"HubSpot Marketing Hub: Scalable Game-Changer for Targeted Email Automation"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

Hubspot Marketing Hub has been a complete game changer for my company since implementation. Through setting up detailed marketing email workflows with targeted trigger actions based on a variety of user actions, our team has been able to provide the exact type of content the user is interested in - all through simple to setup automations. I think the Hubspot team is well trained on their system and tools and always available to assist with questions or roadblocks. Marketing Hub has allowed for greater performance opportunities and given our business the tools to scale exponentially, while providing value to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

The only concern that I ever have in using Hubspot Marketing Hub is in regards to the Marketing Contact Tier levels and Credit Usage. Simply by going over the tier limit by 1 contact automatically pushes the account subscription into the next higher tier up, which is expensive if not truly needed. "HubSpot marketing emails: easy to use and clear stats to track your results"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

What I used the most in the marketing portion of HubSpot were mainly the marketing emails. I launched a few email campaigns with the tool and found it very easy to use. It is also simple to check the statistics afterwards, which helps in tracking the results. I recommend this tool. It is free up to a certain sending limit; otherwise, there are paid plans with fewer limits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

What I like less about the module is that most of the elements are only available in the paid plan. Hubspot is a powerful CRM, but there are so many paid options that I always feel limited, and it's annoying. The costs become quite high if you want to take several modules, like marketing, sales, etc. For example, interesting tools, but unfortunately inaccessible for me with the free plan: SEO, social media, campaigns, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Customer Follow-Ups Organized with Automated Workflows and Email Sequences"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

HubSpot Marketing Hub has been really helpful for keeping our customer communication and follow-up efforts organized. We especially use features like automated workflows and email sequences to make sure follow-ups are timely and consistent, without everything having to be done manually.

One thing I also appreciate is how easy it is to keep contact details and activity in one place. It helps cut down on back-and-forth between different systems and makes it easier to keep things moving.

Another helpful feature is the AI-assisted contact enrichment when adding new contacts. It saves time and makes it easier to build out contact records without having to search through LinkedIn, email signatures, or other sources.

Overall, it’s been a useful platform for helping our team stay efficient and organized in how we manage marketing communication and follow-ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

As you grow, costs can increase pretty quickly, especially when adding more contacts or upgrading tiers.

While basic features are easy to use, some of the more advanced workflows and automation take time to fully learn.|

Setting up workflows and sequences can be a bit overwhelming initially until you get used to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless CRM Integration and Intuitive UI Make HubSpot a Standout"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

1. The Single Source of Truth (CRM Integration)

This is the core differentiator. Because the Marketing Hub is built on the HubSpot Smart CRM, you don't need complex integrations to pass data between sales and marketing.

2. Closed-Loop Reporting (Revenue Attribution)

Because the marketing tools talk to the deal pipeline, HubSpot excels at showing you exactly which marketing efforts resulted in actual revenue, not just clicks or leads.

3. Ease of Use (UI/UX)

Compared to enterprise competitors like Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo, HubSpot has a significantly lower learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

1. The Contact Tier Pricing Trap

HubSpot charges based on the number of marketing contacts you have. The price doesn't just increase linearly; it often jumps significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customisable email templates and native CTAs, but Starter is limited and upgrades get pricey"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I'm using Hubspot's Marketing Hub Starter package, which has very limited capabilities. One thing I do like, though, is its e-mail templates. Those are very easy to set up and greatly speed up the process.

Another great feature is its customisable CTAs (pop-ups, slide-ins, and buttons). There are many templates to choose from; find the one that best suits your needs. I've used the CTA pop-ups from HubSpot on my Elementor website, and since the data collection is native to HubSpot, you can skip linking apps like Zapier or Make. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

The starter version is very limited in what it offers, and the price becomes very expensive once you have to upgrade from the starter package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Truly Integrated Marketing Platform That Keeps Getting Better"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

