## Hoxhunt Reviews
  ### 1. Engaging and Effective, Yet Needs Email Context Sensitivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krista L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I love that Hoxhunt is very realistic and that it has trained me to be more cautious about emails that I receive. I also like the game feature it has, like the leaderboard where you can compete against coworkers, other schools, and companies. It's pretty motivating! The initial setup was super easy; I think I just clicked a link or something. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

My coworker mentioned an issue where receiving a fake email from our principal on a weekend seemed really casual and a bit inappropriate. It made her think poorly of him initially, wondering why he contacted her over the weekend or why he spoke so informally given their relationship. She thought that was definitely crossing a line, and that the "phishing" shouldn't shouldn't cause one to have negative feelings about one's coworkers or bosses, even if it's fake.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt doesn't necessarily solve problems but helps me avoid becoming a victim of scams. I love that it's very realistic and has trained me to be more cautious about emails.

  ### 2. Hoxhunt Makes Phishing Reporting Effortless And Engaging With The Milestone Based Gamification

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt is an excellent tool that gives me confidence when dealing with external emails, thanks to its one-click phishing reporting and identification. The UI is intuitive, and the gamification through milestones is genuinely engaging and keeps me involved.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The phishing simulations can feel very similar to one another.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a solid layer of protection against malicious phishing attempts and keeps me up to date on new types of phishing emails.

  ### 3. Realistic and Effective Training against Phishing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt is very easy to use, very dynamic, and acts as real-life training. The fact that it provides feedback is very useful because it not only tells you if you did well or poorly in reporting something, but it also explains what was good and bad, gives you similar examples, and helps to enrich your knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

In my opinion, there are only emails that it marks as having arrived and I ignored them, but in reality, they never reached my inbox. It was just one of the test emails that says I never saw it or reported it, but when I checked my inbox, it wasn't there. I usually keep my emails up to date, and the one it marks never arrived.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt trains my team to identify phishing emails, prevents identity spoofing, and provides valuable feedback. It is simple, dynamic, and simulates real situations, enriching our knowledge in cybersecurity.

  ### 4. Quick and Efficient Phishing Detection Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorinda B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt is very quick and efficient. It lets me know immediately whether I was correct about an email being phishing or spam, which reaffirms my decisions. It's also right there on my app and screen, so I can easily report suspicious emails at any moment I need to. It's incredibly easy to use, especially with its seamless integration into my Outlook.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The ones that I miss, I would like to have a little bit more information on about why I miss them. So some of them get very well written. I want them to be more in detailed exactly about what was missed so I can start utilizing that information and really scanning more closely and completely the emails that come in.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to report phishing or suspicious emails, which helps me identify if they're threats. It sharpens my skills, making me more observant and quickly confirms if I correctly identified emails. This boosts my awareness and ensures I notice credible threats.

  ### 5. Gamified Learning

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I use Hoxhunt in the office to report cases of suspected scam/spam/fraud related to emails and for training in the same area. It helps me stay "aware" on cybersecurity topics. I find the "gamified" approach interesting. I like gamification because over time it becomes more and more engaging. I appreciate the immediate feedback, it makes the cause-effect link more understandable and contextual in relation to the reporting event. The installation was simple because it was deployed from the center.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

After a while, Hoxhunt becomes repetitive. The pattern 'report -> click -> compliment message -> do you want to play a game?' is a very static pattern. There is a performance issue because each time it sends you to an external web page for interaction, and this consumes PC resources.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to report cases of suspected scam/spam/fraud emails and for training in the field. It helps me stay aware of cybersecurity issues with a gamified approach that becomes engaging, and the immediate feedback makes the cause-effect relationship more understandable.

  ### 6. Interactive, Game-Like Learning That Keeps Me Coming Back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viktoriia T. | Service Processing Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I really enjoy the interactive features and the platform’s “game” format. It feels educational in a fun, gaming-style way, and it keeps me motivated to continue learning and working through the challenges as I reach new levels.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Some of the emails that get sent for review as “scams” are pretty obvious, so it usually doesn’t take much effort to figure them out and I would love to increase the difficulty.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying alert and aware of corporate breaches, and understanding how to avoid them.

