## Hoxhunt Reviews
  ### 1. Highly Effective Email Protection with User-Friendly Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brendan C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the relative ease of use of Hoxhunt's training modules, and the style of the service is appealing too.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Times might take a little longer than I would like for an inquiry to be returned, but I understand the complexities of the system.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt prevents me from clicking hazardous links and makes me think twice about them.

  ### 2. A more engaging way to be safe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan D. | Customer Support Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Learning how to identify phishing scams in the workplace can be a rather tedious exercise, but Hoxhunt allows an individual to do so with the bonus of collecting points, badges, etc - while also competing with colleagues and Customer Support team members. Quite simply, Hoxhunt makes it a far more engaging activity than it ever has been previously. When it was first implemented at my place of work, it was highly praised for how seamlessly the option to report via Hoxhunt was integrated into our email accounts. My team now uses Hoxhunt regularly and we're all on the hunt for our next badge!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

A very cliche answer, but there aren't any downsides. It's pretty entertaining and it's easy to use.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt is solving a security awareness issue that I've experienced at every workplace. People tend to believe that security awareness training is boring and/or tedious and it definitely can be, thus meaning that phishing emails were often missed or ignored but Hoxhunt has made it a fun activity and now the whole team looks forward to having an opportunity to use it. This benefits me because I don't have to nag people to use the Hoxhunt feature, they're already enthusiastically waiting for the opportunity.

  ### 3. Best Cyber Security Awareness Training so far...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Örsan . | Global Head of Logistics Planning, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I have been working since 25 years in corporate companies and during this period had tens of training about cyber security and awareness programs.
All of those trainings were very classical, over powerpoint presentations and maximum with some interactive questions. Lots of pages to read without practicising non of them.

Good parts (actually excellent) of Hoxhunt are ;
- it is not a classical training, it is a completely interactive program and plan.
- you are not in a typical training with a limited time. Instead, you have to be always aware and in case of any incident you receive only a specific brief information about the case and thats all. Repetitive and continuous incidents increase the awareness.
- very easy to understand and use.
- Gamified mechanism of the program increases the engagement a lot.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Actually nothing. Maybe the frequency of the incidents can be increased.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are very open to the cyber attacks in any form and vulnerable to some extent as well. Especially the people who are working with lots of e-mails everyday are more vulnerable to phishing attacks. Hoxhunt is solving the problem of standard, classical, boring training approach for this very important topic and replaces with a completely different approach by increasing the engagement of the employee. It increases my engagement and awareness as well. I feel that I am far better so called "alerted" for any of the cyber incidents now.

  ### 4. Effective and Engagind phishing awarness training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul K. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt makes learning to spot phishing mails practical fun and also competitive. I enjoyed the gamified approach, each drill fell like small task, and leaderboard add a fun. It makes whole thing exciting. I love to answer the the mcq we got after reporting phising mail.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The simulated phishing email can feel a bit easy or kind of repetitive. It would be nice to see more variety and increasing diffcutly level, to keep the challenge.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It train me get whole idea about how to detect the phishing emails. One time i have clicked the phishing mail, which was from hoxhunt. And this make me more aware whenever i see mail with something weird. So this makes more aware towards identifying phishing mails.

  ### 5. Unique and Fun. Breaking away from conventional training methods

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Its fun and highly engaging unlike the usual trainings which are boring and involve too many documents to go through. Hoxhunt's game like approach with short but informative content make it interesting to learn. It has a very good dashboard with leaderboard and badges. Overall, it is fun!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

some things are very easy. Quiz questions should be a little more challenging.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cybersecurity awareness and phishing threats. Now I am more attentive and cautious about the emails I get and the links that I click

  ### 6. Gamified Approach to Phishing Detection Makes Security Training Less Intimidating

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the gamified approach to phishing tests deployed to employees to measure their ability to detect and avoid.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

No downside other than some may think having a gamified approach will make employees take it less seriously. I don't think that way however.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's raising awareness to phishing attempts in our organization which can be costly. A data breach can cost our company millions and ruin trust between us and our client base.

