoints for any type of attacks, which is essential for our security.

 ### 19. Effective and simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott S. | IT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Easy, managed product. When events happen, we can tell the Huntress team is top of it.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

This is a managed product so there is limited visibility for users. Mostly just configuration and deployment options.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps close that important remediation gap. It's not enough just to know a configuration is broken or a system is compromised.

 ### 20. Excellent Cybersecurity Insights at a Great Price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress provides information to the community about cyber-attacks and methodologies used by threat actors. The reports are clear and detailed with recommendations and processes to follow.
Integration and setup is easy with lots of resources for deployment and visibility.
The portal is generally easy to use and displays the important information quickly.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Support is extremely limited and not phone based, this is most likely why the price is so much lower compared to other vendors while still maintaining quality.
This low price point also has support putting some of the work of troubleshooting agent issues on the client instead of being handled by Huntress.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress provides a strong layer of defense to protect customers from the numerous and unending attacks from threat actors. We are able to provide our customers with true 24/7 protection compared to just an antivirus application.

 ### 21. Searching for an antivirus replacement, found a real SOC 24x7

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piero O. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress Managed EDR brings the comprehensive capabilities of a security operations center, providing 24/7 active monitoring on top of a basic antivirus solution. It is compatible with both the free and paid versions of Microsoft Defender. Security signals are collected through an agent installed on Windows machines, and, when Windows Defender is integrated, directly from the Microsoft 365 Security Tenant. There is also a Linux agent currently in preview.
The whole huntress suite was a game changing in our MSP strategy, helping us to support our customers security needs even at night and during the weekends

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Nothing, but you must consider that Huntress heavily rely on MS Defender.
If there is some other security solution in place, this should be replaced with MS Defender (free or payed subscription) + Huntress.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an MSP, we needed to switch our antivirus solution and move away from Kaspersky. Some of our customers were concerned about pricing, so we initially considered offering two cybersecurity solutions: one for those with tighter budgets and another for clients who required a higher level of security. With Huntress, however, we are able to provide the same solution to all our customers, while still tailoring our offerings to fit each client's budget.

 ### 22. Proactive Security with Essential Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I feel that all our endpoints are protected, and we will be notified of any incident, which gives us peace of mind. The chat support personnel are amazing to work with and always have the answers to our questions. Huntress Managed EDR has proved itself by immediately handling incidents, like when a client unknowingly downloaded remote desktop software instead of scheduling software, and resolved it quickly. I appreciate the proactive security, the SOC service, and Huntress's great reputation for security. The initial setup was very simple.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There is nothing we dislike about Huntress Managed EDR. People have tried to sell us or get us to change but we are solidly a Huntress shop and growing.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR helps us by stopping clients from running malware unknowingly. It provides peace of mind through endpoint protection, immediate incident notifications, and excellent support.

 ### 23. Comprehensive Coverage, Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dee M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I love the coverage Huntress Managed EDR provides, as it detects and responds to a wide range of security events. The support staff is top-notch and it's a breath of fresh air to work with a US-based team that is responsive and stays with the problem until it's resolved. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The web interface is clunky. It should be more polished.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR helps detect and respond to security events effectively, offering wide coverage and outstanding US-based support.

 ### 24. Great tool to add to your Security Stack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa Marie P. | Owner / Business Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The timeliness of distribution of information of ongoing threats. The willingness to be involved with the IT Service Provider community. Hands-on education & working with you to remediate issues.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I don't have any at this time as they been giving me good communication & willing to work with me

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is a major tool in the Security Stack for my clients that helps to catch or determine threats that might not be consider a high level threat.

 ### 25. Practical protection with fast support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Simple to deploy and manage across multiple clients.

Clear visibility into threats and remediation steps.

Huntress support team responds quickly with direct, actionable guidance.

Doesn’t overwhelm with noise; alerts are meaningful.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

CSP integration was deprecated without much notice, which created some confusion.

Dashboard can feel basic compared to larger EDR platforms.

Reporting options are limited; it would be nice to have more customization for clients.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an MSP, Huntress Managed EDR helps us protect client environments without adding complexity or overhead. It catches persistence mechanisms and threats that traditional antivirus misses, and the alerts come with clear, actionable remediation steps that my team can follow quickly. This saves us from wasting time chasing false positives and lets us focus on higher-value work. Having Huntress in place also gives our clients confidence that their systems are being monitored and secured, which supports both compliance needs and long-term trust in our services.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

nothing at this time it is easy to use interface

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we did not have an EDR solution before so the peace of mind is great, it found a foot hold in the first mins of it being installed on one of the machines. SOC team remediated the incident and confirmed with me.

