"Transparent Time Tracking and Management"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

The biggest advantage for me is the ability to add specific projects to my dashboard and accurately measure the time spent on each one. It keeps everything organized and ensures that the hours I log are precise and structured. I also really appreciate the transparency. Both I and my client can clearly see the tracked hours. Compared to tracking time directly through a client’s internal system, Hubstaff feels more neutral and transparent. It reduces confusion around billing and eliminates back-and-forth discussions about logged time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

One limitation is that you can only be part of one organization at a time, which can be restrictive if you’re working with multiple clients or teams. Additionally, account creation and adding projects can occasionally lag. There have been instances where setup wasn’t seamless and required reaching out to support, which slows things down. "Highly recommend Hubstaff for accurate time tracking and team management"
4/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

What I like best about Hubstaff is its accurate time tracking and activity monitoring features. The automatic screenshots and activity levels help ensure transparency and accountability for remote teams. The detailed reports make it easy to analyze productivity patterns and identify areas for improvement. The interface is intuitive and the desktop app runs smoothly without slowing down my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

What I dislike about Hubstaff is that the constant monitoring can sometimes feel intrusive, even though I understand its purpose. The screenshot feature, while useful for accountability, can make team members feel like they're not trusted. Additionally, the pricing can become expensive as you scale up with more team members. The mobile app could also use some improvements in terms of functionality compared to the desktop version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seems a good platform, let's see."
2.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

The software is transparent, however, what bothers me is that they didn't package/distribute its tar ball for Linux, relying only on a bash file with another hardcoded .rar file. I'm having a headache trying to get it aligned. But I hope to succeed. Otherwise, the program is very interesting, and I think with the recent organizational and management changes, it has everything to grow more and more. Congratulations to the team. What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

I perceive a certain chaos in the organization just by looking at the forum; people seem lost. The QMs are trying very hard to help everyone, and I understand. But you could make the tracking more flexible; the Chrome extension should solve this by default. These are tasks that demand time, attention, and dedication; it's tiring. A reputation system for candidates is crucial, but it has to be efficient. I confess that what's probably hindering the synchronization between the app and the project is the timezone, which I've already corrected.

Now, regarding suggestions, you could drastically improve your skills area. You require experts to train artificial intelligence models, without any guarantee. I'm happy for the opportunity, but I don't understand why the skills area isn't better utilized. Or maybe I'm not an expert enough to meet all the parameters the algorithm requires.

In the end, I'm happy for the opportunity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hubstaff: Excellent for Time Tracking and Team Management!"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

As a new user, I'm already impressed by how intuitive and straightforward Hubstaff is for time tracking. It was incredibly easy to set up, and I quickly got the hang of tracking my hours and seeing my activity. The dashboard provides clear insights right away, which is a huge plus for staying organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

Since I'm still quite new to Hubstaff, I haven't encountered many significant downsides yet. Perhaps a slightly more prominent onboarding tour for all features could be helpful, but honestly, the tool is so user-friendly that it's been a non-issue. So far, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hubstaff Keeps Things Running Smoothly"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

The most valuable aspect of Hubstaff is its capacity to automate the entire process of time tracking, invoicing, and payroll for remote teams. The tool has the ability to integrate strict monitoring of the team’s activities (screenshots, activity levels) with automated financial processes, thus turning a tedious process into a single-click process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

On the basis of user reviews and feedback, it can be said that Hubstaff is a very powerful, yet sometimes intrusive, tool for tracking remote and distributed teams. It is very effective in its ability to track time automatically and accurately but is often panned for being very expensive and restrictive in its tracking features. "Very useful and good user experience with so much information."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

Hubstaff is very helpful for tracking time accurately and keeping projects organized. I like how easy it is to monitor hours worked, productivity levels, and task progress in real time. The automatic timesheets and activity tracking make payroll and reporting much simpler, saving administrative time. It also integrates well with project management tools, which helps streamline workflows and keep teams accountable, especially in remote environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

One downside of Hubstaff is that the activity monitoring (like screenshots and tracking) can feel intrusive at times and may impact employee morale. The interface can also take some time to get used to, particularly when managing multiple projects. Additionally, the pricing can be relatively high for small teams, and some advanced features are only available on higher-tier plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
