What do you like best about HTML2PDF API?

One of the things I genuinely appreciate about HTML2PDF API is how straightforward it is to use. The learning curve is practically zero—just send your HTML content via a simple POST request and you get a clean, well-formatted PDF in return. It’s fast, reliable, and doesn’t require you to install or manage any libraries or packages locally. The support for CSS and images is also impressive. I’ve thrown some fairly complex layouts at it. What problems is HTML2PDF API solving and how is that benefiting you?

turning web content into professionally formatted PDFs without having to manage a local rendering engine or deal with complex libraries. Now I no longer use like wkhtmltopdf or DomPDF. I Love the idea that I can just design the layout in HTML/CSS (which I already know), send it to the API, and instantly get a pixel-perfect PDF in return. it lets me focus on content and design, while it handles all the backend rendering logic. What do you like best about HTML2PDF API?

In html2pdf, we can easily convert HTML content into a PDF by referencing HTML tags or objects. Additionally, we can include a watermark as a header and automatically add page numbers as a footer on each page. This functionality is especially useful for creating reports, such as when the details are available on a website, allowing us to automatically generate a professional PDF report with minimal effort. What do you dislike about HTML2PDF API?

In html2pdf, there is an issue where we need to calculate the font size based on the PDF page size and adjust the HTML content accordingly. If we don't do this, the HTML content written to the PDF may not be fully visible. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the appropriate font size and structure the content to fit across multiple pages as needed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In my project, I use the html2pdf API to generate reports for events, which are sent to the UGC to showcase the progress made by each event. "This is the best HTML to PDF you can find"

What do you like best about HTML2PDF API?

I like the quality and accuracy of this application which is up to a pixel, there are hundreds application you can find for rendering html and I couldn't find anything more accurate than this. The other thing I like about HTML2PDF is the API setting page. You can customize everything with advanced settings in a simple design page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HTML2PDF API?

I think the price options too high. The free version has watermark which can't be use for anything except for test, the the price starting from $20 for 1k pdf monthly! So if a website need the API for 500 pdf in month, should pay for 1k pdf, also if a website need 1500 pdf in month, should pay $40! I think this price plan is very bad and if you want to use HTML2PDF API, contact them for annual subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HTML2PDF API solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to render HTML with customize settings, like pages size and margins, zoom levels and etc, the problem was to find an application that render HTML without any font problem, and reducing quality when you zoom the invoices.