  ### 7. Empowering Phishing Defense with Realistic Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allana S. | Executive Assistant, Renewables & Environment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I really appreciate Hoxhunt for its realistic examples, which are instrumental in teaching me about potential security threats such as phishing scams. The scenarios presented are not just educational but also easy to understand, which significantly enhances my learning experience. These examples have been incredibly practical because I have encountered actual emails or phone calls that employed methods similar to those shared by Hoxhunt, and thanks to the comprehensive training emails, I was able to identify these as security risks. The initial setup of Hoxhunt was very easy too, as our company facilitated the installation on our internal intranet, making it seamlessly accessible for download and use. Overall, my experience with Hoxhunt has been extremely positive, warranting my willingness to recommend it with a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I would like to see improvements in the attachment protection features of Hoxhunt. Specifically, I think there needs to be more transparency and insights into what attachments are being blocked and the reasons behind their blockage.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to learn about IT security, detect phishing scams, and identify threatening emails using realistic examples and easy-to-understand explanations that have helped me spot actual security risks.

  ### 8. Essential Tool for Email Security and Spam Control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adit U.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I find Hoxhunt really useful because it's very easy to report spam emails or any kind of potentially dangerous communication, which makes things much safer for me and my organization. It helps us stay safe from unwanted emails, like spam or clickbait, and provides valuable lessons on how to recognize and respond to such emails. The tool has simplified the process so much that by just clicking a button, I can know if an email is trustworthy or not. Additionally, the fact that Hoxhunt blocks communication from potential phishing or spam channels makes it very valuable and provides a safety net over us. I believe the ease of setup is another advantage, and overall, it definitely protects my organization.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Sometimes there are emails which Hoxhunt can't detect as phishing or spam, so we have to manually mark them. It would be great if Hoxhunt could update its database with these kinds of emails or scenarios, so it can automatically detect them before the user does and block them.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to report spam and phishing emails for safety and security. It helps my organization stay safe from unwanted emails, offers lessons on handling emails, and provides an easy reporting process. It protects my organization by blocking spam and phishing emails.

  ### 9. Effortless, Engaging Training That Fits Seamlessly Into the Workday

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Account executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt is extremely easy to use and does a great job of training users without feeling overwhelming. The simulated phishing emails are realistic and actually help build good habits. I like that it teaches you why something is suspicious instead of just telling you that you failed. The platform runs quietly in the background and only takes a few seconds to complete each task, so it fits naturally into the workday. The reporting button is simple, fast, and reliable, and the points system keeps the training engaging.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Some of the simulations tend to feel repetitive, and at times the emails are so obvious that they lose their usefulness. I also find myself wishing that the feedback provided after reporting was more detailed, as this would help users better understand the red flags. Aside from these points, the system functions smoothly and does not disrupt my workflow.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps our organization stay ahead of phishing attempts by training users to recognize and report suspicious emails instantly. It solves the problem of inconsistent security awareness by giving everyone the same hands-on practice in real-world scenarios. The platform makes it easy to develop better instincts, reduces the chances of someone clicking something dangerous, and improves overall security habits across the team. It also keeps the training quick and low-effort, which means people actually use it.

  ### 10. Fun, Engaging, and Effective Phishing Defense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kerri K. | Sr. Paralegal, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt is formatted as a game, kind of like a format where we can be competitive across the organization. It's fun to see how we're measuring up to our peers, and it keeps us engaged and continually learning.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The only downside that I got is that I have clicked on a couple emails, but that's the nature of the program is to try to trick you into clicking on these things. And, I have. Clicked on a few. But that just reinforces the learning.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt educates us on fraudulent and phishing emails, helping protect against scammers using different methods to defraud us individually or as a company.