 ### 27. Proactive Incident Reports and Auto-Resolution Make Security Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We receive incident reports on user activity before we do any manual checks. There’s also an option for Huntress to automatically resolve the incident, which makes everything much easier.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It does what it does best so far no complains.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly security. The dashboard gives the Active incident that may be of various types. All the EDR signals it investigated what incidents are resolved and the active incidents that are yet to be resolved.

 ### 28. Best software to stop users from getting themselves "hacked"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Otto R. | Information Technology Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

the EDR is great because it can detect things that are not really viruses but are often abused, getting notifications when users install remote control apps, or "stores" is a life saver, not to mention the integration with defender can catch things that antivirus would never catch.
Also the deployment methodology is a piece of cake, love the single command deployment method, works perfectly with ANY RMM tool.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

the Mac Integration can be painful, but this seems to be more of an issue with MacOs Itself rather than huntress.

And it can be a tad slow on querying the AV status or assisting on resuming the AV when the AV stalls.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users constantly giving away their MFA, conditional access and everything away. Huntress the MDR in particular has saved us literal hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions probably.

The logging and SIEM system is ease to use, the identity monitoring is great, we have seen SO many users who got saved thanks to huntress.

And the support, something goes wrong? it takes usually about a minute literally to get in contact with a technician on the dashboard and so far we have never had a case they could not assist with.

 ### 29. Just a fantastic SOC Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gareth C. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Its ease of deployment is what sold Huntress to us. Huntress was so easy to integrate into our RMM with a prebuilt automation script and clear, concise KB guides on how to configure the agent also made life much easier. In as little as 2 days we had onboarded 850+ machines with agents installed and reporting back to the dashboard.

All of our Service clients are fully enrolled, and the team use the dashboard daily. We have only had to use Customer Support a couple of times but in each case the support level has been fantastic with most issues resolved there and then.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only issue we have run into is not so much Huntress but the MS Defender engines. When removing the old EDR solution Defender struggles / fails to restart all the modules / engines leading to alerts in the control panel. These require manual intervention which is a little time consuming but in no way Huntress' fault.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In addition to Managed ITDR and Managed SIEM, the Managed EDR Solution is enabling us to provide a fantastic SOC solution at a cost that makes objections few and far between. We looked at several SOC solutions and the simple ease of use and entity management was just far superior

 ### 30. Incredible product, its the one product we insist our clients use for us to support them

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riley D. | Standards & Centralized Services Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Unmatched security monitoring and incident response, saved our client's networks/identities many times.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Reporting is VERY limited; hard to prove to our clients the immense value Huntress EDR and ITDR brings

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

catching breaches, bot at Endpoint and Cloud/Identity levels as they happen and stopping the breaches in their tracks

 ### 31. Easy Deployment and Overnight Alert Monitoring You Can Trust

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Knowing that there is a team on the other end monitoring for alerts even overnight, ready to respond and to involve me (as a SOC team leader) if needed. Very easy to deploy and configure, easy to manage. They also have a very helpful support team that is always ready to respond.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The logs that you can search when only purchasing Huntress EDR (and not their other products) are not as helpful as I'd hoped, and the UI for that menu is not as useful as I wish it was.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring that client EDR detections are addressed even if they come in overnight.
Ensuring that our clients (and our own internal company) is protected from ransomware.

 ### 32. Outstanding Support and Powerful Endpoint Protection

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The product is very easy to setup. Deploying it alongside other EDRs post compromise Huntress always found files left behind relevant to the attack.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Nothing. I'm very happy with the product.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It covers our insurance requirement for EDR and makes me sleep better at night.

 ### 34. Cutting-Edge Security with Actionable Alerts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrone H.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like how Huntress Managed EDR combines automation with human expertise. It cuts through the noise and provides clear, actionable alerts instead of overwhelming me with false positives. This feature is vital for efficient incident response as it saves time and focuses my attention on genuine threats. Additionally, the product has demonstrated its capability by addressing a wide range of alerts, from minor issues like users saving passwords in document files to critical breach alerts and detection of malicious software downloads. I find its ability to handle such a spectrum of security challenges very impressive. The straightforward setup process also stands out, making it easy to integrate into our system without any headaches. Overall, its blend of technology and human insight provides a comprehensive security solution that I am very satisfied with.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I think the Managed Defender aspect could do with its own section dedicated to it with clearer ways of using it as a managed AV. Additionally, a better dashboard view with reporting would be beneficial.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to address security concerns, from identifying small alerts like saved passwords to detecting severe breach alerts, offering clear actionable insights while reducing false positives.

