**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

Hivebrite is a robust community platform that offers a comprehensive set of tools to strategize, develop, and manage a community effectively. The platform is designed with user-friendliness in mind, making adoption straightforward and intuitive. The user experience (UX) is exceptionally pleasing, ensuring that both administrators and members can navigate and utilize the features seamlessly.

One of the standout aspects of Hivebrite is its customer service (CS) team. They are, without a doubt, the best in the business. Whether I have a question about a feature, need to make a feature request, or simply require assistance, the Hivebrite team responds swiftly and efficiently. Their prompt and effective support is crucial, especially when time is of the essence. The team’s dedication to providing top-notch service is commendable and makes a significant difference in our overall experience with the platform.

In summary, Hivebrite not only delivers a powerful and user-friendly community management solution but also backs it up with an exceptional customer service team. Their commitment to ensuring user satisfaction and their ability to address issues quickly and effectively make Hivebrite a standout choice for community management.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Hivebrite is a powerful platform that accomplishes about 95% of what I need for effective community management. However, there are a few areas where I see room for improvement. One of my main desires is to have more flexibility to customize the user experience (UX) and interaction flow by allowing my development team to work more extensively on the platform. Greater customization options would enable us to tailor the platform more precisely to our specific needs.

Additionally, navigating the backend office can sometimes be challenging. While the interface is generally user-friendly, there are moments when finding certain features or managing specific tasks can become cumbersome. However, I am pleased to note that the Hivebrite team is actively working on improving this aspect. They have shown a commendable openness to accepting feature requests, addressing any issues that arise, and providing workaround solutions when the platform's current capabilities fall short.

Overall, while there are areas that could benefit from enhancements, Hivebrite's strengths significantly outweigh its weaknesses. The team's dedication to continuous improvement and their willingness to listen to user feedback give me confidence that these concerns will be addressed over time. Hivebrite remains an excellent choice for community management, and I look forward to seeing how the platform evolves to meet our needs even more effectively in the future.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

User-friendly and very customizable notification settings
User-friendly ease of searching for people in community, learning more about them, contacting them
User-friendly  posting and reading posts 
Admin panel is relatively easy to navigate and use 
The ability to have separate, very customizable groups 
The ability to attach files - e.g. photos to posts 
The ease of sending communications that push to email inboxes 
Very responsive support team
Very nice, vivid, and welcoming design - e.g. group cover photos

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

When we post in Hivebrite, we'd like the ability to have the subject line in email inboxes be customizable - e.g. Action Items for Environment Grant Round Meeting vs. "Jody Chang (Admin, Partner, Staff | SV2 | Chief Operating & Portfolio Officer) created a new post". The latter does is not user-friendly and sometimes people miss our emails because of this. 

Admin Panel User Profile field is messy with old info. fields (not able  to remove).

No way to search content in a group (the Live Feed just goes on and on)

When we add Leaders to Groups, their titles get cut off 

Enterprise Email Protect is an additional cost on top of contract cost.
Community Analytics is an additional cost on top of contract cost.

**What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting our Donor Partners with each other to get to know each other, learn together, and collaborate outside of our events and programs.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

Our association has been using Hivebrite for several years, and we are impressed by how the platform continues to improve on a monthly basis. We are very satisfied with both the product and the support. The platform is user-friendly, and if we ever have a question, it’s highly likely that the answer can be found in the extensive library of articles or the Q&A section. On the rare occasion that this isn’t the case, Hivebrite’s support team responds to our inquiries within hours.

The platform is versatile and can be used for many purposes. It’s an excellent tool for keeping your community informed and engaged.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

There is not much to say here. A view years ago we struggled with some functions that were not working in the way we liked them to work. Our focus is mainly on the mobile application. However, most of them exist today and are working properly.

