I was excited about it first, loved everything they said they would do, but now there is nothing to like. The product is not real, just marketing.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

We bought HockeyStack in January, and by April it was clear we were not getting the level of support, urgency, or ownership needed to make the platform work.

The biggest issue was basic data connectivity. We could not even get the core dashboards set up properly because our data was not connecting in a reliable way. For a platform that is supposed to help with attribution and revenue insights, that is a pretty fundamental problem.

Support also felt rushed. Customer calls were often booked in 15-minute slots and regularly ended with some version of, “sorry, I have to jump to my next call.” That made it hard to get real troubleshooting done, and even harder to feel like anyone owned the outcome.

After months of trying to make it work, we decided to cancel the contract. At that point, there was no interest at all in understanding why we were leaving or trying to keep us as a customer.

I understand the excitement around agentic AI and revenue agents. From our experience, it felt like the company was moving in that direction while the core attribution product and customer experience were not getting the attention they needed.

But none of that works if the basics are not there first.

Connect the data properly. Help customers build the dashboards they bought the platform for. Provide support that actually has time to solve the problem.

That did not happen for us.

**What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

I was HockeyStack's biggest internal advocate. Two years of championing the platform before finally getting buy-in. I wanted this to work. It didn't.
The core failure: they couldn't connect our data.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

The core failure: they couldn't connect our data. And this wasn't a complex data problem. Our systems are straightforward. 

What was more disappointing than the failure itself was the lack of effort in trying to fix it. 

Our demand gen, operations, and data teams made themselves fully available, Even with that level of cooperation on our end, HockeyStack couldn't answer basic questions or provide clear direction on next steps. 

For a platform at this price point, that's not acceptable.

Onboarding was lengthy and complicated which would be fine if it led somewhere. It didn't. 

With 90% of touch points requiring manual mapping, we were essentially building the integration ourselves. 

The support structure is visibly strained. Account managers are clearly overloaded, and support calls are booked in 15-minute back-to-back slots not exactly the white-glove experience you'd expect at this investment level.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are meant to solve multi touch attribution. They are now pivoting to agentic Ai / sales agent. It is not clear whether they will continue serving multi touch attribution, or switch completely. Either way, does not matter, both require a good data flow, and they failed at that.

**What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

The AI Agents are headed in the right direction. They're useful and well executed. And given the state of LLMs, I imagine they will outpace their competitors with what's already established. It's useful in it's current state.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

The platform has real potential, but there are some meaningful gaps that affect day-to-day usability. I write this review because the tool is good; but there are a few frustrations preventing it from being great. And I hope it can get there.

Support responsiveness is an area that needs improvement. I find responses tend to be slow, and don't always address the root issue, which compounds frustration when you're troubleshooting. For example, anyone can schedule a call with the data analyst team for support through the portal, which in theory seems great. But they are 15 minute increments and juggling too many customer queries. I wish we had a data analyst that was dedicated to our team so they could build context around our business and use cases overtime.

The Attribution view is central to why you'd adopt a tool like this, so its current limitations feel outsized. Combined with dashboards that lack depth and flexibility, it's hard to fully realize the value the product promises during the sales process from a BI flexibility standpoint. Understandably agents are the future; but some TLC for the BI visualization department would help this feel more enterprise ready.

Data reconciliation is another pain point. When numbers don't align with Salesforce or HubSpot, there's no self-serve query interface to investigate independently, and support doesn't always provide the clarity needed to diagnose the discrepancy. The only option is the report building UI, which is not intuitive. Democratize access to the data. Give a SQL interface and table access. 

In my mind the perfect AI + Marketing Analytics tool would look and feel like HEX for those familiar, but have point-solution functionality for the marketing intel world.  For example, open access to the underlying data, allow us to query own consolidated data without pumping it to a data lake for an upsell.  This way users continue to log into platform rather than BI tools. You get a tool like this and hope it's sufficient for markets to log in, self-serve, without worry about extra data engineering & BI resources. It's great you can put it into a data lake for an upsell; but why not make the platform the indisputable home base for all things B2B marketing analytics. Build a visualization layer that has more flexibility than elementary chart widgets whether you add more native functionality or open up to the user to leverage python to create our own charts. Then overlay agents overtop like you have today. I would not survive without a tool like that if it existed.