  ### 11. Fun, Game-Style Learning That Keeps Me Coming Back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Al C. | Project Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I enjoy the game style of the learning part; it makes learning fun and looking to go to the next level. Not boring or complicated instructions.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I wish I can have an extra opportunity to keep the track floating, meaning after a couple of good record, you build a time line but if you get a wrong one (you clicked on a phishing email) then your strike breaks and goes back to 0, wish it gives you like once a month an extra life in cases that happens.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training is personalized and integrates real world scenarios

  ### 12. Hoxhunt Makes Phishing Training Fun with Gamified High Scores

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebekah A. | Business Development Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I think companies that gamify mundane activities are great. Who would've ever thought I'd get excited to spot and report a phishing email at work? Not me, but yet this is where I find myself, celebrating my high scores and being in the upper percentiles of the company when it comes to the efficiencies of spotting and reporting dodgy looking emails. Yay for Hoxhunt!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing to dislike, except I cant seem to figure out how to view the Hoxhunt dashboard in my Outlook lately

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a way to incentivize employees and make it “fun” for them to spot and take action on phishing emails, helping ensure better data security.

  ### 13. Interactive, Game-Based Phishing Training That Makes Learning Fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo P. | Senior Buying Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

This isn’t the typical security software you see from every company. It takes things to another level by being interactive and including small games that help you learn more about what phishing emails can look like. I find it much more interesting to learn this way than to sit through a 40-minute training.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I dont have any complains right now. However, I am not able to check the leaderboard that easily.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way people are learning about phishing and scam emails, now I feel like I pay more attention to detial when it comes to emails thatg are not really regular.

  ### 14. Empowers Cybersecurity Awareness Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steffen S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like Hoxhunt for its achievements, training, and knowledge features. The achievements give me a feeling of getting better, and the training sharpens my mind to spot threats. I also appreciate the insight the knowledge provides on what, how, and where threats may show themselves. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Hoxhunt to be rather easy.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The simulations coming in outside of my working hours (6:30-14:30 local time).

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to train people in spotting spam and virtual threats, solving the lack of awareness about hacker access. The achievements make me feel like I'm improving, while the training and gained knowledge sharpen my mind and provide insight into potential threats.

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

It shows a very varied set of phishing simulation. They keep it changing, and it forces you to stay on your toes. I feel like I've learned through using Hoxhunt what to look for - both in my professional and personal spheres.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I"m struggling to think of things I really dislike. Frankly, little is coming to mind.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is educating me on phishing simulations in an active way. It is not just trainings to learn once. They are putting you in the hot seat with these emails coming to your inbox directly. It forces you to engage and see what these look like when they are coming straight to you.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin K.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that the training emails in Hoxhunt are so convincing. They train employees to truly notice the differences between general emails, phishing, and spear phishing. It shows how targeted the emails can be, using names of their supervisors or upper-level management. It teaches employees to deep dive into emails before opening. So far, it's a very solid program, the best that I have seen.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

There are no disliked features I have noticed about Hoxhunt

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt ensures effective cybersecurity training by showing how tricky malicious emails can be. Its convincing training emails teach employees to distinguish between types of emails, promoting deeper scrutiny before opening them.

  ### 20. Effortless Security Awareness, Highly Recommended

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like Hoxhunt because it is designed to be simple and easy to use. I use it for reporting fake emails, and it helps in knowing which mails are genuine before sharing any information. I also appreciate how it trains me through simulation emails on fake emails. It's easy to set up, and everything looks good from my perspective.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Everything looks good to me, I do not have dislikes regarding that

  ### 21. Gamified Email Reporting Improves Alertness While Dashboard Access & Holiday Timing Need Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piotr D. | Senior Technical Support Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

It makes recognizing spam/phishing threats and learning about the many ways criminals try to trick people feel like a game. Users have a real incentive, which gives them dopamine, which makes them look out for such threats more actively, and aids in recognizing them more effectively. Customer service is wonderful as well!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Accessing the dashboard is not clear and as far as I'm aware can be done when reporting an email. If I don't have an email to report, I'm not sure how to access the dashboard. Also, it doesn't take public holidays into account which means that if you go for holiday for a few days and don't manually put it on pause, it will send you an email during holiday and then mark it as missed if you don't report it by the time you come back. This affects the stats negatively.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me make training users in email security training and it's making it fun and easy.