**What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the platform we aim to make information about our community better accessable. Using the mobile application, our association members are always up-to-date about what we plan and offer. In the future, we try to communicate with our members only via the plattform. Currently, communication is still via e-mail.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

Hivebrite has been a key support in building our community of mobility entrepreneurs. Since the beginning of our journey in 2022, both the team and the platform have been incredibly helpful. The software continuously evolves with new features and improvements, while the team consistently provides immediate assistance. We genuinely feel well taken care of and highly value the relationship.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

At this moment, there’s nothing we can say we dislike about Hivebrite.

**What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From technical problems and questions about maximising the benefits they offer to customised support through our Custom Success Manager, Chelsea, who helps us materialise a strategy to sell our memberships, the support is comprehensive and the problems solved are various.

Very user friendly platform and Customer Succes Managers that really go the extra mile to make sure your online Community is tailored to your preferences and needs.

As they have been improving their services over the past years, this meant that some bugs crept in as well. But their Support team always responds in a quick and efficient manner to make sure that any hickups are quickly fixed.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

They are continually updating their offer at no additional charge. The platform keeps getting better and the offers they bring to you are always aligned with our orgainsation and what we would want out of an online community. The team at Hivebrite are all great to work with as well. At every different stage of the process we have found everyone to be incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

There are a few functionalities in the platform that are missing like having a poll option when you make a post or being able to post a pdf and an image together. Also having to use tags for each post to be able to make anything searchable.

**What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a membership organisation working with school trusts around the country. It allows us to connect colleagues together throughout the year who would normally not be able to do so. It enables us to support school leaders in their roles by creating a safe space for them to talk to colleagues.

System consolidations, new engagement opportunities for members and organizational scalability have been the main pros of Hivebrite. By centralizing multiple tools and systems into one platform, we’ve eliminated redundancies, saved time, and improved efficiency across our operations.

There are areas for improvement (org complexity, limited design templates, non-member management) but continued updates and regular customer success meetings help with these.

I like how open to feedback Hivebrite is. On the various different topically based zoom meetings the team always leaves room for product feedback.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Hivebrite does not integrate well with other softwares, so we still have to use seperate systems to acheive our baseline goal.

Hivebrite is allowing us to have an internal community where our various agencies can collobrate with one another and share resources.

Working with Hivebrite for nearly 5 years now, I have worked with 3 CSM's and the quality of the staff has been exceptional.  I am working with Erin and she has been outstanding in her support, ideas, enthusiasm and engagement in supporting me to make the most from the platform and with ideas on how to encourage use of the platform and engagement with members.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Not really a negative, but it would be good to see more UK based clients that can be connected with.

Providing a safe, secure space for our membership to engage with.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

Hivebrite is super customizable to our specific needs. We are able to ensure that we have the features we want to use, while avoiding the features that wouldn't be useful to us. It was fairly easy, albeit time consuming to set up our page, and our users seems to like it so far!

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Whenever you submit a ticket for an issue, the support team asks for a screen shot or screen recording of the issue. I understand why this is done, but there are some instances where the issue isn't easily replicated, and instead, you will have a five-email exchange with a support person before they even begin to look into the issue. It just feels like a massive waste of time.

Another shortcoming is that in the early stages of developing our page, our consultant was based in another time zone. Our consultant now is based in the US, but it made it very hard to schedule meetings and check ins with someone who was six hours ahead of us. We only had a window of 2-3 hours of the business day to meet.

It allows our alumni to interact with each other without our department acting as an intermediary.

Hivebrite has been very easy to use and the support we have received from Hivebrite has been amazing! They have really held our hands every step of the way.

There is nothing I dislike about Hivebrite. It was exactly what we needed.

We are a Bible College and we needed a way to keep our Alumni connected to the school and to each other. Hivebrite has provided that place for us on our Alumni Portal.

They became my partners in the community management venture. The team's vast expertise helped me find creative solutions to implement, launch and engage within the community platform. Hivebrite is not just a platform, they get invested into your success, they have their Growth service dedicated to exactly that: success. 

I use platforms, I created communities, I have a vast knowledge of what is on the market. if you want truthfuly a customizable platform to fit your exact needs, Hivebrite is IT.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Sometimes all the features they offer (and I mean they offer all) can become a bit overwhelming for a community manager. This was a bit challenging for me, not necessarily a bad thing.