The product operates somewhat like a black box. The underlying logic for definitions and attribution rules isn't easily visible,  documentation is not always clear, which makes it difficult to audit results or understand gaps. 

Initial setup is also more involved than expected, and the lack of strong onboarding support makes the ramp-up steeper than it should be.

Overall, the product feels like it's still maturing. The bones are there, but the depth of functionality, transparency of the data model, and quality of support need to catch up with how it's being positioned in the market.

HockeyStack allows us to follow journeys in a more complex way than our previous method, which is especially valuable with paid ads to see how they influence our funnel. I appreciate its broad capabilities because it really can do so much. I also enjoy the dashboarding due to the nature of the customization.

Some of the setup is unnecessarily complex or confusing and there isn't a straightforward UI to guide you. Initial setup wasn't bad, but it took a while to get everything to match up accurately with our data.

Implementation support is aweful - we were all excited in install HockeyStack and after 2+ months of trying to get it to work, it didn't. The implementation team at HockeyStack really didn't care. Sometimes it took them a week or more to get back to us to answer a few simple questions.  We ended up cancelling our contract.

Nothing at the moment, we cancelled. Implementation support is terrible and frustrating. They cared very little about helping us implement HS.

**What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

What I like best about HockeyStack is that I was able to set everything up on my own with support from our CS rep. I didn’t need to involve our in-house data team and after learning the ropes, I’ve been able to continue building reports myself. I also really appreciate how easy it is to see all the touchpoints that lead to any KPI. It’s the kind of data I always knew existed but struggled to view in one place. The attribution modeling is also a standout feature and has already helped us make meaningful changes to our media mix. 

They regularly release feature updates and move quickly to remedy any bugs that may pop up.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

The learning curve can be steep at first. It takes some time to understand how everything connects and how to structure reports in a way that works for your team. That said, once you get the hang of it, it's incredibly powerful and flexible.

The product was live and fully integrated in under 2 weeks. From day one, we had real-time visibility into what was actually driving our pipeline. Odin AI is now part of our daily workflow—it gives us instant answers to business-critical questions without the usual back-and-forth across dashboards or spreadsheets. It’s fast, reliable, and actually works.

I'm actually pretty happy, no big issues. We went with Hockeystack because we believed they had the most streamlined platform, a great team, and a ton of automation that eliminates manual work - and they've consistently delivered on all fronts.

HockeyStack solved our biggest GTM challenge: understanding what’s actually driving results. **What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

Hockeystack helped us answer the age old question "what is marketing's performance". The measurement and reporting tool allowed us to successfully analyze the entire buyers journey and evaluate our impact on pipeline & revenue. Our team can now, with confidence, report on attribution with clean dashboards that my CMO frequently takes into his executive meetings.

After we configured the measurement and reporting we then adopted the Account Intelligence tool, which has opened up a whole new world of opportunities for my team. We now operate within much more intelligent workflows that, with the help of the Hockeystack AI scoring model, elevate the right companies to our sales team with leads that are engaged, aware, and in a buying cycle. It has allowed us to transcend chasing form fills and focus on what actually matters.

Customer support has always been excellent! Out of our entire tech stack, nobody has better service than Hockeystack!

At first I was concerned about how to configure and manage the product but once I started tinkering around I found out how easy it is to start building once you operate within it for a bit. And of course if there was anything I needed help with, Hockeystack was there for us.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

There has not been anything that I have disliked about Hockeystack. Honestly, it's been a really enjoyable experience and I genuinely am always excited about what they are going to do next.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hockeystack solves the need for complex marketing reporting. A CRM is very limited in how it can report on the performance of the marketing team. This is where Hockeystack shines. They illuminate what I call the dark part of the funnel, all the data that a CRM doesn't get. Now that we can quantify the success of our marketing campaigns before records are created in our CRM, we can now make more strategic decisions based on accurate data.

**What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

I've worked in marketing operations for over a decade, and attribution has always been a buzzword among marketing and sales leaders, and for good reason. Understanding what's actually driving pipeline is critical. But traditionally, leveling up beyond basic attribution meant cobbling together whatever you could from the limited models available in platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce, juggling conflicting data across your CRM, MAP, web analytics, and paid ad platforms... and still never feeling confident in your source of truth.

