What I like most is their referral-based model. Instead of random profiles, we get higher-quality candidates, which helps reduce screening time. The platform is easy to use, and the team tries to support whenever needed. For niche hiring, it works better than normal job portals.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

Cost is little on higher side specially for small teams. Also sometimes follow up takes more time than expected. I feel communication can be faster in some cases.

I would suggest Hunt Club if you are hiring for specific or senior roles and have budget for it. Be clear about your requirement from start and give proper feedback on profiles, it helps get better results.

What I appreciate most about Hunt Club is that they don't simply send me a random assortment of profiles. The candidates they provide are typically carefully selected and genuinely relevant to the position, which means I don't have to spend time on individuals who are obviously not a good match.

One aspect I dislike about Hunt Club is that the process can occasionally feel slower than I anticipate. There are times when I find myself waiting for updates or new candidates, and I’m left uncertain about what is happening behind the scenes.

What I like best about Hunt Club is how they combine the power of real human networks with technology to surface top-tier candidates, especially those who aren’t actively on the market. What’s been most beneficial for me is their unique network-based approach — they tap into a trusted group of industry connectors who personally refer top candidates. That kind of credibility and reach is something I could never replicate on my own. It’s also saved me a lot of time; rather than sorting through dozens of unqualified applicants, I’m presented with a shortlist of strong, well-matched candidates. A small thing I didn't like about the hunt club is the UI/UX they can add pricing section where agencies can go through now in case there is no such section in the website so agencies need  to connect directly to the sales team.

Hunt club helped my organization solving the most faced challenged of finding, super fit candidates for mid to senior roles. Traditional hiring portals were filled up with irrelevant resumes and inactive profiles, but Hunt Club's referral saves time and really benefitted for strategic positions.

Limited reason to contribute meaningfully considering it is not two ways. Similar to other marketplaces…but with people…they cater toward the employer, providing limited support, pre and post interview communication. 

The automated email, down the line, to the Hunt Club job board led to a board with very very few opportunities worth a profile.

When I need to bring fresh, high quality talent onto the Product team, I go to Hunt Club. They have never failed to bring me strong candidates while also providing me a great experience as the hiring manager. I simply don't have time to do the work to build pipeline and vet candidates, and I know I can count on Hunt Club to take care of those steps for me with the same eye for what's needed. This means that searches are fast, which is really important to me given the pace at which we're growing.

Cost Structure of the start fees are a little high. Also Cadence of the invoices being resent before due. I suspect invoicing is set to resend after 1 week which apears to be a little too quick. Doesn't give enough time to process through AP systems. Might be more helpful to wait 1 week before due for a reminder if not received yet.

If interested in a fully supported talent team Hunt Club is a great solution.

The Hunt Club team is highly professional and knowledgeable. They get to know your business almost as well as you do, so I do view them as an extension of my team when they are interacting with external candidates. They're also quite flexible, and can adapt their recruiting process to fit yours very well.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

Hunt Club isn't cheap - they charge towards the top of the market, effectively require exclusivity, and do require a partial upfront payment, but in this case you get what you pay for.

Hunt Club has an extensive network of technology leaders. When combining that network with their rigorous vetting approach, they are able to bring in more highly qualified candidates than any other executive recruiting firm I've worked with.

It's not so much a dislike. However, it would have been an even better experience if we had more minority candidates in our qualified pool.

Our style of working together is iterative, as every search is unique and, particularly at the early stage, change is constant. Hunt Club is a great partner!

Technical recruiting (product, product design, and engineering) was not always their bread and butter, but the team ramped up quickly and we've placed multiple product and engineering candidates successfully.

Hunt club drills in quickly during a retained search to best identify the traits, characteristics, and mutual fit that will make a candidate successful. I've enjoyed working with them across multiple companies and was pleasantly surprised to find success across both non-technical and technical search processes.

We've had success in everything from technology to paid advertising to sales. I love that we're able to work with the same teams so they know our company and brand!

It's a very difficult hiring market but that isn't their fault.

We're a team without HR, so they've been great helping us supplement our team and let us focus on building the business. We've found really quality candidates that we otherwise wouldn't have.

One of our Account Executives was a rock star - found great talent, very communicative, overall an awesome partner.

One of our Account Executives seemed to be too inexperienced to handle our account.  To Hunt Club's credit, they recognized this and replaced them quickly.

Thoroughly vet your team.  I have a small sample size but it is mixed.  Overall, I really like their model and we ended up with a great result - it just took a little time and some pain to get there.

Hiring two inaugural product marketers for an enterprise marketing team

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

They came highly recommended by several CMOs in my network - and they have lived up to their reputation.  

After several unsuccessful months of searching/interviewing on my own, within ~30 days after going live, Hunt Club found a phenomenal candidate for the senior product marketing role (and I expect to place the second role imminently).  In such a competitive market, they were able to attract and engage a different pool of candidates than I'd been able to on my own.

