End zone shot, Wide , Tight shots and drone shots. I also like how they can break down film for you. You put in your play call list in. They can break play by play down for you. That saves time. Running reports on teams. and how they put your play calls and the film together when you run reports. Like the run screen plays. Run a report on all screen plays. You see how the run those plays. Also running plays, counters and zone runs. You can see just those plays. All the counters and zone plays . Trick plays , Touchdown plays, Intercept. You can see watch players are watching film and who is not. by seeing how long they watch film. You can draw plays for practice. Reports on the percentage on 1st down plays they would run or throw the ball. 2nd Down plays run or throw. etc. Love how they keep a Library of all the film for years last years games . The best thing about HudI is how you can trade film with other teams. With a click of a bottom. I also love the app. I can watch film on my phone. Will I am waiting on my truck to be fix or watch it at function I don't want to be at. The highlights great too. I love how you can draw on the film and show players where to go and highlight a player on how's doing good or bad on a play. Put that highlight circle on one player is a great thing. Very professorial. **What do you dislike about Hudl Sportscode?** I don't like how long it takes to download film. it takes some times hours to down load. Sometimes the next day. Or sometimes some of the film is half downloaded and you have to re-download it. I don't like with the app on my phone is I can't watch all the angels at the same time. I always have to switch different angels on my phone. That takes time. And sometime switch can take long. Because you my not have a signal in some spots. **Recommendations to others considering Hudl Sportscode:** Yes great teaching tool. Running reports. Great for film **What problems is Hudl Sportscode solving and how is that benefiting you?** How my players line up with the end zone copy of film And drone copy.I can see how teams score on us. Who was lined up wrong or who miss a tackle. Grading players how good or bad they do. I use the saying the film don't lie. Player come to me and say one thing and I show them that they was doing the wrong thing. ### 2. Sportscode shows promise for people who have the time, patience and expertise to take advantage of all of its capabilities. **What do you dislike about Hudl Sportscode?** First of all, it's really expensive. We were quoted $1800 per person using it. Compared to more affordable, easier-to-use packages like Hoopsalytics, it's hard to justify the price. There's also a steep learning curve to get the most out of it. The other coaches I know who are using this basically use it for slicing video, and that's it. **What problems is Hudl Sportscode solving and how is that benefiting you?** We hoped to have it tell us which players, plays, sets and actions were the most productive for our basketball team. ### 4. It also makes creating highlight packages for recruits easier, and they are able to do so from the comfort of their own home. ### 6. I worked for a D3 School so we would only breakdown 3-6 pieces of game film on each opponent, so it wasn't crazy. **What problems is Hudl Sportscode solving and how is that benefiting you?** I no longer use hudl because I am out of coaching. But the benefits of it were that you could work from home rather go in the office. It helped in D3 because sometimes I could work on film at my first job. ### 8. Also, it is a good way to communicate with my guys in making sure they are studying film and understand what scheme we are running without us being in the same room. I also have the experience of being the video coach and working directly with hudl in uploading and editing film. **What do you dislike about Hudl Sportscode?** What I probably dislike the most about Hudl is the upload time of the game film. From my experience uploading, Friday night game film was always a little painstaking, as it would take hours for the film to load, which meant that my Friday nights were always long because after loading, then I needed to edit and even through Hudl has a self-editing feature, you still have to double-check because there is always human error. **What problems is Hudl Sportscode solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hudl has helped the teams I coached on in problem-solving film study for the players. Hudl has made it easier for coaches and players to communicate without having to be in the same room for an hour a time. Also, it has helped in holding players accountable, by allowing coaches to see how long players have logged on to the platform. this feature also works for coaches as well. Lastly, HUdl is a good recruiting tool, because it takes away the need for video links to different platforms and keeps all video in one place. ### 10.