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

I love the training modules offered that identify why the email was spam or a phishing attempt, the trainings are short and super easy to understand. I also love the dashboard that keeps track of how well you do!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I really do not have any complaints or anything that has jumped out at me. So far in my personal training, I missed one email "test/training" and it was because I was rushing and instead of reporting the email I simply deleted it as normal trash.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Hoxhunt helps people be more aware of what a phishing attempt can actually look like, these emails are getting SO good these days that it is great to have a tool that stays on top of it and offers easy to understand training modules.

Ease of use, easily integrable, ability to collate all past activities, and a secure tool.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I do not work directly with the vendor; rather, my company uses it to train employees on spam and phishing email identification by simulation.

This tool is integarted with email clients and helping users identify and differentiate between spams, phising emails, cyber threat detection etc.

Hoxhunt give very helpful tips and examples of what a malicious email looks like. The emails that appeal to my sense of urgency are the most compelling. Getting an email every couple of days with no real rhythm keeps me on my feet!

I dislike that I was tricked once into clicking a bait email but since, I have learned a lot and keep a streak for reporting malicious emails.

Mostly, the phishing emails that I receive are helpful. I am a relatively new employee and when I receive emails that look like they are from someone in my company, I have to look carefully and verify they are not a security issue.

  ### 20. Hoxhunt's interactive approach makes cybersecurity awareness fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

The best part about Hoxhunt is how it makes cybersecurity awareness fun, by first making you question all suspicious mails that it sends as a part of the drill and then rewarding you with badges every time you report a suspicious email.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing to dislike honestly, I have found its features and functionality on point.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt randomly sends fake suspicious emails to test and prepare its users for actual spam/suspicious emails. Each time a user reports a suspicious email, Hoxhunt provides more information and learning about cybersecurity.

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

* Hyperrealism - the simulation you get with Hoxhunt feels very real. On numerous occasions, I was nearly fooled by the simulation emails when not paying close attention. This is a great way to train and prepare your users for the real world of cyber attacks.

* Gamification - Hoxhunt gamifies the whole experience, making it a lot more enjoyable as a user.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

This helps keeping users on their toes and keeping up to date with the latest techniques attachers may employ when phishing for information. This helps keeping everyone alert and on the lookout for suspicious emails.

  ### 22. Enjoying learning moer about how to better protect my PC

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I really appreciate that the program is designed to teach users how to recognize phishing emails. It's an important skill, especially with how common online scams have become. By learning to spot suspicious messages, people can avoid clicking on harmful links or downloading dangerous attachments, which helps protect their computers from malware. The program makes this process easier to understand and gives practical tips that can be used in real-life situations. It's a valuable tool for improving cybersecurity awareness and helping users stay safe online.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I’ve found it difficult to access the dashboard from Outlook. It's not very clear how to open it, and some clearer instructions or guidance would be helpful. Improving the usability and accessibility of the dashboard would make the overall experience much smoother and more effective for users.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us gain a better understanding of key cybersecurity topics, including data breaches, phishing emails, and overall security training. This knowledge is essential for staying safe online and protecting sensitive information. The training has been informative and practical, making it easier to apply these lessons in real-world situations.

  ### 23. Clever Way of Teaching IT Security that's Effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like that the IT security courses were not in lecture format, rather they were random simulations that tested us across a few months. Each simulation felt so life-like and random, that it evoked a genuine reaction from the user. After each mini test there would be short further context explaining the simulation.

I also like the gamification aspect, where the user received points for each simulation that was a scam. You could see a leaderboard at the end to see how you ranked amongst your peers or department.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

None, I thought it was the best IT security training course I've ever taken

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT security - learning how to identify scam & phishing emails

  ### 24. Cybersecurity through engaging simulations & an interactive learning tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

One of the best things about Hoxhunt is that it turns cybersecurity into a game-like experience to help protect against cyber risks. The points and rewards system lets users collect points when they spot fake scam emails, earn badges, move up to higher levels, and see how they compare to coworkers on scoreboards.

Hoxhunt does this by creating fake scam emails in a safe way for you to take action on and gives you quick feedback on your choices; this allows users to learn useful skills by doing rather than just reading.

