What do you like best about Homebase?

What I like most about Homebase is that it brings payroll and time tracking together in a single platform. "Effortless Payroll and Scheduling Management"
What do you like best about Homebase?

I love how Homebase has significantly reduced my payroll processing time from about two or three hours to just twenty minutes. The setup was really easy, and the Homebase staff helped transfer our information from Paychex over, which was great. Everything I need for payroll is right there and easy to access, so I don't have to navigate all over the website to find things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Homebase?

When staff want to swap shifts or take the shift of another available person, I'm not able to see it when I first log in to Homebase. I go to the dashboard, and sometimes I don't see it there. What do you like best about Homebase?

I’ve been using Homebase for employee scheduling and time tracking, and it’s been very easy to work with. Creating and setting up shifts is straightforward, and I especially appreciate the mobile app because it makes communicating with the team quick and efficient.

That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved, such as more customization options in reports and the occasional lag with notifications.

What do you like best about Homebase?

That is a one stop shop for my employees. We used to have 3 systems, and my employees had to have a separate login to each to do what we now do all in Homebase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Homebase?

I would like to receive more alters when my staff clocks in late or clocks out outside of the Geofence. The little star next to the time sheet is easily missed. If out of the Geofence then it would be nice to send an alter to the manager that had to be approved.

Also, we have several servers, and it would be great if when they clock out it prompts them to enter tips. They are missing this step several times, and it makes more work for payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Homebase?

I like that its basic features are free which are enough for small business owners with limited employees and does not need to full features. Its free version has many features available to use and is very reasonable. Its paid versions are great for business as my business will grow. I have been using it since 2018 and have recommended it to many business owners that need time clock in, and scheduling. The team can view their own schedule make request for time off and more. the price for the full or advance features. What do you like best about Homebase?

There are so many features to Homebase. Scheduling, onboarding, timesheets and reporting. All very helpful in the operations and labor reporting of a business. Was easy to set up, and is easy to use but thorough. Pricing for it is also very competitive to other systems. We use it on a daily basis and it works for exactly what we need without major headaches. Also easy for the employees on their end of it as well. What do you dislike about Homebase?

Features will change randomly, therefore it sometimes takes a bit to reacclimate to the functions. Also, a minor issue but when going into the schedule tab, most times, it does not default to the week we are currently in. What do you like best about Homebase?

I like that I can see a week of a schedule in front of me and easily add or delete people on the schedule, making my life a lot easier. I'm not on text threads anymore asking people if they can work, and everyone can put their off days and schedule requests in. I enjoy the messaging system because it helps people not rely on their cell phones to communicate. Also, the initial setup of Homebase was super easy. The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t set a standard lunch-break time. I have to manually enter every employee’s lunch break. What do you like best about Homebase?

I really like how easy it is to schedule, change, and update the schedule with Homebase. It's one of my favorite features. I also love the feature that allows me to see who has read the messaging, which helps me communicate with my staff all at once and know who I need to talk to specifically. What do you dislike about Homebase?

I wish to see a better layout of scheduled time off. Once I have read a staff member's blurb on why they want a day off and which days, I have a difficult time retracing my steps and finding that information. The other thing I would really like to have as an added feature, this is something I saw in another scheduling app, is the ability to send out a weekly message every time I post the schedule. I found that extremely helpful to launch a schedule and then say, welcome this new team member, or don't forget this week, we're closing early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Homebase?

I do like the fact that Homebase is a growing application that meets my needs and standards. I enjoy how fast and easy it is to use when doing payroll. I also enjoy that they are updating features, such as creating polls and the ability to send videos and pictures through messaging. I appreciate that they take into account others' feedback. I find the AI professional tool very useful for guiding employees, and I love that the onboarding process is so easy. I appreciate the assistance offered in different types of realms. I like the payroll tools and the fact that they tell me who comes to work on time and who doesn’t, which is very dynamic. What do you dislike about Homebase?

I'd like for the scheduling features to have more effectiveness without having to change your views. I would like for the filters to remain the same when it comes to different view sorts. I really suggest that the reporting category all get up on the same type of wavelength, as I do have to go into several different tabs to get what I'm looking for when it comes to certain histories and cost of sales and savings throughout weekly reporting.