Enter HockeyStack. It seamlessly consolidates all those disparate data sources into one place and delivers insights that go far beyond what’s possible natively in your CRM. Even better: the platform strikes a rare balance of being digestible, highly customizable, and—most importantly—ACTIONABLE!  

Implementation was a breeze. Huge shoutout to Buğra, Aimee, and the rest of the team, who were always quick to hop on a call or point me to their insanely detailed documentation. Connecting all of our platforms (and we have a lot!) was incredibly simple, which meant less time spent on setup and more time getting immediate value out of the platform

One of my favorite features is the direct integration into Salesforce with an iFrame on the account object. Our sales team can see attribution insights without ever leaving the tool they live in.

Seriously...if you want to take attribution and your ABM efforts from clunky and vague to sharp and revenue-focused, you need HockeyStack.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

We have two business units inside of our Salesforce instance, so it took a little bit of time from the admin side just ensuring our data was only filtering in the right data. In the future, if I were starting implementation from scratch, I would have created a new integration user specific to HockeyStack that can only read the data we wanted to flow into the tool. Definitely not an issue with HockeyStack and more of a slight blocker we faced solely based on how our Salesforce instance is set up.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I've already covered: disparate data sources, poor native attribution in CRM, direct insights inside of Salesforce, actionable and user-friendly insights. But let's level this up a bit...

Time savings and efficiency is truly NEXT LEVEL. Before, it took days to wrangle data, clean up spreadsheets, reconcile conflicting data, etc. and now everything is in one place and the AI functionalities allow me to ask questions and get insights based on our own data. I' spend less time in the weeds and attribution is no longer a project but just a piece of my daily workflow, thanks to HockeyStack.

Velocity and pipeline insights!! Without clarity on what's accelerating deals or causing them to stall, we were missing out on some goldmines of opportunities. HockeyStack quickly flags those for us and helps clearly identify what's working and where we need to pivot.

Connecting our multiple platforms was easy and seamless, especially compared to tools used in the past that took weeks to integrate.

Technical and Customer Support
Support from HockeyStack has been amazing on both sides. They are quick to respond to inquiries and provide clear direction. HockeyStack has made several enhancements and upgrades to their platform based on our team’s feedback and input.

Consolidated Insights in one Platform
In the past, our team would span multiple tools to understand the insights and impact on the entire funnel. We are now able to see everything on one platform, both online and offline, and how they interact with our customers. HockeyStack has broken down silo’s and allowed the team to understand the full customer journey and the impacts on their functional areas.

Optimization of Marketing Programs
Due to insights we have never been able to generate easily, we are optimizing our marketing programs in real time. The attribution funnel and lift reports have helped us make meaningful changes to our Marketing channel and GTM tactics.

Odin AI
HockeyStack’s Odin has been a gamechanger for our team. As a team of one, Odin acts like an additional analyst for the team and can answer tactical day-to-day questions. Insights and recommended actions that would take days to generate are produced in minutes, allowing the greater flexibility to make adjustments quickly. This has opened up bandwidth to focus on strategic changes to our GTM strategy.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

The initial configuration and setup have a steep learning curve. You'll need a strong SME during initial configuration to build your properties correctly. We're now 6 months in and navigating the platform much quicker. I would like to see upgraded features to chart types and graphs. Still, compared to other attribution tools we have used in the past, HockeyStack is a major upgrade on visualizations.

**What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

HockeyStack's data model & interface allows builders in the tool to create countless helpful views for examining Marketing programs' performance and interactions with any CRM changes. It is incredibly helpful to have email, paid, and web data in one interface that can speak to CRM data. Before HockeyStack, it was quite cumbersome or impossible for our team to have views into questions such as "what paid social campaigns are driving demos that then receive BDR follow up" or "what email assets, via driving web visits, are influencing the most pipeline" - and especially for either of these questions "do we see that engagements of these types tend to have higher conversion rates to pipeline than users who visit our website in general, or does this pipeline have a higher likelihood to convert to qualified pipeline"? 