Their learning material is well packaged in short, clear lessons, simple explanations about online threats and safety tips.

The system turns boring security training into an interesting activity that encourages people to keep getting better through gamification.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

The platform's content scope is somewhat restricted. While it provides solid email phishing detection training, it lacks broader cybersecurity educational content. Would be nice to have additional modules covering social engineering techniques and the psychological aspects behind phishing attacks.

Some of the simulated attempts are relatively easy to identify as fraudulent. Ideally, Hoxhunt would benefit from implementing a more refined difficulty adjustment system.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt tackles the tough challenge of cybersecurity training by making it engaging and effective instead of boring. The platform turns traditional security awareness into an interactive game where you learn by doing.

Through realistic phishing simulations, you get hands-on practice spotting cyber threats in a safe environment. What makes it especially valuable is how it adapts to your skill level - as you improve, the challenges get more sophisticated to keep you learning. You earn points, unlock achievements, and can even compare your progress with colleagues on leaderboards.

The way Hoxhunt helps is pretty straightforward - it makes security training something you actually want to do. Instead of long, dry lectures, you get quick, focused lessons with clear explanations about real threats. The immediate feedback helps you learn from both successes and mistakes.

The platform's personalized approach means you're always working on skills you need most. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience, the training adjusts to keep you engaged and improving. Plus, the competitive elements and rewards make it feel more like playing a game than sitting through required training.

Most importantly, you develop practical cybersecurity skills that help protect both you and your organization from real-world threats. The training sticks because you're actively practicing rather than just passively learning about security concepts.

  ### 25. Risk management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lerroy D. | Experto en seguridad home y business, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

The management of human risks. Evaluate employee behaviors to raise awareness about risks. Like phishing simulators.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

It is really engaging and productive at the same time. There are a lot of opportunities to learn something new and it's always something different. I feel like a lot of us know basic things to look out for but Hoxhunt brings attention to a lot of other small things that aren't always obvious, even for me growing up with technology. It is so fun and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Not really anything. It's a great program!

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly covering lesser-known ways that scammers can get access to your information! I feel like this is SO important, because something may look legitimate if you don't notice one tiny thing that tells you it isn't.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

the absolute best is that the training does not end after a couple of boring slides that always show the same case studies, surely, you'll have mastered these case studies by then, also, it is time for your official training so you bring in extra awareness.

Hoxhunt constantly tries to trick you into believe one of their spam and / or phishing mails, regardless of the day or hour, it will try and catch you off-guard with various and honestly quite good constructed emails, always varying in sender, content and difficulty level.

from my point of view, I would recommend Hoxhunt to any company to implement

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I did not run into any problems while using this software, also, I never had to contact customer support or encountered a bug

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it solves the problem of having a full system outage because a colleague clicked a spam link and infected the network

  ### 30. Fun way to train yourself against real-like security threats

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sailesh C. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt is an incredibly effective security awareness training tool. Its strength lies in its remarkably realistic phishing and threat simulations – they're so well-crafted, I've genuinely almost fallen for them multiple times! This realism is exactly what makes it such a powerful way to train yourself to spot genuine threats. The platform also cleverly incorporates a points system, which gamifies the learning process and keeps you engaged and motivated to improve. It's a great way to stay sharp and continuously learn about evolving security threats.

It's very easy to use or to report any suspicious email with the Gmail integration.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Nothing in particular, but I don't like the fact that I get less points/stars if I report the email later.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt makes security awareness training really easy, especially with its phishing and other attack simulation over email. The emails seem genuine and are difficult to dismiss unless one observes multiple things carefully.

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Easy integration in Outlook, nice dashboard

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Simulation are too simple, easy to spot. Report email for simulation shall really ask to report not giving up ad admit it is a simulation

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security

  ### 32. "Interactive and Engaging Cybersecurity Training"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

The best thing about Hoxhunt is that it makes cybersecurity awareness engaging and interactive.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

One downside of Hoxhunt could be that some simulated phishing emails feel repetitive over time.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps reduce the risk of phishing attacks by training users to recognize and respond to suspicious emails. This benefits me by increasing my cybersecurity awareness and helping me protect sensitive information more effectively.

