I did not have a favorable experience with HTK after five years with them Not one single aspect of that operation is what I would consider easy, valuable, or worth it. Not one redeemable quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HTK (Hidden Markov Model Toolkit)?

No client support. Extremely limited access to NetX360. No training based on practice demands and what the professional needs from them. They seem bothered with inquiries and always assume that the representative is somehow doing something wrong. Very difficult client experience with many complaining about access to account and receiving statements that actually have detail. HTK is the Devil. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to add words to a dictionary. Given that what I worked with was domain specific, it was important to be able to add words easily. I also liked that it was available offline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A bit tedious to set up at the time given that I had limited experience. Stackoverflow definitely had a lot of resources that helped however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Use stackoverflow if you run into issues. There are lot of people asking questions in the past so that's how I was able to get past a lot of issues regarding setup and implementation issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