The team is also very sharp and efficient - a perfect partner to startup leaders who are short on time but need production and results.

I didn't experience any downsides/negatives.

Provide them details, background, and info - they will use it very effectively!

I was solving for hiring in a very, very competitive market and trying to tap into new pools of candidates.

They did just that - placing the first of two roles within ~30 days, and I expect to close out the second role (which I have admittedly delayed by making some adjustments to the ideal candidate profile!) imminently.

Hunt Club (Taylor Feste / Willy Palivos) tenaciously helped us fill some key marketing roles in a competitive market. They're gritty, conscientous and a great partner who works hard to understand your business and role requirements. Appreciate that they're always digging for new candidates and the transparency in their updates/reporting.

Searches take time in competitive markets. As the Hunt Club network continues to grow, it will allow the team to scale existing relationships vs. needing to do more digging and getting to know recruits cold.

If you're looking for a search firm that will partner with you, Hunt Club is a terrific choice.

Taylor and Willy filled our roles with great candidates. In particular our Comm role had terrific candidate pipeline and we ended up with an all star in eat who's having a great impact on our results.

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

The team is sincere, prompt and very professional to work with.  I enjoy the camaraderie that's been established between the Hunt Club teams that I have been able to work with.  They genuinely seek to please the client and the unique needs of the role.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

The fees are steeper than I'd like but I understand that with great quality and expertise, comes a price.  Overall, they work exceptionally hard to please the business they are supporting.

**Recommendations to others considering Hunt Club:**

Give them a shot!  They are great to partner with and seek to find the perfect talent to suit the organization/position they are supporting.

**What problems is Hunt Club solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Filling roles faster by reviewing candidates that are primed for the role and engaged in the conversation.  Less time is spent on sourcing candidates or working through underqualified candidates.

Hunt Club has been key in helping grow our team this year. They've partnered with us to recruit talent that we need to grow our company.

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

They act as an extension of our team. They listen to the unique needs we have for what role we're hiring for. They ask a lot of question, do their research and move quickly.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

Honestly, I don't have a lot of things to say that I dislike. I think anyone can always say that they wish hiring was faster and easier, but this is certainly eased with Hunt Club.

**What problems is Hunt Club solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me save time by finding the right candidates for roles. They're researching the roles, the market and the candidates themselves, which is a huge help in terms of giving me my time back so I can focus on other things. Additionally, the time I'm spending on hiring is better because they are pre-vetting candidates so I'm talking to people who are good fits.

Hunt Club helped my organization hire a Sales Development Manager.

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

Communication - Hunt Club was consistently communicating where they were in the search, what new candidates they had calls with, and any adjustments they thought they could make to help us find the right candidate.
Candidate Quality - Candidate quality was EXCELLENT.  The profiles they brought to us were all in line with what he had discussed and very rarely did we push back on any candidates.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

Volume - Twice during our search we had potential candidates reach out directly to us that Hunt Club was too aggressive in reaching out to them.  While not a deal-breaker for me, it didn't paint our org in a great light. 
Cost - It is a costly service, and while the product and service were excellent, you still pay regardless of if you hire their candidate - which makes it tough to recommend them if you are also doing your own recruiting or are working w multiple recruiters.

We used Hunt Club to help grow our leadership team within our Sales and Business Development departments.  Their hires have been excellent additions to our team and have made meaningful contributions.

Hunt Club pairs you with a team of recruiters who are professional, motivated, and organized. They consistently produced great candidates and were true partners throughout the hiring process to ensure we hired the right person for our key roles.

Nothing...they're awesome. We couldn't have made the hires we did without them.

Without a full-time recruiter on our team, it has been difficult to hire in a tight market. Additionally, Hunt Club helped us meet candidates who were not necessarily already looking for a new role and who had no connection to our company previously. We definitely expanded our reach.

We engaged Hunt Club to search for a Director of Customer Success

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

Our Hunt Club team was thoughtful in presenting a focused number of candidates each week, walking through their strengths and weaknesses post-screen call, and most importantly was able to incredibly calibrate the candidate pool week after week based on my feedback to the point that in the later stages, it felt that every candidate presented in a week could be perfect.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

Honestly, there's not much that comes to mind. At times, we would have to slow down the sourcing process because we would be backed up internally on providing interview feedback but that's on us.

**What problems is Hunt Club solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We initially engaged Hunt Club for a Director of Customer Success hire, and we have continued our relationship with a Head of Sales hire as well. Excited to continue working with them.

Hunt Club was asked to help us find our next Business Manager who needed to combine both CFO and HR skills as well as be a strategic partner to the Head of School (and have the skills and ability to work with the Board).

Hunt Club did not give up! This was simply looking for a unicorn and at the worse possible time. They were dogged in their approach and did not give up when they thought they found the right person.

