"Reliable tool for Remote worforce Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

What I like most about Hubstaff is how simple it makes make time tracking without feeling intrusive. The interface is clean and easy to use, so it doesn't take much effort to start or stop tracking time, even for someone new to tool. I also appreciate the level of detail it provides - things like activity levels, reports, and project breakdowns help me understand where time is actually going.

Another big plus is the transparency it brings to team management. It's easy to see who's working on what, which is really helpful for remote teams. At the same time, it does not feel overly complicated or heavy compared to some other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

One thing I dislike about Hubstaff is that some of its monitoring features can feel a bit intrusive, especially things like screenshots and activity tracking. While I understand their purpose, they can create a sense of being constantly watched rather than trusted, which might not sit well with everyone on a team.

I have also noticed that the desktop app can occasionally lag or have minor sync issues, which can interrupt workflow. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does affect overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate, Efficient Screenshot and Time Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

Accuracy & efficiency with screenshots and time tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

I believe it's still unable to track if there's a mouse jiggler/timer. I have one employee who I had been tracking, having 100% mouse usage with no keyboard usage and no changes in the screenshots for 40 minutes to 80 minutes exactly a time, daily. Hubstaff flagged it as unusual, but there's no setting for me to disallow or auto clock them out for this behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Accurate Time Tracking with Powerful Reports and Smooth Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

Hubstaff is very easy to use and makes time tracking straightforward and accurate. I especially like the automatic time tracking, activity monitoring, and detailed reports, which help support productivity and accountability. The team management and collaboration features are also useful, particularly for remote teams. It integrates smoothly with other tools and offers good value for money overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

At times, the app can feel a bit intrusive because of the activity tracking and screenshot capture. The mobile app also has room for improvement, and I’ve run into occasional syncing and performance issues. On top of that, some of the more advanced features are limited to higher-priced plans, which isn’t always ideal for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Accurate Time Tracking That Keeps Remote Work Organized"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

What I like most about Hubstaff is how easy it is to use, along with its accurate time-tracking features. While working remotely, it helped me track my hours efficiently and stay organized throughout the day. The desktop app ran smoothly, and the automatic time tracking made it simple to record the time I spent across different tasks and projects.

I also appreciated the clear reporting features, which added transparency for both employees and managers. Overall, Hubstaff streamlined productivity tracking and made it easy to manage work hours without relying on manual timesheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

I did not experience any major issues with Hubstaff. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the desktop timer can sometimes feel like an extra step when switching between tasks or projects. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall benefits of accurate time tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"time tracking made easier and not disruptive"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

As a remote worker, I understand the need to make sure your team is actually working. And Hubstaff is a very easy to use (literally you need to hit play and pause) and non-disruptive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

the developers update the software quite often. It's tiresome to update the software so often. When you open Hubstaff you just want to hit play and start working, you don't want to be waisting time updating the software so often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Improve Productivity with Detailed Statistics"
4/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I like using Hubstaff because it helps me track my time as a freelancer and helps me measure my productivity, allowing me to see how much time I was active or idle. I also love being able to review the statistics, as they help me discover how much time I spend on each window and improve my productivity. I like that Hubstaff is multiplatform because it allows me to set it up quickly on Windows, Linux, and Android. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

Hubstaff sometimes marks you as completely inactive during meetings, which can make the statistics somewhat misleading. I would like there to be an option to add the type of work I am doing, as without a deep analysis, the statistics may not accurately reflect my activity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Timekeeping, Highly Recommend"
5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I like most the ease of use with Hubstaff. The platform is very simple to use, making it easy for me to log in, set the timer, and get started. It's straightforward and ready to go. The initial setup was super easy too. All I had to do was download the app, open it, and it updated and installed by itself. Once it was installed, I was ready to go, which I find really convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

Sometimes when I'm on different projects, Hubstaff doesn't really correlate very well. I have to delete a Hubstaff and start a new one just because I'm on different projects and platforms. I wish it could be more cohesive with my different projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Time Tracking with User-Friendly Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

I find Hubstaff simple to use, and the reports and most features are pretty user-friendly. The screenshots and unusual activity alerts are valuable for verifying work and ensuring the team is actively engaged without making assumptions. Hubstaff's PTO management is simple across various policies. I appreciate the timeline feature for promoting healthy working habits among my team. Adding new employees and setting up PTO policies and reports is extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

PTO policies are currently limited to start in January. It would be great if you could set them up to the person's start date as well. Also, when requesting, a lot of my employees have issues with understanding why their balance already looks like they have less since it automatically decreases the 8h the system assumes they're gonna request. It's a little misleading. Also, when editing/changing policies, it would be great of balances could be transferred from one policy to another without having to decrease and increase each person's balance between poliices manually Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Hubstaff for its time tracking and productivity monitoring features. It makes it easy to track work hours accurately, manage tasks, and stay organized while working remotely. I also appreciate the simple interface and reporting tools, which help improve accountability and workflow. The time tracking feature helps me stay accountable and manage my work hours efficiently, especially when handling multiple tasks remotely. Additionally, the setup was pretty easy and simple, with a clear introduction, and I managed to set it up within two minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

One area Hubstaff could improve is making some features more customizable, especially within reporting and active tracking. Occasionally, the desktop app can feel a bit intensive with screenshots and monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Use and Excellent for Time Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hubstaff?

What I like most about Hubstaff is the ease of use, whether on a mobile device, a desktop, or in web applications, everything is synchronized and easy to use. It is a very easy-to-use tool, very useful, and it quickly integrates with business use. Additionally, it was very easy to set up, it was directly linked to my personal email, and I could also see it associated with the company's email without any problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

It happened to me that at one point I couldn't see the project I had assigned to a company in Hubstaff, and I know it's a matter that the company had to request. However, it might be important that through Hubstaff a direct link with the company can also be made to confirm the time requirement more quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