  ### 33. Essential for Spam and Phishing Defense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alissa K.

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the leadership board and the simulations in Hoxhunt. They are educational but fun and make me more knowledgeable about phishing, scams, and spam.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

N/A.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt helps my company by filtering and reporting spam and phishing, reducing the chances of us clicking on these threats.

  ### 34. It is an easy and intuitive way to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glauco V. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

What I enjoy the most is the competition—checking the scoreboards, rankings, winning prizes, and so on. This keeps people motivated and constantly aware of whether something is spam or not.

It feels like playing a game, which is really fun!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

There should be other ways to recover lost progress. For example, if someone is on vacation and misses an email, they drop in the ranking. It would be great to have options to regain points and climb back up the leaderboard.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps prevent us from falling for phishing attempts that could harm the company and our work. With Hoxhunt, we stay more alert and actively try to identify any potential threats.

  ### 35. Enjoyable!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jānis S. | Senior Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I was skeptical about the app. Had a feeling it would a corporate waste of time, but once I used it I found it fun. Reporting funny looking emails and competing against my colleagues. And you can even learn something along the way!

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I'd like more, harder challenges. Also, my score dropped while I was away for 2 weeks?

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is educating the people at my company about security. That benefits everyone.

  ### 36. Effective Cybersecurity Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I think Hoxhunt is a great tool to educate people on Cyber Security basic practices. It helps employees from no matter what role to be aware of the most common Spam and Phishing techniques, therefore reinforcing the company's shields against these threats.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I don't like some email simulations to expire since some users don't check their emails so often.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to increase the Cyber Security threat awareness among all company employees.

  ### 37. Rewarding Shields Make Progress Feel Tangible

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I like the part with rewarding shields to show progress.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Feels like even with training on, some people get more test emails than others.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of mimicking phishing to help spread awareness to less technical employees.

  ### 38. Engaging platform for security awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Based on our experience, we have not found anything about the system that we dislike.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt has played a crucial role in raising our staff's awareness of phishing and malware threats. Since implementing Hoxhunt, we have noticed a significant increase in the number of phishing emails reported by our staff.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

It is a fun method for teaching cyber security. Most people like games.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

As a shift worker I sometimes report too late since I am not working 9-5 and thus get points (unfairly) deducted

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything that helps our organization against cyber threats are welcome.

  ### 41. Engaging and efficient!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raquel T. | Premium Support Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

The extension on gmail is very useful to quickly scan emails and fraud check them, but the dashboard is my favorite feature. It's very engaging and user-friendly, there are a lot of resources and the badge system incentivizes users to review more resources on safety.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

No major dislikes, overall really happy with the service and it's features. Personally, I would just like a light layout mode, since I don't really enjoy dark screens, but that's a minor detail.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes detecting phishing emails really easy and it provides really good resources on security. I only have Hoxhunt on my work email, but the resources provide me with knowledge that I can use when it comes to my personal email, which is very important for me.

  ### 42. Very useful training courses to me, easy to report phishing email through Hoxhunt button.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt training was a completely different experience compared with other cybersecurity training. Previously everyone received the same simulations at once, but this one sends them randomly, making it feel more realistic and challenging for me.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

It would be the first time onboard process. I couldn’t find the new hoxhunt report button on Outlook. I tried many times, luckily, the button showed up finally.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt replaced original phishing report button in my Outlook. When I found some suspicious emails, I just click the button to report to Hoxhunt, it's very reliable to protect my data. The benefit from Hoxhunt for me is those several cybersecurity trainings formed me a habit on the Stop, Think, Ask and React on intranet.

  ### 43. My honest HoxHunt review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krzysztof D. | Software Development Engineer in Test, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

I’ve been using HoxHunt for over a year now, and overall, I’m really pleased with how it’s helped me become more aware of phishing tactics. The interface is straightforward and easy to navigate, which makes reporting suspicious emails feel like second nature rather than a chore. The quick feedback you get after flagging a potential threat has also been really motivating—it’s nice to see whether you’ve caught something right away.