 ### 35. Effortless Security with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I appreciate Huntress Managed EDR for its ease of use, which simplifies our cybersecurity training and awareness efforts as well as our SOC operations. Its user-friendly interface means we don't need a team constantly monitoring security incidents because it handles client logins from different countries, identifies password files on devices, and detects unauthorized VPNs. The ability to seamlessly integrate with 365 tenancies is another standout feature for me, as it effectively reduces complexity in managing multiple tenancies and enhances our cybersecurity measures effortlessly. Overall, these features make Huntress Managed EDR incredibly valuable to us by saving time and resource effort, and I'm so satisfied with its performance that I would rate my likelihood to recommend it to others as a perfect 10.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There is nothing I have found yet

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to address login issues from diverse locations, unauthorized VPNs, and device password files. Its ease of use, 365 tenancies integration, and reducing the need for constant team monitoring enhance our cybersecurity training and SOC operations.

 ### 36. Non-intrusive Protection Against Advanced Threats

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon H. | System & Cloud Director, Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like that Huntress Managed EDR is lightweight and doesn't slow down the client. Alerts go to the Huntress SOC instead of constantly bothering the client with alerts they may not understand, which other solutions often do. It has proven itself multiple times when Defender alone wouldn't have protected the client. Plus, it's super easy to roll out and set up, even though it's a bit more complex with Mac due to security constraints, it's still pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Differences between incidents and escalations not the clearest at first, but we soon learnt this

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR protects us and our clients from modern advanced threats beyond basic antivirus. It's lightweight, doesn't slow down clients, and filters alerts to prevent client overload. It's proven effective in cases where Defender alone fell short.

Brilliant Support from the Huntress Team and you have access to all levels of Huntress, even Kyle!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Too many MSP's have access to it as well! :-D
I have no dislikes, it's good at what it does and if more MSP's adopt it, then the business world will be better prepared to defend against malicious attack!
Our clients love it

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an MSP, we’re constantly looking for tools that strike the right balance between protection, efficiency, and scalability. Huntress Managed EDR has proven to be one of those rare solutions that truly delivers.

Proactive Threat Detection. Huntress doesn’t just rely on automation - it combines machine learning with a 24/7 human SOC team that actively investigates threats. This drastically reduces false positives and gives us confidence that real issues are being caught early.

Easy Remediation. One of the biggest wins is the clear, actionable remediation guidance. Whether it’s a suspicious persistence mechanism or a confirmed malware infection, Huntress provides step-by-step instructions or automated fixes that save our technicians hours of work.

MSP-Friendly Management. The multi-tenant dashboard is intuitive and built for scale. Managing dozens of client environments is seamless, and the reporting tools make it easy to show value to our clients without overwhelming them with technical jargon.

Final Verdict. Huntress Managed EDR solves real problems for MSPs - reducing alert fatigue, simplifying remediation, and enhancing client trust. It’s become a core part of our cybersecurity stack, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other MSPs looking to strengthen their endpoint protection.

 ### 39. Excellent piece of gear — easy to install and pleasantly surprising human support.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc B. | DevOps Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I love how easy Huntress is to install. We currently manage over 100 endpoints, and we've already experienced a few minor incidents — all of which were handled exceptionally well. To our surprise, these weren’t just automated, AI-driven remediations. A real human investigated, fixed the issue, and even provided a detailed report summarizing all incidents so far.

We have yet to see Huntress in action against a major threat like ransomware or advanced malware, but based on our experience so far, I’m confident that with our own expertise and Huntress’ support, we’ll remain resilient.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

At the moment, nothing significant comes to mind. In the past, I did miss a few features — for example, the ability to test specific scenarios. Fortunately, Huntress recently implemented a scenario-testing feature (incident simulation), which solves that issue.

We also had a few onboarding hiccups, but Huntress support resolved them quickly and effectively. Overall, we have no complaints — Huntress is a great product with excellent service.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small MSSP with a team of just three, which makes providing true 24/7 coverage a significant challenge. Huntress helps us solve that problem in a professional and cost-efficient way. When incidents occur outside our working hours, Huntress contacts us so we can take immediate action — ensuring our clients remain protected around the clock.

 ### 40. Huntress is THE Solution to Managed EDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James A. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress provides us with recommendations to facilitate the cleanup after something is detected.
Huntress operate 24x7, giving us and our clients peace of mind.
Huntress very easily integrates with our RMM for easy deployment, and our PSA for easy ticket management. The ease of integration makes it a no-brainer, and as such we have it deployed for EVERY managed client.

The support team are top notch providing well explained and well documented answers.

Our account manager is also a fantastic rep for Huntress. She frequently reaches out to us (not in an attempt to sell us anything), but to check in, make sure we're doing okay, and offer his assistance wherever we might be able to use it.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It is very hard to dislike anything about the Huntress Managed EDR tool.
If i had to choose something, and trust me, i am nitpicking, i would say that the software does not (yet) have some form of tamper protection, allowing an admin user to freely uninstall it from an endpoint.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress fits in to our service offering as a Managed EDR solution.
Previous offerings were twice as expensive or more, and with less features or value.
Huntress provides us a solution that is easy to deploy, easy to operate, and easy to understand.
It just works!

