What do you like best about Hotjar by Contentsquare?

- Good service to record videos of how clients interact with your website

- Easy to deploy using Google Tag Manager

- Script very lightweight, we haven't noticed negative impact on website speed

- Heatmaps can be very interesting for e-commerce projects, we use this a lot

- You can filter using UTM tags what visits will be recorded, also you can trigger recording for custom events

- You can filter visits to watch via Devices, Sources, Audience characteristics, etc. This can help if you need to monitor one traffic channel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hotjar by Contentsquare?

- Limitations even on paid plans are very severe. You have very limited visits to record even on paid plans

- No mobile app to monitor on the go

- No A/B testing tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hotjar by Contentsquare solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use this service to track how users from different traffic channels interact with our website, also it's a good tool to check up different tech mistakes and bugs on a website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
