After an initial onboarding and setup, there is very little maintence required. Aside from the usual tuning and optimizations, it is largely a hands off tool that keeps our website and partner data protected. When we do run into false positives, or areas where we want to alter the rule set, it is very strait forward. Its great at automatically identifying known bots and classifying them. The support team are great at responding and are always open to ways to improve their product. It regularly protects our services and we use it in combination with our waf service.

Sometimes the black box nature of the service means that it can be hard to pass information on and ensure that the correct traffic is allowed. While we can allowlist a bot of HUMAN we cannot see easilly what ips are relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As part of the ticketing industry, we get a lot of bot traffic. Human Bot Defender does a perfect job for us securing our sites against constantly evolving bots, its transparent that it does not interfere with our application. Human Bot Defender gives a 2nd layer of visibility on top of my Cloudflare layer, and this allows for visibility and understandability of what is actually happeining on the edge. Additionally this adds to the dialog between engineers and security. This is always a good thing. Customer support is very good and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be very helpful if Human Bot Defender had an API that automation tools like Tines could use in order to perform alerting or supporting inerventions on behalf of legitimate users. As of now the API is really quite useless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