  ### 22. Engaging Cybersecurity Training That Motivates and Builds a Security-First Culture

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zaqwan S. | Investor Services Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt makes cybersecurity awareness training actually engaging. The simulated phishing emails feel realistic and are delivered at random times so it trains you to stay alert in a real work environment. The gamified scoring system and progress levels help motivate continuous learning, rather than one-off annual training. It also fosters a stronger security-first culture across the organization.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Sometimes the difficulty level increases a bit too quickly especially for newer users who may not be familiar with phishing patterns. In addition, the learning pacing could be more customizable based on user experience level. It would also be helpful if there were more short video explainers to reinforce key lessons after each simulation.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps strengthen overall cybersecurity awareness across the organization by training employees to identify and report phishing attempts in real time. Instead of relying solely on annual mandatory cybersecurity modules, Hoxhunt provides ongoing, scenario-based simulations that improve alertness and response habits. This has significantly reduced click-through rates on suspicious emails and encouraged a culture of proactive reporting.

  ### 23. Engaging Cybersecurity Training, But Simulations Can Be Repetitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muskan J. | OPERATIONS ANALYST, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

What I appreciate most about Hoxhunt is how it transforms cybersecurity from a tedious task into an engaging challenge that I genuinely want to overcome. The phishing simulations are convincing without being overwhelming, and the immediate feedback provided is both helpful and informative.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

At times, the simulated phishing emails seem a little too frequent or repetitive, particularly when work is especially busy. I recognize that the intention is to help us develop good habits, but the frequency can sometimes be disruptive. Additionally, I would value having a bit more context or explanation after each simulation, such as information on how it relates to actual threats or current phishing trends.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt addresses the challenge of phishing awareness and reduces the risk of human error in cybersecurity. It keeps me vigilant against potential threats, offers realistic simulations for learning, and helps me develop strong security habits that safeguard both myself and the organization.

  ### 24. Engaging, Realistic Phishing Training That Boosts Awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bijay S. | AI Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt stands out for its realistic phishing simulations, which closely resemble actual threats and effectively help users develop real-world awareness. The platform also offers a gamified learning experience, making security training more engaging and motivating users to participate regularly. Additionally, the instant feedback and reinforcement provided allow users to quickly learn from their mistakes and continuously improve their skills.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Dislikes:

The customization options are somewhat limited, as the simulations do not always cater to particular roles or industries. There are also occasional false positives, where legitimate emails are flagged, which can lead to confusion. Additionally, the reporting tools are quite basic; the admin dashboards could benefit from offering more detailed insights and greater flexibility.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Here's how it has been benefiting us: Our security culture has improved, as regular simulations help employees become more alert and proactive when dealing with email threats. We've also noticed a positive behavioral change—gamified training motivates consistent participation and helps establish lasting habits. Additionally, early detection and prompt reporting of phishing attempts have greatly reduced our risk and lowered our exposure to potential breaches.

  ### 25. Gamified Learning for Cybersecurity Awareness

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suvansh C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I think the gamified features are quite nice, and they make learning about security more interesting and interactive. This approach, rather than just theoretical walls of text, helps me become more conscious of the different spams or phishing attacks I might encounter. It's helpful in keeping my system secure and in understanding the various kinds of cybersecurity threats.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Sometimes the phishing attacks are quite obvious, so if they could be a little more sneaky, that could be helpful. They need to up their game in that way.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoxhunt to become more cybersecurity aware through different simulations. It helps me understand various attack types, keeps my system secure, and makes me more conscious of phishing attacks. The gamified features make learning about security more interactive and interesting.

  ### 26. Mastered Email Threat Detection with Hoxhunt

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iida P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that Hoxhunt sends me more difficult problems to solve, which helps me better recognize threats coming via emails. The way the difficulty level of the training increases the more I use it is really beneficial. I also find it easier now to recognize well-created phishing emails or other suspicious content from emails. Additionally, I think it's a high-quality product, and the initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

A lot of the learnings are quite useful in their explanation in terms of breaking things down and using interactive colors and pictures.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

It sends some of the modules at very odd times that don’t always coincide with work hours. Also the micro learnings are sometimes not applicable to our business organization which causes a disconnect in losing stars.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s really just informing us in the different tactics scammers and schemers use to steal company data.

