I contacted their customer service team and asked if they had an option that would meet our needs. They understood our requirements and provided a solution that was an excellent fit. They have a fantastic product, but what makes them stand head and shoulders above the rest is their customer service. **What do you dislike about HostedScan.com?** Normally I can find something I dislike about most organisations. Unfortunately, I don't have any negative to say about HostedScan. They more than meet our charity's scanning needs. **What problems is HostedScan.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** As we provide more features for our users HostedScan gives us the confidence that our website is secure and we have successfully protected our users' information. ### 2. With the possibility of becoming complacent and take my mind off of security, Hosted Scan notifies me every 30 days about what needs to be addressed on my network to keep my company safe. **What do you dislike about HostedScan.com?** The free tier only allows notifications to be sent every 30 days, which I wish could be more frequent. But otherwise it is a solid product that I would recommend to others. **What problems is HostedScan.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Evaluating my network to ensure that there are no vulnerabilities which would present a foreign actor an opportunity to access our secure data. HostedScan send me periodic scans to not me of what the current attack surface looks like. ### 4. Also I would pay for that great service. I like being descriptive in showing me the security vulnerabilities and also showing me the solution to the problem! **What do you dislike about HostedScan.com?** The free plan is great thing, but not so much useful if you are not able to pay for more. Being limited to 10 scans per month could be bad for small scale users, you could increase it to at least 20. **What problems is HostedScan.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving the problem of searching for a website security checker solution and in the same time being affordable. Not just for the free plan but for the paid plan it's so powerful and affordable. ### 5. It combines multiple scan types into a single tool, with options to schedule scans and dashboards for greater visibility on scan results. **What do you dislike about HostedScan.com?** The downside of using a tool like HostedScan is that it uses open-source tooling and is thus, quite limited in its functionality. For quick scans, it is fine but for Enterprise use cases, it wouldn't be the best choice. **What problems is HostedScan.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I need a quick insight into the security posture of a domain I'm working on, I can run scans using HostedScan and get visibility into what areas need to be worked on to improve the overall security of the domain. ### 6. Everything from networks to servers and websites are scanned for security risks which is helpful. So is the dashboard piece. **What do you dislike about HostedScan.com?** The tool still feels a bit clunky and like it could use some UX updates to add a little bit more enhancement to it.
