HotelFriend is a hotel management system that covers reservations, invoicing and direct bookings in one platform. The system is easy to use and invoices are created automatically. The booking engine works well and supports upselling. It also offers integrations like DATEV, which is useful for accounting. Overall, it helps in managing daily hotel operations in a structured way.

**What do you dislike about HotelFriend?**

I used to have a long list of improvements for PMS systems, but HotelFriend has been addressing them at an impressive pace.

**What problems is HotelFriend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HotelFriend solves the problems of using multiple systems for reservations, invoicing and direct bookings by bringing everything into one platform. Automated invoicing and integrated accounting tools like DATEV save time for our team and simplify financial processes. As a result, daily operations run more smoothly and efficiently.

**What do you like best about HotelFriend?**

I love using HotelFriend to centralize and automate our daily hotel operations, as it encompasses a wide array of functions such as reservations, room assignments, housekeeping schedules, guest communication, and payments all from a singular dashboard. This streamlines our processes, significantly reducing manual labor, speeding up check-ins, and enabling us to respond more swiftly to guests. The platform ensures that our team remains aligned, especially during busy periods, and that nothing falls through the cracks. I find that it eliminates many of the manual and time-consuming tasks that used to bog us down. By integrating reservations, housekeeping, front desk tasks, and guest communication into one cohesive system, we avoid juggling multiple tools or relying on handwritten notes. I appreciate how the automation reduces errors during busy check-ins, and the real-time room status updates facilitate smoother departmental coordination. I particularly like how easy it is to manage all operations within a comprehensive dashboard that updates tasks instantly. This improves our team’s organization and enhances guest services. Sometimes the system feels a bit slow during peak hours, and a few settings could be more customizable. Adding flexibility in reports and giving the mobile app a smoother workflow would make it even better. It would be helpful to have more personalized notification control and a quicker way to adjust rates on the go. A more polished user experience would also make daily tasks even smoother.

**What do you like best about HotelFriend?**

It gives us the most for our money with all the features and how easy it is to use. We can add new rooms, set up room descriptions, create special offers for different types of rooms, and put them on the booking engine, and it only takes about 20 minutes to do it all. It's also easy to change the prices and offers. Invoice creation and payment processing have never been better as well.

**What do you dislike about HotelFriend?**

The system has a lot of functions and sometimes it’s a bit confusing. But when that happens, I just write to support.

**What problems is HotelFriend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a fast and efficient system that offers excellent value for the money. The best part about it is the ease with which we can manage our rooms and handle bookings.

**What do you like best about HotelFriend?**

I really liked HotelFriend when I worked as a GM. It's cloud-based, so I could log in from anywhere. Easy to learn, and the support team is great. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about HotelFriend?**

The only thing I had issues with was displaying vouchers on the Booking Engine without picking a date. But that was a while ago, so it might have been fixed by now.

**What problems is HotelFriend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic functions are straightforward, and there are plenty of online resources to learn how to perform more complex tasks.

**What do you like best about HotelFriend?**

I manage a hotel with 30 rooms and I took over a booking system that was based on spreadsheets from the previous owner. It was a real headache. I've been searching for a better system and decided to go with HotelFriend. It’s flexible and lets me set up advanced solutions for managing inventory and bookings.

**What do you dislike about HotelFriend?**

Whenever I have requests or want changes to certain features, their team is very open to feedback. I don't see any downsides.

**What problems is HotelFriend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Switching from spreadsheets to a proper PMS has definitely made my life easier. I also use Vectron for restaurant POS, and it integrates just fine.

**What do you like best about HotelFriend?**

I had to find new software for a guesthouse with 83 rooms and 2 properties in Germany. The main criteria included German-speaking support, meeting local tax laws, and handling both properties in one place. HotelFriend checked all the boxes. Now it helps us manage bookings and check-ins for both properties.

**What do you dislike about HotelFriend?**

The multi-front desk feature is good, but it could be better. It would be great if we could move bookings and guests between properties more easily with a drag-and-drop.

HotelFriend makes it simple to handle both properties in one interface.

**What do you like best about HotelFriend?**

Our Client run a group of apart hotels in Austria and needed a software to handle them all. HotelFriend fits nicely, as the system could be customized to our needs. Since they mostly work with corporate clients that book apartments for long time stays, we needed some extra features like company billing and more cancellation options. They provided us with all of that.

**What do you dislike about HotelFriend?**

We’ve been using the system for 2 years and everything is ok. So far so good.

**What problems is HotelFriend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're excited to keep using HotelFriend Software as we are planning to grow the chain.
They have FiscalTrust (TSE) for Austria. It makes work for our accounting department much easier.

The customer service is best. They're super quick to help, no matter the time. Easy to reach during the day and emails get a fast response after hours.

It’s not without its faults but it’s a good all in one hotel management system.

It's all in one with a channel manager and human support is always available, which is a huge help esp when you're starting out.

We were super happy with onboarding. They guided us through system setup step by step making sure all the connections on channel managers were working properly.

**What do you dislike about HotelFriend?**

We would appreciate it if they could improve the group booking process as now their search shows only accommodations for adults, children are ignored.

Accepting bookings, connecting to Booking.com, setting seasonal prices and restrictions.

We were waiting for 1 month for updates, that offer 1 extra necessary feature. But it worth it.

I did not like Mobile POS system as it is not that much of User friendly.