From a clear structure, to all collaboration tools available, monetization and reporting; it gives me a complete solution for community building and management.

I evaluated over 10 platforms and Hivebrite had all of the features that I needed to launch my project.  It was super easy to get up and running and the customer support is off the charts.

I can't find any issues with the platform.

Hivebrite allows me to create a marketplace brining our content together with students in need of a "co-pilot" to help them along their career journey.

The pasyment collections internationally are a diffecult process which is hard to set up

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

I like that we have a CSM assigned to us that is vested in our success. The support team is very timely in their responses as well. The product team has requesed time with me a few times to discover our pain points and how they could improve our experience in future developments. The platform is pretty easy to use and they have a knowledge base to provide more information on the features.

Data analytics in the form of dashboards on all of our data to be able to spot trends and make better business decisions.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

I enjoy having a team focused on the tecnhical side of building our Community, so that our team can focus on building contenta and value. We went with Hivebrite in order to get a variety of features in one package including an app, social media-like networking, etc, without having to custom build ourselves. 

I've also enjoyed the our support team in trouble shooting, brainstorming solutions, and sharing best practice (shoutout to Fatimeh and Jake)  as well as the community of Hivebrite creators for idea and resource sharing.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

I'm hoping to see better native analytics and tracking to inform us on what resources are being best consumed by our members, interactions and completion of courses and resources, gamification from these activities to encourage engagement. Additionally, I'd like to see options tailored to a corporate or group subscription, including those analytics for a company for example and company administrator.

**What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously had a custom-built platform that was constantly taking our time, attention, and dollars to update and maintain. We were excited to have one place to go to keep our platform updated and in check, without spending our time on all the technical deveopment.

Hivebrite is easy to handle and comes with a lot of functions. The service is excellent as we always get inmediate help as soon, as we have questions or other issues. But what i particularly appreciate is that hivebrite keeps on improving their tool all the time listening to customers needs and launching improvements regulary.

In some functions I would like to see more options for customization.

We love how incredible our Customer Success Manager is! They go above and beyond to help us get the best from the platform and offer innovative ideas on a regular basis to help engage our members and create success in our community.

There are limits to what the platform can do compared with what we would like it to be able to do sometimes. This is where having an excellent Customer Success Manager really makes a difference by helping us with creative workarounds and solutions.

Being able to create a network of circular economy enthusiasts and to form a "coalition of the willing" via the community enables Planet Ark's Australian Circular Economy Hub to facilitate collaboration and action-taking in order to fast-track the transition towards a more circular economy in Australia.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

Hivebrite has been a journey with us... We joined Hivebrite in 2017/ 2018; seeing them grow has been a pleasure.  What I most like about Hivebrite is the support we receive from our customer success manager.  Chelsea provides insights like no other.  Her experience in alumni relations/ higher education simultaneously enhances our strategy and platform.  We are not only challenged by her out-of-the-box thinking but, in return, provide insights to the development team at Hivebrite that they definitely consider.  Being heard is very appreciative, especially when it comes to the current and future roadmaps.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Design features have improved. However, some new templates for pages and email campaigns could be incorporated further.  Stripe fees remain a bit high, but due to the current inflation, this perhaps can not be avoided from Hivebrite's end.   We had high hopes of the mentoirng feature being developed at a faster pace, however updates are given on the regular and fingers are crossed that the feature will be up and running by this fall.

Often Hivebrite assists us with tech issues, but the overall brunt of our collaboration is strategy and how to increase engagement from our alumni on the platform.  In addition, they also help us integrate new techniques and benchmarking from other clients that have been successful.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

Building an online network with an app is expensive and tough. I’m fortunate to have been pointed to Hivebrite! Getting my MVP up and running was quick, easy, and way cheaper than building the software with developers. The customer service and management are exceptional. I feel like they are a part of my company in supporting the growth of my community. I had always thought I’d build my own software after the network was established. But with all the great enhancements that Hivebrite continues to come out with, I’m staying with them!