While HockeyStack is geared towards Marketing attribution use cases, I also find a lot of value out of using the tool for other Sales/CRM reporting use cases such as BDR activity reporting and sales play efficiency, just because HockeyStack is able to solve for many of the object limitations that make intra-SFDC reporting challenging.

I'll also note their customer support has been quite helpful in the year we've used them, I have all responses to my cases within 48 hours and many of them are quite complex.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

While HockeyStack's platform is genuinely "no-code", you will need an adept technical user to manage the backend and enable channel-owners for your team to get value. HS' onboarding process will have them directly help you set up your initial infrastructure for how you define concepts like "channels", "campaigns", "assets", etc. (how do we define these attributes unique to our organizations naming conventions and utm structures within ad platforms, MAP, etc.), but as business processes ever-evolve, you are going to need a technical manager who can learn how the backend of this tool works, and that will take time. You will also need this technical owner to be keyed into how your organization defines goals like meetings booked, pipeline generation, pipeline qualification, product ACV, etc. to ensure your HS reporting aligns with any CRM reporting. This is not a dislike from my end per say, as I get a lot of satisfaction from being able to answer many of our business questions in this tool, but this is an important flag to teams who think after initial setup they can leave this tool to channel owners. I have seen many features released in the year we've been on HS that is reducing the time it takes to see value for new customers however.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing channel,program, and asset attribution as it relates to answering "What Marketing efforts are working/not working to drive [X*]" - *New meeting generation, pipeline qualification, customer expansion opportunities, etc. - You name it.

We had been struggling with many other tools, but we were able to implement Hockeystack in one week and start getting insights from their AI chatbot.

Their support team is super invested in our success. I asked them some strategy questions, even outside of Hockeystack, and they have been very helpful. I feel like they are part of my team.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

The platform is like a spaceship; it can do so many different things. I think I've barely scratched the surface of its possible use cases.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HockeyStack is solving the problem of understanding campaign effectiveness and optimizing marketing spend. By using HockeyStack, I can now clearly see which of my campaigns are generating the most deals, allowing me to focus my resources on what's working best. It also highlights underperforming campaigns, giving me the insights I need to improve their strategy and ultimately increase their return on investment. This directly benefits me by maximizing the efficiency of my marketing efforts and driving more successful outcomes.

I was the technical point of contact in a hockeystack implementation and was expecting a lot of headache in installing a managed package in our salesforce, configuring the field mapping, making sure everything is validated and set up for use by our team based on my past experience with dreamdata. the implementation was self serve, all integrations go by pretty fast. i spent one afternoon standing it up and then the team was able to start using the out of the box dashboards.

This product lacks basic QA. Almost every member of my team has had sign on problems, the reports crash often, and it is generally an unstable platform. The docs are often incorrect. 

I have not found their support to be helpful. In early days they were responsive but now it takes at least a day to get a response and the information is usually wrong. It is also very unfriendly. I am often made to feel like these bugs are my fault.

We were told when we bought it we could be up and running in a month which was a pipe dream. We were barely up and running 2 months later. Four months later we are starting to be at the point where this is usable.

Hockeystack provides our team powerful insights that no other tool we have found can uncover. There are unlimited use cases for this tool; every team can find a way to utilize the data that comes from it.

Reporting that used to take me months in our CRM can take me less than an hour in Hockeystack due to their design on the backend with timestamping. It has been a gamechanger and life saver with our rapidly evolving board metrics.

When you go with Hockeystack, you're investing in not only the product, but the people too.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

Updating this section of my review due to the complete attention and care given from the Hockeystack team. This team truly cares about their product, reputation, and customers. Their customer support is up there with how our current CRM's used to be a few years ago (those who know, know).

Set up is a huge learning curve. Lily was amazing in helping us! But even if you get a great CSM, it took weeks for how things work to "click". If you are the one setting up the tool, be prepared to block off your calendar for at least a week to fully dive in.

Find an internal champion (or a few) to learn the ropes and teach/help others as the logic some reporting is not as intuitive as other BI tools or metrics platforms. There are reports that appear to be working, but if you're in doubt check with their support team as you may still have set it up incorrectly due to the advanced backend they have runnning.

