What do you dislike about Hub Intranet?

It can become out of date and difficult to use if poorly maintained and if employees aren’t properly trained or see little value in using the intranet, they may not adopt it as part of their daily workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hub Intranet solving and how is that benefiting you?

It boosted productivity as it supports workflows like request forms, downloading templates, downloading artwork and accessing training guides which reduces the need for manual processing and cutting down response times.

It acts as a central hub where all employees can access company-wide announcements, updates, and policies which for us reduces the chances of miscommunication.

It also supports consistent branding by ensuring that messaging is consistent across departments, maintaining company culture and values.

What do you like best about Hub Intranet?

As a nonprofit Program Director, I've used Hub Intranet for three years as our primary platform to connect with volunteers, drive communities, and deliver program resources. I found many features of the Hub well-suited to young adult and adult users, including their intuitive design of our mainframe pages and community spaces. As a platform systems admin, the carousels, news features, and community spaces made daily updates and management of resources easy, and my team needed almost no assistance beyond initial onboarding and minor task support.

The best part about my experience working with Hub Intranet is the customer support I receive from my consistent Hub Intranet contact, Martin. In three years, Martin's care and diligent support have improved volunteer login rates by over 200%. Each call I have with Martin is a wonderful and productive experience, and he offers consistently helpful advice on using different Hub features to meet the needs of our organization and program, further driving stakeholder engagement and scaling our national reach. Any issues we encountered (only a few in three years) were handled with speed and clear communication and resolved within a business day, if not faster. What do you like best about Hub Intranet?

It's quite intuitive and easy to set up and maintain for admin users, and easy and eye-catching for an organisation's general users. It's great value for money, some intranet software tools are very expensive, and as a charity, there was a further discount rate which made it possible for us to afford this.

One of the best things ever has been the customer service. The Hub team are so friendly, were amazing at helping us get set up, and continue to be super responsive and helpful if we ever have any queries about how to do something on the intranet. There is a helpful guide available too, and I like the functionality updates we get.

We've now used this software for a few years, and we get great feedback from staff. We also have someone from each team update certain sections of our intranet, and it's easy enough for them to be able to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hub Intranet?

A few things are a bit finnicky and it took a while for our admin users to get our heads around certain bits of the functionality, but this isn't a real downside as we soon got used to it, and my being pleased at the range of functionality far outweighs learning how to use it and the software's limitations. I haven't encountered many ideas, so far, that we haven't been able to bring to life on our intranet.

Another point that isn't a dislike, as such, is that I would advise a company looking into an intranet to compare the 'look' of different pieces of software. I love the look of the Hub intranet, and it fits our organisation really well, but it may not be for everyone, especially in particular corporate environments. Recommendations to others considering Hub Intranet:

Make sure that the 'look' is right for you. This intranet is also great if its adminstrators will be people with no real IT or technical experience, as it is easy to set up and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our intranet is a tool for internal communications, has cut down on email traffic, and is a resource store, particularly for the HR team. Now that we have it, we would never look back.

It's a great place to share news and updates with staff, store resources, and increase employee engagement - we can add polls, get staff to send in photos to share etc. It's also great to get people to read certain documents and policies, and to track who has done so. It can be very interactive, photo gallery, competitions, polls, videos, CPD you name it! Use it regularly to keep oen communications with the teams I am reaching. Easy to use and gained confidence over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

John and Martin at Pancentric are fantastic, with support, ideas and their time. I was a total novice and they helped me so much get the best out of the Hub. Due to other IT or security issues I often cant send material directly and use the Hub as a storage / sharing system which helps. I share MI, larger files, videos etc which are shared easily. What do you like best about Hub Intranet?

The hub is very user friendly and visually pleasing. We use it as a Knowledge Hub and it is an integral part of knowledge sharing within our organisation. It helps us to connect and share information across a large number of departments and it is very easy to edit and create new content. I also like the reporting capabilities as they really help us to monitor and examine knowledge utilisation within the organisation. The hub is a great way to signpost internal comms and get staff involved. Over recent years we have focused on putting our staff at the forefront of our content and people love to engage with it. What do you like best about Hub Intranet?

Whenever I am asked whether we can do something, or where we can host something to do with our people and culture, I have pleasure in saying 'our intranet can do that'. What do you like best about Hub Intranet?

It has been great for us working remotely, we are trying to get our staff engaged as much as possible and this is a good place to start. The support from John has been very good and will always do his best to help me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hub Intranet?

When trying to upload pictures if they are not the exact size it can become very time consuming. I don't like that there is no search option for the page icons, searching for them all is annoying and maybe missing a few basic icons that should be there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