Another aspect I enjoy is how HoxHunt turns training into a sort of game. There’s a bit of friendly competition in my office to see who can identify and report phishing attempts the fastest. This gamified approach keeps things engaging and encourages us to stay vigilant, so I definitely give HoxHunt a thumbs up for making cybersecurity training both fun and informative.

I use HoxHunt practically a few times a month. It simulates training with regular, but unpredictable intervals of simulated phishing attempts. The fact that the training emails come to my inbox as any other email would integrate really nicely! I don't need to log into some other platform, it's all there inside of my email app.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I do think there’s room for growth. The phishing simulations, while helpful, could use a bit more variety. After a while, they start to feel predictable, which makes them less effective at testing real-life awareness. Adding new, more creative or more advanced phishing scenarios would keep the training fresh and challenge users at different skill levels.

I’d also love to see additional features or content beyond just spotting emails—maybe some interactive modules on social engineering techniques or deeper dives into the psychology of phishing scams. With a little more variety and advanced material, HoxHunt could be the go-to cybersecurity training platform for teams of any size.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides phishing awareness training while being fully integrated into my email account and day-to day work. There is no need to complete any special trainings on some web platform, watch long cybersec videos etc. There are simulated, real world phishing scenarios to train my awareness on, without any extra hassle.

  ### 44. Hox Hunt efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sami b. | ABM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt helps minimize risk by putting training in a more receivable way.
Its easier to learn ways to avoid risk and use it in everyday tasks when the training reflects everyday tasks.
Typically training will feel very, "book based" and it really doesn't play into everyday work life because fraudsters arent emailing our work emails as a prince trying to get money or a "customer". Hoxhunt shows you what a real email could be.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

I don't have any issues or dislikes to list.

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helping I mitigate risk in my company by being prepared.

  ### 45. HoxHunt Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prakash S. | Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

The phising email generated are very real and almost of a professional hacker level. It's very fun as well once you find out and report the same. It gives us visibility into ongoing real phishing campaigns so we can react with activities like URL blocking and IP address blacklisting. The switch to gamification and a carrot approach was really well embraced. It makes security training feel less like a chore and more like a game with real-world benefits.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

limited customization options for training content, a less intuitive admin dashboard, potential for overwhelming simulation frequency, lack of in-depth reporting and analytics, and concerns about the cost relative to other platforms

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoxhunt primarily solves the problem of human error in cybersecurity by providing a gamified training platform that teaches employees how to identify and report phishing emails, effectively turning them into a "human firewall" to protect their organization from cyber threats, thus benefiting users by significantly increasing their awareness of phishing attempts and ability to mitigate potential security breaches through proactive reporting of suspicious emails.

  ### 46. Best Gamified Phishing Reporter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prajwal M. | Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hoxhunt?**

Hoxhunt is hands down one of the best platforms for cybersecurity awareness, especially when it comes to phishing detection. What sets it apart is its gamified approach, which makes learning engaging rather than just another mandatory security training.

The platform integrates seamlessly with email clients, allowing users to report phishing attempts with a single click. But the real magic happens in how it personalizes simulations—instead of generic training emails, Hoxhunt adapts to each user’s skill level, sending realistic phishing attempts that keep you on your toes. Every reported attack earns points and rewards, turning what is often seen as a boring security task into a fun, competitive experience.

Another standout feature is its detailed feedback system. Whenever you report an email—whether real or simulated—you get immediate insights into why it was (or wasn’t) a phishing attempt. This helps reinforce learning in a way that sticks. Plus, the analytics and reporting tools provide security teams with valuable insights into organizational risk levels and user performance.

In a world where cyber threats are evolving rapidly, Hoxhunt helps build a proactive security culture rather than just enforcing compliance. It’s engaging, effective, and genuinely makes phishing awareness second nature.

**What do you dislike about Hoxhunt?**

Can't convert points to rewards or something like that

**What problems is Hoxhunt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phishing awareness is saving from cyber attack