As with every start up SAAS product, there are some bugs that need to be worked through, but Buğra and the rest of the team work over time to fix it all. Also, they are hiring more engineers every day and are rapidly working on improving the product.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our CRM we struggled reporting across objects and Hockeystack makes it way easier. Also, seeing journeys for one company in one place saves us tons of time because we don't need to flip from one place to another. Hockeystack also brings all of our data to one tool so we can see actions like LinkedIn Engagements, Google Ad Engagements, etc, way more than we could before.

Based on my experience with attribution systems, there were two choices:

	•	Hire a team of engineers to design, build, and implement a system (which will often be broken both intellectually and implementation-wise unless they are experienced in attribution systems).
	•	Or engage HockeyStack, who has obsessed over the B2B attribution problem for years, to implement a flexible attribution system in 4 weeks for a fraction of the cost.

The team was on top of things (Shirley & Buğra) and were super knowledgeable about both the product and B2B attribution; my speed was often the blocker on implementation, which was a refreshing experience!

I believe the choice is clear for anyone in the B2B space.

HockeyStack was a suprisingly quick implementation (our SFDC instance is a bit of a hot mess, so I fully expected it to take longer). 

Attribution modeling in the platform is simply fantastic, the platform allows marketers to showcase the value-add of marketing activity. The platform is simultaneously able to provide at a glance KPIs and deep insights into channel, activity and tactical performance.

The implementation and customer success teams are amazing. The core strength of HockeyStack is that their team is fully committed to successfully delivering value and it shows in every interaction you have. The leadership of the company is excellent, and they balance technical expertise with excellent communication and fast follow-up.

It took us a long time to pull the trigger on the tool, and we went back and forth on our own assumptions of timing. 

In hindsight, it was a waste of time as the tool was up in a couple of weeks, and we were building and delivering insights to the larger marketing team in  a month.

Over the years, I have had the pain of trying to get really good mixture of analytics and attribution when it comes to letting me know how much our marketing efforts are influencing and what impact its having. HockeyStack is the best for this to date and here is a few reasons why:

1 - HockeyStack, paints a much better strategic picture when it comes to understanding the impact of all our marketing efforts and it' connect to revenue. Not only does it help us understand what's working, it enables us to make quicker data driven decisions to scale quicker. 

2 - HockeyStack brings all our paid efforts in one place. The marketing performance tracking by the platform gives us a view of influence and lift beyond metrics provide by other data providers and delivers insights which we can confidently action on some.

3 - Strategic Support and Collaboration . For us, this is a huge benefit. Our company is looking to scale at an sustainable pace and having Hockeystack is almost as an extension of our marketing team, which has been great. They take our data and collaborative with all our team in achieving our marketing goals. Not many providers offer such.

4 - We have seen good value with the intent feature offered by HockeyStack when it comes to indentifing our traffic and mathcing them to our ICP. This has saved us from more tool bloat in this area and our revenue team is now enabled to grab this data and act on it. Understanding where a potential customer is in the buying journey allows our BDRs and AE's to personalize their approach and focus their efforts on those prospects most likely to convert. This increases sales efficiency and effectiveness that consequently impacts revenue growth.

Conclusion:

HockeyStack proves to be an essential tool if you seek to improve your marketing and sales effectiveness through insights compelled by data. With its ability in detailed attribution analysis, performance tracking, strategic support as well as intent tracking, it's quickly becomming our best friend at a marketing level.

Potential users should set aside time not only for the initial setup with the HockeyStack team but as well for carrying out an ongoing collaboration which will help scale efforts strategically. It is time-consuming, but one that can bring immense benefit to those prepared to invest the initial hours or so required.

One of the aspects of Hockeystack which I find somewhat of a dislike is the loading time for the reports. It provides priceless insights at the platform, though takes a little bit of time in generating reports and sometimes won't load at all. This causes certain delays to manifest during presentations, leaving room for awkward pauses and needs to be addressed. This is a small inconvenience compared to the overall benefits of the tool but this, definitely being an area, could be improved for user ease.

And it works even if your CRM data is messy. With Hockeystack, I can see everything from impressions on Linkedin all the way through to closed-won, and all of the interactions and touches inbetween.

