Not much about the like anymore about this software. No contract. That's it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pretty much everything. I feel this company is in a race to offer quantity over quality. The software can be difficult to find a good ground of workflow. The way function is setup can become easily confusing to both office and field staff. Many functions that should have been built out in the beginning are missing but told its In the road map as everything in. Features a re limited in function. Payfor basic functions + add-ons. Is beginning to get a heavy feeling g of its competitor, which isn't a good thing. This is the 2nd time I used this software being told things were much better and getting better was not a true statement. The good thing is their is no contracts so you can leave anytime with the daunting task of setting up and migrating to a new software. Overall for a company who is serious about their business and a smooth operation, maybe a company with stellar support (signed up for new product with hcp and it hasn't worked since ce it was turned on but hcp is "working" on it) your never going to find it from my experience. This program works great for a new business and meets most of my needs. There are things I would change for commercial hvac applications but I don't regret my decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to be able to modify the list for property profiles for customers. I would like to be able to toggle viewing of invoices when your in front of the customer getting a signature. I would also like to be able to have checklists per system to record what is found per unit. I would like to also see a spot to save company documents like llc and w9 paperwork that can be accessed and emailed from the app directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software has made it so easy to schedule and track work and money. No more lost service tickets and forgotten billing. I can't say enough about how much easier this has made my life. We are a small company and I run the office on my own. This allows me to do things on the fly. Very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that each platform from scheduling to dispatching, inbound/outbound calls, reporting, Pipeline, customer base, Price book, and down to a Dash Board, is laid out for everyone to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The sudden visual changes in the program, so of us have low vision disabilities and this can affect are eyesight. I understand wanting to make changes to be more efficient, but one slight change in the field or in the office can truly cause Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of asking for reviews, receiving reviews; communication and training from HouseCall Pro and they ask for Customer feedback; ease of dispatching; financing options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like it easier to look at the day or week of jobs and know who was on it once completed. If the job is a bill out, and no amount is entered to start, once it is finished there is no way to track that it was actually billed out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most useful things about Housecall Pro are definitely the scheduling feature, the messaging feature to customers and the expense cards. The messaging feature, I would have to say, is #1. Customers love getting text messages saying we are on our way and finished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say there are downsides, just features I wish they had. I wish there were multi-day job scheduling because that would be a great help. I love that you can text/email the invoice to your customers. This has helped us get paid faster and also allows the customer to pay from the comfort of their home! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I don't like about HCP, is that there are some features that are not customizable. We work in a very specialized field and being able to customize more aspects of the system would be great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I left Jobber because of HCP's sales pipeline. It's a great feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was misled during signup, then when I found out, they strung me along for weeks saying they had a solution to my problem, till finally I found out there was no solution. Left my previous software and migrated all my data here for nothing. Learned a whole new software for nothing. Be careful when considering HCP. I like the weekly calendar view, where I can see ALL the jobs for the week. I can see their status and who was dispatched to the job. I can also go back to prior weeks, and see what we did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
