PX is great and there is good documentation about how to deploy it but I would love it if PX provided some Terraform modules to get everything deployed for us a little easier. We spent a good amount of engineering time making a Terraform module to get PX enforcers deployed in our environment. Does not need to be TF, any templates to get things started with code. Very few false positives. Easy to integrate with our CDN. Responsive support channels (slack/email). When we are seeing anomalous behavior on our site, they are able to target and block just the bad traffic with almost surgical precision while leaving customer traffic unaffected. Easy to add custom Access Control rules when the list of Known Bots is not enough, however they do a great job of keeping the Known Bots list up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Backend admin page can be slow at times. On the rare occasion we have a customer reach out to us due to BotDefender blocking them, it would be nice if there were more details available about why the block is happening so we can more quickly assist the customer. If we have to reach out to PX about a block it just slows the entire process down. Would be nice to see streaming log support so we could begin to build our own reports/etc to integrate with our other tools. Custom access control rules could also benefit from the ability to add a comment so we can track who added a rule and why. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the slack channel and ease of support. I've only worked with one other company (ObservePoint) using slack channeling like this with their clients. It has made my job much easier, seamless and easygoing to have that support like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd say the tool itself - could use some work. I don't know if they have personalized experiences based on logins or what not - but once I had trouble finding a report I wanted, and support sent me a screenshot of a whole different UI. The UI itself seems like it could use some improvements navigationally and aesthetically to be more intuitive for non-familiar users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

* Does a great job of rejecting bot traffic with only rare instances of false positives (important for eCommerce)
* Directly integrates with Fastly; no need to have any extra hop in the request path
* The dashboard allows us to dive into an investigation without help from support.

The Fastly integration is complex. It requires more than an ideal amount of time and effort to upgrade to a new version of the PX Enforcer.
There is a script to do the upgrade, but I would much rather swap out Fastly snippets in order to upgrade the PX Enforcer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The CF worker solution is super easy to setup, the dashboard is very informative (can be slow sometime though), and the customer support team (especially Yarra). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the customer agent has no context about the setup so I need to remind them again

360 fraud prevention support from HUMAN - not only as a Dashboard for tracking but also a supportive team assisting in traffic quality topics and user experience.

* Fast efficient support available throughout the week and working hours.
* Iterates fast and cares about feedback.
* Low volume of false positives for core product.
* Account managers that care and take time to get to know your business.

* Some of the features may not be as fully developed as they first appear, eg some reporting API's. This is only apparent in reporting API's.
* As with most products of this nature it can be a bit of a black box as to how the product works which can cause friction if and when customers are blocked.
* You need to get into the dirt to really make the most of it. Not particularly a criticism but more a reality check. Eg log forwarders and infrastructure as code methodologies.

PerimeterX (PX) is great at blocking attacks. We are a very large e-commerce platform, under constant attack. Everything from account takeovers, to credit card fraud. PX has blocked attacks that could have ended our company.
I also love their support. We have a shared slack channel. If I were to ask a question there right now, at 10pm, I'd instantly have help from their team. It makes me feel good knowing that if an attack happens at any time of day, that I can get help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