It's so simple to install on your site and integrate with your marketing platforms. There have even been additional integrations that the team at Hockeystack has added when we've requested them. I use it everyday, and a lot of my strategy for ABM and growth in the upcoming year will be supported by Hockeystack.

Now it's all there in Hockeystack for me to review. And if I have a question, I can usually build a report to answer it.

B2B sales cycles can take time, so over the longer term HockeyStack provides a detailed history of a buyer and their company's engagement with our content, website etc. This allows us to validate our approach but also opens our eyes to places where people are being positively impacted during their journey that we're not focusing on.

No real dislikes. The 'template' dashboards created by other marketers could be more accessible - I'd love to be able to one-click replicate a dashboard with the ability to then tweak for our business/use case - I'm pretty sure this is on the roadmap.

Before HockeyStack we would rely on self-reported attribution and LinkedIn Ads analytics to show ROI on LinkedIn Ads. This was limited as we missed a lot of influence our ads investment was having. As far as multi-touch attribution software goes, HockeyStack is the best. Hands down. You have the ability to understand which channels are contributing to MQLs, SALs and actual closed/won opportunities. It's helped us understand where to put more budget, where to put less and how we might optimize channels that are underperforming. I especially like the lift reports that help us understand the impact a particular piece of content, or campaign or channel has on a prospect becoming a SQL or closed/won opportunity. It's amazing!

There's a steep learning curve here, for me at least. But, their support and customer success has given me the hand-holding I needed to get to a place where I'm proficient in the platform.

Hockeystack successfully aggregates data from a bunch of different systems (Hubspot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads etc) which enables you to build reports and metrics on basically anything related to marketing and sales performance. The onboarding is also stellar, a solution like this will always be a bit overwhelming to get started with, given the complexity of the problem you are trying to solve. But with the help of Hockeystacks CS team you never feel abandoned, they push progress on our defined timeline and hold us accountable for what we need to do. In 2 weeks we understood the impact of our marketing spend better and utilized this data to alter budgets, so to say we have received value in a short timeline is an understatement.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

I wouldn't buy Hockeystack and expect that it will solve all of your problems with little effort. Attribution is a tricky subject especially across 2+ data sources so it requires a person to invest some time to properly understand the tool, and how to use it for your specific business to get as much out of it as possible. With that said, when you have passed the initial step (understanding the product) then you will start to realize value very quickly by understanding your customers/prospects journeys better.

Connecting multiple sources like Ads, CRMs, and website into one reporting view is the core value. Key to us has been attribution on the contact and company level. Customer team has always been great to work with.

This is probably the app that requires the most troubleshooting in our tech stack. It's insanely powerful, but often gets slowed by how cumbersome it can be to use. Lack of any visual customization boggles my mind on a visualization tool.

Once reports and dashboards are set up, it makes checking in on our marketing metrics easy. We feel more in touch with our marketing KPIs because we are not just seeing them once a month. Everything is in one place.

The team is very receptive to feedback when things aren't working like we need/want. If they don't have a capability that we are looking for, they are willing to consider developing it. We have been given helpful advice for how we can improve our reports and the team is quick to respond when we are struggling to create a report.

The initial set up has a bit of a learning curve. It is very intuitive to view the reports when created, but does require some learning to set up.

It's a great analytics tool, me and my team use it for over 100 hours on a quarterly basis. It allowed us to get a better insight in a many areas, especially:
- website visitor tracking without relying on cookies - this is key since the change in cookie policy;
- user journey, from the 1st ad impression to closed-won deal
- Revenue and ROI Analysis to get a better understanding of what works and actually brings money and what doesn't. 

The support team is really responsive, and the setup is quite simple, and you can integrate with other systems in a few clicks.

Nothing, it's a perfect attribution solution. 
If I have any issue or request a new feature, the support and tech team are really responsive.

**What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

As a marketing team, we've always struggled with attribution. There was never a clear consensus on whether to do first touch or last touch, and none of our tools provided us with any other feasible options. We were also finding that other tools tended to have attribution bias.

