"Time Tracking for Remote Project Work"
4/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

Hubstaff is very easy to use for tracking work time. I like that I can quickly start and stop the timer while I’m working on my tasks, and it records my hours accurately. It helps me stay organized and makes it simple to log each work session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

Sometimes the activity tracking feels a bit too strict. If I pause or stop using the keyboard or mouse even briefly, the activity percentage drops. I’d appreciate a little more flexibility in how activity is measured so short breaks don’t affect the score so quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Time Tracking with Detailed Activity Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I use Hubstaff to track my team's time and activity, and it's been reliable and easy to use. So far it's been able to cover everything that I need for my company. The feature I like most is the analysis of my people's performance, especially their keyboard and mouse activity, along with the screenshots it takes every five or ten minutes. The initial setup was smooth and easy, with the best support from the Hubstaff team. We switched from Time Doctor because we wanted a more thorough analysis of keyboard and mouse activity with those screenshots, and Hubstaff gave us that. It's also helped with the visibility of my people, and the issues we used to have before with people frequently being out have lessened down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Clean UI, and Reliable Time Tracking with Hubstaff"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

What I like most about Hubstaff is how easy it is to use right from the start. The setup process is straightforward, so we were able to implement it quickly without a steep learning curve. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes daily time tracking simple and efficient for the whole team.

Hubstaff also offers a solid range of features without feeling overwhelming. From time tracking and activity monitoring to reports and integrations, everything works smoothly together. We use it every day, and it’s been reliable and consistent. On top of that, their customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions. Overall, it’s a well-rounded tool that fits easily into our workflow and integrates nicely with other platforms we already use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

There isn’t much to dislike, but there are a few areas where Hubstaff could improve. While the core features are easy to use, some of the more advanced settings and reports take a bit of time to fully understand, especially for new users. A little more in-app guidance during setup would make implementation even smoother.

The feature set is solid, but occasional customization limitations can feel restrictive depending on how your team works. Integrations generally work well, though there are times when syncing with other tools isn’t as seamless as expected. Customer support is helpful overall, but response times can vary. These aren’t deal breakers, but small refinements in these areas would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Navigation, Valuable Time Tracking"
4/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I find Hubstaff really easy to navigate, which is great. I like the easy interface and how the application pops up automatically logging me out after eight hours, making it easier to not remember to log out after my shift. It's been a really good time tracking application for me while working at home. The initial setup was very easy - I just downloaded it and our IT guy added a project so that tracking time became easier, which made the transition smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

What can be improved so far probably is scheduling lunch if we can set it up so that it will automatically take us out on lunch instead of us reminding ourselves to log out and then log back in, which sometimes I kinda miss so far two times already. There's still some tutorials that I have to go through before I fully understand how Hubstaff works, and it will be easier if we already have the tutorial available prior to downloading it from the Hubstaff website so that we don't need to look for it and learn by ourselves.
