The platform does take some time to get used to from a host and registree perspective. It's not as intituative as Zoom for example.

We also ran into a couple of issues with the share screen option even on Google Chrome. Whenever the speakers tried to share their screen, they could but they wouldn't be able to see the live stream screen anymore. The workaround we did was to have the host share their screen instead and even as a host we couldn't see the live stream anymore. The ability to not also share video is a con. Think of the features that make a Virtual Conference work. Hubilo has them. Our staff wanted a Lounge where attendees could meet face-to-face. We wanted simplicity since many of our attendees are not computer savvy, and English is difficult for many. And we wanted Contests to make the conference fun. Of course, we also wanted a full-featured virtual conference venue with excellent networking options and great presentation spaces for multiple tracks. Hubilo delivered and was quite easy to set up. The resulting conference website is very logical, as is the set-up process. The post-event extra costs were surprising. They could have been much more explicit about which features were included and which were not. The instructions are simplistic, repeating the obvious and missing all of the confusing issues. The writers of the instructions need to watch confused users stubble through their first time setting up each part, or talk with the Tech Support staff, who are excellent, and found answers to even the most complex questions. Of course, these are the weaknesses of a rapidly developing system and the kinks will likely be worked out with a bit more time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we discovered Hubilo Platform in September 2020, we found as best elements, the following:

- friendly interface;

- easy way to use both for us as PCO, and for Participants

- good value for money