HockeyStack has been a great solution to this problem. We can generate more in-depth reports than ever with their great integrations and excellent support. The level of insight that HockeyStack provides into visitor activity is unmatched in the market. This is all paired with a strong set of report-building and intent-scoring features. Our marketing team now has a great set of high-level metrics and easy-to-understand OKR tracking while also being able to dive deeper into journeys when needed.

HockeyStack has also helped our team by enabling us to generate and push leads more easily to our sales team and allowing them to dig deeper into a prospect's journey.

Though the technology is great, I actually think that it's their service that sets them apart. We can rely on their team to be responsive and have 1 on 1 conversations with us whenever we need it. They're also always happy to work with anyone on our team to get them up to speed. They're also quick to investigate data inconsistencies and are responsive to product feedback. They also have a really great onboarding program that focuses on educating their users to be effective with the platform, and they put a lot of time into building out dashboards that your team needs.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

I think the only downside to HockeyStack is that the product is quite complex and does take a bit of time to implement. There are a lot of nuances to the tool, and getting up to speed can take some time. Luckily, they walk you through it and are responsive when issues arise.

We have also had occasional performance issues, but these are typically quickly resolved.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HockeyStack has solved many of our attribution problems. It's been instrumental in using different attribution models to better understand how our channels are performing so that we can optimize them.

It has also taken a lot of the guesswork out of identifying users and defining their journeys so that we can provide better date to our sales team.

HockeyStack has also given us dashboards that make sharing marketing metrics and key takeaways with stakeholders very easy.

Tying pipeline and revenue to your marketing efforts has never been easier than with Hockeystack. This is a huge improvement from all the previous attribution platforms I worked with. I also appreciated the ease and speed of implementation, as well as the time the Hockeystack team invested in helping us build our dashboards and answering our questions.

I can't think of something I dislike about Hockeystack. Every time we reported missing functionality, the team already had it on their roadmap.

Before Hockeystack, I could track content marketing's impact on opportunities and revenue to an extent, but I knew I were significant gaps in our attribution model. For one, we were only tracking "first-source" content - and still not thoroughly capturing all the opportunities generated from content efforts.

With Hockeystack, I'm now able to track "first-source" content opportunities more accurately, track "content-touchpoints" for all content-influenced deals, and much more.

Hockeystack's "users" feed is especially useful for us, as many of our leads aren't accurately tracked in SFDC. With Hockeystack, I can simply search for a company's website domain or individual lead's email in its tracking tool, and it provides me with a detailed, holistic journey of each page and action a user has taken from first landing on our website, booking a demo, and going through our sales journey. This greatly improved our marketing team's ability to attribute sources to new opportunities and closed deals.

Additional pros of Hockeystack include: 

- It was simple to set up, with a single script in our website's header.
- Its dashboards and reports are easy to create.
- Its customer success and product teams are both responsive and helpful, creating us a Slack channel for all requests, using our feedback to prioritize product updates, and making sure we're getting value from the tool.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

Hockeystack is a new SaaS platform, which means it has little support documentation when setting up dashboards. I typically like to learn a new product through in-depth documentation and Youtube tutorials. However, I overcame this through the simplicity of Hockeystack's report and dashboard creation features and our helpful customer success manager.

**What do you like best about HockeyStack?**

Before HockeyStack, we struggled to do two things: figure out the best metrics to be tracking and to track them in a way that wasn't overly manual.

With HockeyStack, we were able to shed light on the dark funnel via hybrid attribution (both self-reported and software-based). We could also track all the relevant and vital metrics we see in Google Analytics but in a more unified way: the entire customer journey. The tool also enabled much more robust reporting on various aspects of our marketing efforts than HubSpot Reports, which we've found lacking. And HockeyStack took us out of manual Google Sheets and into easy-to-view dashboards that our executive team can use as well.

**What do you dislike about HockeyStack?**

There's a bit of a learning curve with some of the custom reports and dashboards, but the HockeyStack team is available via a shared Slack channel and regular CS calls, so it wasn't hard to get up to speed.

**What problems is HockeyStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were lacking in our reporting capabilities in terms of effectively analyzing our Self-Reported Attribution, figuring out the best metrics to track, supplementing our HubSpot reporting that we found lacking, and getting out of manual spreadsheets.