They pushed us to be really specific and pushed us to look at people again--in the end this turned out to be a good thing

Hunt Club helped our company hire Sales Reps in a large quantity. We worked with them for a year+ with varying degrees of success! Great experience overall.

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

I really like the personal touch they take in screening, qualifying, and managing the entire recruiting process. The majority of time is typically spent by hiring managers up front reading resumes and screening candidates, which can potentially lead to a very small ROI. Hunt Club takes the majority of the process out of HM's hands (thankfully), and ultimately the expectation is that HM's will be introduced to only the most qualified of candidates, which should ideally increase ROI and decrease time to hire.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

As with any recruiting agency, some aspects are out of the control: folks not showing for interviews, good phone screens not turning into good interviews, etc. I think for us it was hard to nail our recruiting DNA given that we were early stage, and an algorithm can't always predictably find the perfect candidate.

**Recommendations to others considering Hunt Club:**

Be very specific with the DNA of the folks you're trying to recruit. List out example companies, profiles, backgrounds, etc. Try to make it as specific as possible so that the algorithm can predictably do its work!

**What problems is Hunt Club solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting has become an active part of our organization instead of a time burden. I've been able to see more, qualified, and active candidates than before, while spending more time with my team developing them as individuals and sales representatives.

I was recruited for a role by Hunt Club.

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

As far as the process the scheduling and interviewing with Hunt Club was seamless. It was a breath of fresh air to see exactly who would be interviewing me with their names and emails. The team was transparent regarding expectations both from my side and the employer. 

Laura and Cara were always available with Laura even taking time to help me with some questions while she was on vacation in Florida. Both provided helpful thorough communication and used their expertise to help me make the right decision for myself. They genuinely seemed like they wanted to help me do what was best for ME, not just fill the role. Very unbiased, some of the best recruiters I've worked with!!

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

No dislikes at this time. I mean that. The team was very fair and I never felt forced, pushed, annoyed, etc like some recruiters have made me feel. The scheduling and communication was fantastic. Wish all recruiters were this way.

We have been working with Hunt Club for the last 6 months as our main recruiting partner for our revenue roles - Sales, Marketing, Client Success, etc. 

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

They customize the relationship to fit your needs and expectations. In areas where we need more strategic thinking, they help us brainstorm, whereas in areas where we need more candidates in our pipeline, they help increase that. While they act as a typical recruiting partner, they also get to know your organization intimately and are comfortable being hands on where you need it. It's great to have an outside-the-org partner, who can speak directly to our hiring managers and help get results faster. 

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

Hunt Club is great for startups and/or companies that don't have a recruiting function. We have a recruiter but were in need of more support and larger candidate pools. Because we do have the function and because of the cost associated with partnership such as this, it's hard to advocate for keeping the partnership long term. That's the only downside of working with a partner, such as Hunt Club. Most organizations are reluctant to invest in recruiting, so it's a challenge they have to combat. That said, they did work with us and meet our budget and expectations, which made the partnership possible in the first place. 

**Recommendations to others considering Hunt Club:**

Set clear goals internally on what your company would like to get from Hunt Club. Ask Hunt Club what all they can help you with to accomplish said goals. Meet with your hiring managers and Hunt Club to launch the partnership and ensure that hiring managers feel comfortable leaning on the partnership. 

**What problems is Hunt Club solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hunt Club has helped us hire quicker on roles where we have multiple heads, but where I have seen the most problem-solving and benefit has been on new roles we are hiring. For many of our current open roles, we have not hired a person in this area before (i.e. Sales Ops, Sales Engineer, Data Analyst, etc.) They have helped us carve out the job description and determine the  ideal candidate profile. They check in regularly after initial interviews with candidates to find out if the people they are bringing forward are what we are looking for. After these check-ins, they edit and modify the search as needed, to get us the best candidates possible. They have really helped us navigate these new roles and even new territories effortlessly. By working with Hunt Club, we have saved a lot of time internally having these conversations, and they have shortened the overall hiring process for many of our roles by improving our efficiency.

They work hard and fast to bring you good qualified candidates to make the hiring process easy for you.

During my interview process, Hunt Club reached out to me about a new opportunity, and we had a quick call to discuss the role, the company and some other relevant details. Willy Palivos reached out to me for the initial discussion, and then Eric Chien managed the relationship after Willy and I found a good fit. Each step of the way Eric prepared me as best he could, giving me as many insights on the people and the company I was interviewing with, and he was also a strong advocate for my needs.

**What do you like best about Hunt Club?**

I like the personal touch and the preparation provided by the Hunt Club team. Eric, Sami and Willy all provided a very thoughtful approach to reaching out to me, educating me on the role and the organization I was interviewing with, as well as advocating for my interests and managing procedural conversations between myself and the organization.

**What do you dislike about Hunt Club?**

It's not easy to pick something I dislike here, as everything they did every step of the way was phenomenal.  Amazing service from the interviewee side.