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

My biggest complaint falls more on the user experience side, but it directed more towards the actual member. People complain of having to go to multiple medias (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn). RPhAlly is just one more place to go. I actually had a member tell me how awesome RPhAlly is but still going to go to LinkedIn because that is where most of her contacts are!

The pharmacy industry is siloed and scattered. The professionals are pinned down by ginormous corporations and the professional associations have not been able to unify the profession. Hivebrite gave me a great way to start building a community where we can all come together.

- Very structured & well-designed process from sales to implementation to product launch
- Amazing customer success team who is always there for us (special shout out to Dhia)
- Amazing expertise in community building with regular webinars and special experts available (special shout out to Morgan)
- I had the opportunity to attend an event for Hivebrite clients. It was a tremendous value add to meet likeminded professionals and exchange ideas
- Through the process, I've met at least 10-12 people who work at Hivebrite and almost all of them were super professional, high energy and inspiring. I really feel that these are people who can figure anything out and make it a success!

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

1. The backend is a little hard to get your head around. But our CSM is very supportive, so I'm sure I will be an expert in no time. 
2. I don't love our design (i.e. what the users see and experience) and I feel this was one area where we did not receive enough support pre-launch (although I started working mid-way through, so maybe this was simply lost in the handover process on our side). 
3. We were quoted 4,000EUR / hour to work with the Hivebrite designers, which still makes me giggle ;) The good news is that since Dhia from the customer success team started working with us, we have some 'best practice' designs to work off and are making use of our company's in-house UX designers to take it to the next level.

We (JA Worldwide) chose Hivebrite for our global alumni community because it offers a “one-stop-shop" for community engagement and building. The option for all our local alumni chapters (JA operates in more than 115 locations globally) to customize their group, the user experience, and how they interact with their local members is unmatched. We additionally like the fact that Hivebrite develops new features all the time, which benefit our community. The most used parts are the built-in email campaigning tool and complete event management feature. We highly recommend Hivebrite to many of our partners.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

I don’t think that any platform (if it’s a provider or a custom-built platform) can ever fulfill all requests of a community. The world is evolving very fast and so are the communities. Here's where Hivebrite offers already A LOT of features, new additions, etc., especially compared to other providers on the market and for our needs.

With Hivebrite, JA alumni from all over the world can easily connect and stay in touch, no matter where they are. This platform allows us to share experiences, knowledge, and opportunities, and to support our alumni in their personal and professional growth. It also provides a space for us to organize events, discussions, and initiatives that are meaningful to us, and to collaborate on projects that address important global issues.

Hivebrite's interface and search capabilities make it easy for alumni to find others with similar interests, skills, and backgrounds. Alumni can create detailed profiles on the platform, highlighting their experiences and areas of expertise, which can help them attract potential partners, and business collaborators who are looking for someone with their particular skills or knowledge.

Through Hivebrite, the global JA alumni community has become more connected and engaged, and we have been able to leverage our collective expertise and resources to create real change in the world. The customer service we've received during the development of our Network has been first class. Onboarding was well-managed and thorough and our account manager and the support team have been responsive and diligent in helping us solve any problems. They're also lovely people to deal with.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

This is a complex system and overall it does the job effectively. But I find it quite glitchy - problems are rarely business critical but small issues get in the way of efficient day to day admin and some of the UX is just a bit odd.

We needed a secure platform to host a global alumni community which will grow fast and hopefully reach upwards of 5000 members. Specifically we needed to be able to share commercially sensitive content with robust access rights as well as hosting discussions, events and articles.

I understand there needs to be a business case vs. a one off, but most of our concerns seem to be shared with other users based on conversations on the community.

We love the map view, allowing members to see where other members are located. In a B2B community, this means their office address, and it's very helpful for members to understand the geographic makeup of our community.

We feel the WYSIWYG editor for the news and events pages is underdeveloped for a modern platform. The changes needed are not huge lifts, but we understand that there are other priorities.