  ### 32. Engaging, Easy-to-Understand Security Training with Hoxhunt

What I like most is that it doesn't feel like traditional "mandatory training." The simulations are highly realistic and perfectly integrated into my daily workflow. I appreciate that when I report a suspicious email, I get immediate feedback, which reinforces learning in a positive way.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

At times, the frequency of simulations can coincide with very busy workdays, but I understand that’s exactly how phishing works in the real world.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us stay alert to real-world threats. As a professional, it gives me peace of mind knowing I can quickly identify malicious emails, protecting both company data and my own information.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the badges and rewards system in Hoxhunt, as it makes the training engaging and sets goals for employees. The realistic, tricky email simulations are great because they train employees effectively not to click on suspicious links or emails. These simulations are more frequent and realistic than what we used to receive, like clickbait LinkedIn messages or unpaid invoice scams, which helps keep everyone on their toes. The setup is easy with a simple button in the Outlook toolbar, which I find really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

that I'm not sure if this is a scam for the gift card review!

The integration with tools like Microsoft 365 is also well documented and guided, making the main steps quite straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Perhaps greater personalization of content, depth of advanced reports, variety of content in the long term, involvement of more experienced profiles, and initial management and onboarding would be needed.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps me reduce the risk of phishing, overcome the ineffectiveness of traditional training, improve incident reporting capability, and reduce the operational burden for the IT team.

  ### 37. Engaging Cybersecurity Training with Real-Life Practice

I like the gamified user experience in Hoxhunt because it makes learning more engaging and helps me grasp the principles better. I also love that it sends real-life examples directly to my inbox, allowing me to practice the theory effectively.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Not much, but if I had to pluck something out of the air, it does sometimes feel repetitive; as if the same content is being recycled. In these cases, I tend to just click through and take in as much content as possible. The content feels repetitive, like I've already read it in another module or lesson.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt keeps me up to date on cyber security best practices, trends, and risks. I appreciate its gamified experience and real-life examples, which make learning engaging and practical.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing I can think of at the moment to be honest.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me further identify phishing emails especially when I work with sensitive client information. I look harder at emails that I may find suspicious or don't recognise now.

  ### 39. Authentic Training, Fun Learning Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siiri L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I really like how the emails from Hoxhunt are crafted to look genuine. They sometimes appear very personal, as if I've got a package notification or even use a colleague's name. This makes it a real challenge to distinguish the Hoxhunt emails, which I find really interesting and nice. After every email, there’s a small exercise or test, and I can see how I compare with colleagues. It’s also so fun and nice that I gave it a definite 10 for recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Everything is perfect

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really like the simulation that Hoxhunt offers, which gives users the ability to see how the exercise is working in their email. It’s great how, when I click on Hoxhunt, I can identify if something is spam and learn from the embedded simulations within Outlook. Everything being embedded within Outlook is particularly convenient, as it feels like using Outlook itself rather than a separate app.

Nothing

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps me identify spam emails effectively through exercises that simulate real spam scenarios, improving my ability to recognize and handle potential email threats.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yan W. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Real-world simulation, testing actual readiness of employees from phishing

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The gaming and competition system. A bit distraction and waste of time.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very real phishing tests makes sure whether or not you are actually prepared. Just those learning materials and training videos prove nothing. You have no confidence whether the employees will click the phishing link when it really happens.

  ### 42. Love it: Playful, Engaging Online Safety Training That Keeps You Alert for Email Scams

Finally a playful and engaging way to educate people about online safety. So refreshing to actually pay attention for scams in your emails rather than just watching a boring online lecture.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paying attention to scam emails are often underrated. Hoxhunt is solving this and making me actually cautious.

We’ve had some issues getting it set up correctly after being involved in a merger. As a result, some people managers are still receiving emails about users who no longer work for the company.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phishing emails remain one of the most common attack vectors used by adversaries, which is why it’s crucial to train users to recognize them. Regular awareness training helps people spot suspicious messages and encourages open conversations about cybersecurity.

It makes it fun to use and helps gauge the level of responsiveness of my colleagues to the phishing simulation. The initial setup was easy, as it just appeared on my Outlook ribbon.