 ### 41. Great tool and service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reed V. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress just works, very little to configure and really works differently from other EDR. Does not put huge strain on system or disk and sometimes so easy you don't even know if it's working. Then you get an alert... and the proof is in the pudding. This tool picks up what everything else misses. Had another EDR and Huntress on a machine today and Huntress tracked, alerted, and stopped a web based attack from establishing persistence on a machine. The other EDR had nothing about the event at all.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Sometimes the lack of configuration and ease of use makes it feel not as superior as it actually is to some of its competitors.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is able to identify behavioral processes that other EDRs dont pick up on. Sometimes you are unsure it is even operating due to the lack of context from both the local agent (which is good) and the administrative console. Would love to see a way to deep dive agent telemetry from the console as like a special view for forensics and investigation purposes.

 ### 42. Effortless Setup, Ideal for Small Businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devon M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like the ease of use, setup, and delivery method of Huntress Managed EDR, making it appropriate for my small business. The very easy and simple setup process took just minutes, which is crucial since we don't have a large cybersecurity team. The competitive pricing is another aspect I appreciate, as our budget constraints require this product to be affordable compared to others.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I am personally not a fan of the cartoon approach, but this is something that some people do appreciate.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for security awareness training. It’s easy to use and set up, ideal for my small business without a large cybersecurity team. The competitive pricing fits my limited budget.

 ### 43. Quick responses and thorough monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has been great at catching things our organization doesn't have enough staff to monitor for. The platform is thorough and responsive, and the support team has been easy to contact and work with. I'd highly recommend them to any business looking to improve their security without implementing an internal SOC.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I've had some trouble connecting to isolated devices with the 'Tooling IP' feature, but I also have not reached out to support for assistance with this yet, so that may be on me.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small MSP with no internal SOC and are only open during regular business hours. Huntress has been a huge help in detecting threats out of normal office hours and disabling/isolating/locking systems or accounts until we have someone who can address the issue. Huntress also catches things I haven't been doing this long enough to have noticed, such as a malicious service running.

 ### 44. Great security with 24/7 support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The ITDR and SIEM are affordable and make life easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The SIEM could be easier to use for products such as Unifi device. The delay in finding out if it is working can make the setup a multiday process.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without a dedicated security specialist, we still get information about the threat and how to attend to the threat.

 ### 45. Effortless Security Posture Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon H. | Information Technology System Administrator II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I find Huntress Managed EDR easy to use, which is great because it doesn't waste my time with unnecessary alerts. It allows us to maintain a good security posture and quick response even with a lean IT team. The initial setup was easily deployed via NinjaOne.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

If I have to say something, maybe a bit oversimplified

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR lets us maintain a good security posture and quick response despite a lean IT team.

 ### 46. Huntress has made our lives easier with managing the first line of possible attacks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonny B. | CyberSecurity Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

They now offer a fully managed SIEM. They are very quick. We had other options before, but Huntress always alerted us first and that is why we went fully with them. Support is quick to answer and always helpful. Huntress is constantily learning. They allow you to reject remidations and explain why so they can cater the detctions for your company. Huntress is very easy to deploy. No confusing configurations, just install the agent and they do the rest.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

They could add some more SIEM features. The false positives have came down.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, We are using EDR, SEIM, and MDR with Huntress. Huntress is our first line of defense and it saves us time by freeing our security team up. We don't need to comb through data or work on making detections, Huntress does all of this themselves and they have a live team that goes through detections for you.

**Official Response from Tayler Blanc:**

> Hi Sonny! We appreciate your kind words. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your solution!

 ### 47. EDR saved my client! Thanks again Huntress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roddy O. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

With all the security tools on the market, I’m usually skeptical—but Huntress EDR felt like a no-brainer. I started with the trial, then signed up to protect 250 endpoints. Within a day or two, I began receiving multiple "low-risk" notifications.

A few weeks later, one of my clients accidentally downloaded a threat from what they believed was a reputable vendor. Within one minute of the compromise, my cellphone rang—Huntress was already on it. They isolated the affected machine, and within 20 minutes, provided a fix. I approved it, and they implemented it immediately.

I can’t say enough about how much this saved my client—and saved me a ton of time and headaches. Thanks again, Huntress!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I do not dislike anything about it. They are great!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are protecting my endpoints. I sleep better at night knowing that I use this service

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for 24/7 security coverage, giving me peace of mind with expert monitoring. It's easy to use, efficient, and the reporting is really good.
