I had an extremely disappointing experience with HireRight. They seem to exert no effort in verifying credentials with former employers. All of my previous employer HR teams are very responsive, as evidenced by the email threads I had with all of them. I was able to request and receive any document needed within less than 24 hours, even from employers I worked for over 5 years ago.
I submitted literally EVERYTHING that HireRight asked for, yet they rejected EVERY document provided by my previous employers, claiming they were not valid. This is baffling, considering these were the exact documents requested by HireRight. Without even attempting to call or email my former employers to verify the documents, they were all tagged as invalid.
Additionally, the notification feature for updates does not work, even when properly set. I received no updates throughout the process, which added to the frustration. This level of negligence is unacceptable and unprofessional. I cannot recommend their services to anyone in need of accurate and reliable background verification. They provide a thorough and complete review of the requested information regarding background checks. Easy to use. Customer Support is able to assit when there was an issue that needed to be discussed in order to reach solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it can take longer than anticipated for the report to be completed in full however that is due to a delay in the courts responding not the fault of HIRERIGHT Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a lot of user effort for each part, I have to print and sign lots of documents. I have provided full copies which got rejected because I should remove my salary, that's the least they could do. When I have an offer latter, and then next contract half a year later, how is this not enough to cover the initial period. I simply do not have most of these documents, but even the ones I was sure were enough are not.

HireRight's website is functional, easy to use, and up-to-date for a simple user experience. The provider is quick to respond to our needs, has a wide partnership network, and is knowledgeable about the transportation industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally, results can take a long time to receive from the lab. In addition, the after-hours services can be hit or miss. Most of the time we use this service, they are not able to serve our locations in a timely manner, so we have to end up using the emergency room or urgent care which is expensive.