Hivebrite has helped our members understand that they don't exist in siloed lanes, isolated from one another, but that they are an interconnected web, with much value to bring and gain through participation. Hivebrite has allowed engagement, collaboration and communication on a global forum. As the community manager I have been provided with amazing continuous support wtih everyone of my questions being answered within hours or days. 
I like that you can customise the platform to suit your own needs and make changes as your community and their needs grow. New updates from Hivebrite are always coming through and this continuously improves the platform and makes it engaging for the members.

I still find the forums a bit clunky
I wish there was a way to have events readvertised at certain times in livefeed (automically) 
It would be great to be able to upload a video to the mentoring profiles so mentors could describe themselves through a video.

Our account rep is by far, the most receptive to our requests and needs. Whenever I have needed her, she was ready with resources and/or additional training.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

It can sometimes be difficult to get users to activate their accounts. This is not a true dislike of Hivebrite as any platform would have this same problem, but it would be nice to be able to add users and them not have to go through an activation process where we potentially lose steam for community engagement.

There are several areas in that Hivebrite is taking our requests and moving them to actionable items for their development team. Fingers crossed that these requests make it out soon!

Hivebrite makes it extremely easy for our alumni to connect with one another as well as connecting back to our school. The intuitive interface is easy to use and very impactful. Using Hivebrite has also had a tremendous impact on our alumni engagement team. Like many alumni offices we have a small team and somewhat limited resources and using a tool like Hive Brite saves us time and lets us do more even though our resources are limited. The service and support team are truly partners with us and they've worked very hard to understand our team our business and how our school operates. They've been tremendous to work with and I highly recommend the product the service and their team.

Like any new software there was definitely a learning curve.

We use Hivebrite for our military network - connecting veterans to their old units and to each other.  It is both an enjoyable tool and a vital one where mental health is concerned - we use the network to dispense charity digitally and as an early warning system for those in real need.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

It has improved dramatically in the five years we have used it.  The mobile app is sometimes glitchy and occasionally we have issues posting to the walls.

Hivebrite allows our community to connect, when many of our veterans feel isolated and with Defence Cuts, there are fewer physical places to go locally for them.

The platform is complicated to use as a first-timer. 
The set-up process is long and takes time.
The features available are limited, with little or no room for customisation.
The platform has no phone contacts for any of their customer service team, which is frustrating, especially when you require urgent help.
No dedicated customer service person.
Tracking of community users usage patterns is very limited.

We have created a community platform that has allowed us to have an online resource centre for our community.  However, due to the platform's complexity, our community members have not been able to engage as much as we would have liked them to.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

The platform is in Spanish, it is very easy to use, it allows sharing the most relevant information with the community. The support provided by the account executive is good and timely.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Being a generic platform, it does not allow the customization of certain sections according to the client's needs.

**What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connect a network of beneficiaries of our program who are located around the world and from different generations. They can connect with each other without having to go through COLFUTURO as an intermediary.

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

It's a good alternative to Facebook, without all the adverts and bloat. Very easy to use and low maintenance. We've been using it since 2017 with success. Have seen many upgrades and improvements over the years.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

None that I can think of. The product has improved a lot since when we first purchased it.

We finally have an online community that is easy to use. So we don't need to use Facebook

**What do you like best about Hivebrite?**

The helpful and friendly nature of the support staff, especially Jake, our rep. He is reliable with his emails and calls and is always on task with improving the overall functionality and adaptability of our members' user experience.

**What do you dislike about Hivebrite?**

Sometimes the user experience is delayed by the loading speed of the platform, which affects our members' user experience. Also, we have experienced some difficulty with fixing a Facebook feature request, though Hivebrite has been responsive and concerned.

**What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hivebrite has been effective with its responsiveness and efficiency regarding several feature requests with our member user experience and beginning the design and implementation of a landing page and welcome back lobby.

The platform is ever evolving. It has a colorful, modern look and feel.

Updates tend not to be consistent across the whole product. More flexibility to apply settings and permissions at a group level.

Hivebrite provides a more modern look and feel for our Alumni clubs and groups. It also provides a more streamlined simple event creation method.
