Fantastic BI tool with semantic layer (like Looker). Dashboards as code. Really powerful dashboarding - AQL + Canvas dashboards + AI assistant provide outstanding, polished and meaningul results with deep analysis. Excellent and responsive support team. Integration with dbt. Integration with Google Sheets & Slack make it easy to bring into our workflows. 3rd party access/embedding of dashboards. Product is continuously evolving and adding features.

We’ve been using Holistics for a while now and overall, it’s been a great experience. We needed a BI platform that could handle drill-down analysis, offer a semantic layer for consistent metrics across different data sources, and give end-users more self-service capabilities. And so far, Holistics has checked all those boxes nicely.

What really stands out to me is the support. I’ve never had this kind of help from a BI vendor before. Most of the time, I get support from people who work on the product. They reply fast, they know what they’re doing, and they even suggest better ways of solving problems, or sometimes go ahead and fix things for me. That level of hands-on help is rare and super appreciated.

The platform is evolving fast. There’s a steady rollout of new features, and I’ve been especially excited about their AI chat and composable query language. Slight Learning Curve for Self-Service: There’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to setting up the data model, which means most of our team still leans on a central data builder for now. We haven’t fully tapped into the self-service potential just yet. Cost of the product compared to other competing tools is very good value.
