"Detailed Time Tracking with Easy Setup, Needs HR Improvements"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I like that it's very detailed in the record keeping. I like the interface because it's easy to use. I appreciate that the reports are very customizable and provide a lot of information and insights. I also like that it allows team members to use a single hub for time offs and invoicing submission. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

I'm not really loving the new time and activity report. I like the previous version better. Also, I feel that the part where we keep track of human resources could include some more HRIS functionalities. One of the biggest issues is that once we offboard a person from the company and delete their record, we don't keep historical records of the positions they held. I think that's something that could be improved, meaning keeping some functions active even after the record is deleted from Hubstaff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hubstaff Makes Remote Work Tracking Easy and Non-Disruptive"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

When you are working remotely, there's a need to ensure your team is actually working. Hubstaff does that without disrupting the employee's work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

I don't link that the developers update the software very often. When you open Hubstaff you don't want to be updating it, you just want to get to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Time Tracking Tool for Productivity and Accountability"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

What I like best about Hubstaff is its accurate and transparent time tracking. The automatic tracking, activity levels, and screenshot features make it very easy to monitor productivity without manual effort. The dashboard is clean, reports are detailed, and it integrates well with project management and payroll tools. It saves time, improves accountability, and helps teams stay focused on actual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

One downside of Hubstaff is that the monitoring features can feel intrusive for some team members, especially screenshots and activity tracking. The desktop app is required for full functionality, which can be inconvenient. Customization options for reports are limited, and pricing can feel high for small teams or freelancers compared to simpler time-tracking tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Easy-to-Use Time Tracking That Keeps Work Organized"
4/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

Hubstaff has been a reliable and easy-to-use time tracking tool. It helps keep work hours organized and transparent, making it easier to stay accountable and manage productivity. The interface is straightforward, and features like activity tracking and reports are helpful for monitoring progress. Overall, it’s a useful tool for maintaining structure and consistency in daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

One downside of Hubstaff is that the tracker can sometimes stop unexpectedly due to app updates or connectivity issues, which may result in missing time if not noticed right away. Additionally, tasks that require minimal keyboard or mouse activity (such as meetings or training videos) can be marked as idle, even though the user is actively working. This can require manual follow-ups or disputes to ensure time is accurately reflected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Accurate Time Tracking with Clear Productivity Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

What I like most about Hubstaff is how it combines simplicity with accuracy. It makes time tracking feel effortless for teams without coming across as intrusive. The real-time activity tracking, straightforward productivity reports, and clear project-by-project breakdown make it easier for managers to see where time is actually going. I also appreciate how smoothly it fits into existing workflows and tools, which makes it practical for real teams in day-to-day work rather than feeling like a purely theoretical tracking system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

What I dislike about Hubstaff is that some features feel a bit rigid when it comes to customisation. For instance, task and project management could be more flexible, and some workflows end up requiring workarounds via APIs or integrations to get things done the way I need. "Streamlined Time Tracking and Payroll Efficiency"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I really love the payroll feature of Hubstaff. It's been a huge time and cost saver for our company, especially since we work with employees in over 10 countries. Before Hubstaff, we had to do payroll manually, which was time-consuming and prone to human error. The payroll integration makes the process so much easier and simpler as we have grown. It also gives us quick insights into work volume, acting as a general gauge to understand what is going on in connection with KPI's, helping managers with reviewing timesheets for payroll. The setup was pretty straightforward for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

We wish that employees were able to pull pay slips that show the company name on them instead of the payment platform that the payment came through. Something that looked more official and similar to what you would see from a US-based HRIS. We have to manually edit pay slips to have them show our company information on them so that our employees can use them for things like loans and rental applications. "Streamlined Time Tracking with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I like the easy time tracking, productivity monitoring, and detailed reports in Hubstaff. The easy tracking saves time, productivity tools keep me focused, and the reports give me clear insights for better decisions. The setup for Hubstaff was quick and straightforward, with a minimal learning curve for the team. We switched to Hubstaff from another time tracking tool for better features and ease of use. I’d rate Hubstaff a 9 out of 10 for recommendations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

Hubstaff could improve its UI, make reports more customizable, and reduce occasional tracking glitches. It could enhance by simplifying navigation, adding a cleaner dashboard, and allowing more flexible filters, layout, and export options in reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hubstaff: Payroll and Attendance Made Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I really appreciate how Hubstaff handles payroll, attendance, and leave management, breaking everything down in a clear summary. It's important to me because, well, money is everything, and I give this feature a perfect 10 out of 10. I also find Hubstaff very easy to use, it's user-friendly, and I switched to it because it's more reliant than what I was using before. I’d rate the setup process around nine or ten out of ten. The software provides helpful insights for my productivity, helping me figure out what I need to do next by checking it both on the website and application. Overall, it’s really handy as it can track everything I need efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

Sometimes it's a little bit laggy, but I don't know if that would be on my device or on the tax side. That's not a big deal for me because it is just a little problem. But it's fixable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhances Team Transparency and Efficiency"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I primarily use Hubstaff for time tracking and generating reports for client billing. It simplifies tracking hours and ensures transparency when working with clients. Hubstaff helps solve the lack of visibility in remote work by providing activity tracking and time logs, making it easy to understand how time is being spent and improving overall team transparency. I really like the combination of time tracking and activity monitoring in one place. Features like screenshots and activity levels provide useful insight without needing extra tools. Together, these features improve both efficiency and trust within the team. The setup was simple and efficient with a small learning curve for some features, but nothing too complicated. Once configured, it runs very smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

The reporting features are helpful, but I'd like more customization options for generating detailed reports. It would make analysis and client reporting even more flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