It's a truly integrated product with everything relevant for Marketing: the website, email, sales, CS and more. And they're constantly improving the platform in a pace that I've never seen before. Of course AI is big part of the new features, but also a lot of other improvements. The platform is quite stable and the UI, even though not consistent in all areas, is quite easy to use. HS is clearly working on making UI things more universal, but they're not fully there yet. The pricing model based on used marketing contacts is decent, and via automations etc it's well possible to keep that number under control by removing contacts that don't engage from the list of marketing contacts. Support is decent, although sometimes it's hard to get past the 1st-line support in case of more complex issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

Not much to complain in general. One thing I truly found hard to grasp though is that marketing contacts that unsubscribed could not be resubscribed by them filling out a new form. The only way to resubscribe them was through the 'manage preferences' link in an email they received in the past. I haven't looked into this recently but I cannot recall having seen this changed. Their out of the box preference center was kind of lame. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Limitless customization that's finally manageable with a little AI help."
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

The level of customization is awesome; you can basically build out whatever you can imagine. It’s a complex system, which used to be a major hurdle, but now that I can use AI to help me navigate and build within it, I’m able to do way more than I could before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

The complexity can still be a lot to handle sometimes. It’s also not always clear why some data is being measured and some isn't. My biggest gripes are the reporting delays—I'll check a report at noon and it'll be empty because yesterday's data hasn't processed yet. It would be great if the system actually notified you or gave you some guidance when that’s happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HubSpot Marketing Hub is the operational backbone for our GTM automation and growth systems"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

HubSpot Marketing Hub is extremely powerful as a central GTM operations layer. As someone running growth systems and AI-driven outbound programs, what stands out is how flexible the platform is for orchestrating workflows, signals, and integrations.

The workflow engine is one of the biggest strengths. We use it to automate lead routing, lifecycle stage management, enrichment triggers, and campaign attribution. Combined with custom properties and lists, it makes it possible to build fairly sophisticated automation without needing heavy engineering resources.

The ecosystem and integrations are also excellent. It connects cleanly with tools like Clay, CommonRoom, enrichment providers, and outbound platforms. This makes it much easier to build multi-signal growth systems and connect marketing activity with sales workflows.

Another major benefit is how marketing, sales, and product signals can live in the same system. That shared data layer helps teams move faster and keeps reporting consistent across the GTM org.

Overall it strikes a good balance between power and usability - marketers can operate it day to day, while GTM engineers can still build more advanced automation and integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

As you start pushing HubSpot into more advanced GTM automation use cases, a few limitations become more noticeable.

The workflow engine, while powerful, can become difficult to manage at scale. When you have many automation flows running across different teams, debugging and maintaining them can get complex. Better observability and dependency mapping between workflows would help a lot.

Some of the more advanced capabilities - like custom behavioral scoring, attribution modeling, or deep data transformations - still require workarounds or external tooling.

Pricing can also scale quickly once you start using multiple hubs or need higher contact tiers, which can make experimentation more expensive for growing teams.

Finally, while integrations are generally strong, certain APIs and sync behaviors can sometimes lag or require careful monitoring when you’re running high-volume automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Customer Engagement, Needs Workflow Simplicity"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I enjoy the ability to email specific people about specific things and be very intentional with who I'm emailing and what I'm emailing them about. Whether that be expansion or advocacy items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

For me, I guess the segment creation is a little bit clunky. Even though we are integrating with our CRM, it is a little bit clunky and tough to create segments. And also the workflows section doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. There's too many ways to create branches. And while that's nice for customization, something more easy would be appreciated and especially, like, using maybe AI to create segments would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"How HubSpot Marketing Hub Supports Scalable Marketing"
What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I like how intuitive it is while still being really powerful. You don’t need to be a marketing ops expert to launch campaigns, build workflows, or track performance. At the same time, the data is there whenever you want to dig deeper, and honestly, the automation saves a ton of time. Once everything is set up properly, it genuinely feels like the platform is doing part of the work for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

What I like least is that it can get expensive pretty quickly, especially once you start needing more seats, reporting, or larger contact volumes. Some of the best features sit behind higher tiers, which can be frustrating when you know the platform is capable of more.

Integration is very easy, but implementation sometimes requires additional training. That can make it hard to pull people away from their day-to-day tasks to do the learning. I also wish it were a bit more beginner-friendly, because it affects its frequency of use by regular users in comparison with super admins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
