Employees pay a recordkeeping services and custody-related asset-based fee of 0.05% to Human Interest Inc., an investment advisory fee of 0.01% to Human Interest Advisors, plus underlying fund fees. Asset-based fees are deducted monthly from the employee’s account according to the HII Terms of Service and HIA Terms of Service. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. If the plan sponsor elects to hire an external investment advisor, the plan sponsors will pay such advisor as agreed between the plan sponsor and advisor.

"Seamless 401(k) Management with Empowering Employee Control"

What do you like best about Human Interest?

I really like Human Interest because it's so easy for employees to make changes themselves without having to go through HR. Being the HR director in a small company where it's just me, it's great that they can do it on their own. It's also rewarding and incentivizing for them to sign up for a 401(k), knowing they can adjust their contributions if they need to. They just go on there and make the changes themselves, which gives them a sense of control. I think that's really important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

I think right now, I don't really have any complaints. I, interestingly enough, have two profiles set up in our Rippling account. And so sometimes it tells me that I'm actually not eligible to put money into my 401k, but it's just a misread. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Human Interest solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Human Interest to execute our 401(k) plans. It's all online, integrates with Rippling, and simplifies the process compared to our old paper-based system, boosting enrollment. What do you like best about Human Interest?

I like how Human Interest notifies employees about eligibility and handles contributions by taking them out of payroll and taking care of payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

I'm frustrated by the bait and switch on the cost. It was sold to me as no cost to employer via Gusto, but now I'm facing $100’s each month in fees, making me consider other programs or going back to my old Simple. The unexpected charges that were never discussed should be illegal. The initial setup seemed like a lot was missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
