For me, the whole purpose of the tool, and where it adds value, is in engagement.

Engagement with candidates, clients, and peers. The key is "adds" value, not replace or reinvent. We as recruiters, need to engage in communication with people, and this adds an additional different method the traditional call, email, and LinkedIn approach. What do you like best about Hinterview?

Our contact person, Freddie, has been there for us every step of the way. He consistently went above and beyond our expectations to make sure that we were getting the most out of the platform. The training was very high quality, and he was clearly an expert in his field.

"Game Changer"

What do you like best about Hinterview?

More than a novelty; video-intros (Hintros) and video interviewing technology has had a meteoric rise, especially in 2020 with the lack of face to face meetings, interviews, conferences and so on. The Hinterview technology has had a significant impact in engaging and attracting more candidates to our projects. The additional response rate has been impressive, and candidates have replied and engaged quicker as a result.

We also send updates to some clients via video now too - this has been very well-received.

The Hinterview facility is also great for global projects where you cannot easily get out to first stage meetings in person. Clients have welcome this approach, and the facilities you can use to give clients access to projects, reviewing candidates and making the selection process even more interactive is impressive. What do you dislike about Hinterview?

Getting our team to record their own videos took some encouragement at first, as many people are shy or lack the confidence of seeing themselves on screen and sharing the content with a wide audience. Once they posted a couple and saw the response, they have become more confident and willing to include this facility as part of our standard engagement process. Recommendations to others considering Hinterview:

I was not sure about the effectiveness of video tech for attracting business and engaging talent, but my opinion quickly changed to knowing that this is something we need in our business. The feedback has been nothing but positive, and we have seen a notable increase in responses from both clients and talent. I would certainly recommend Hinterview not only for the product, but also for the service. The support team are fantastic; always on time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. What do you like best about Hinterview?

The product itself is great, easy to use and a variety of different functions depending on what you are looking to do with it. What sets Hinterview apart is the calibre of their staff. From Lucy's initial introductory message (via video obviously) through to working with Molly (Customer Experience Manager) I couldn't have been happier. What do you like best about Hinterview?

I am always looking for creative ways to help recruiters and sourcers with their work and get the best talent for our client. Hinterview offers just that as it helps the talent acquisition team in creating videos describing our client and the jobs offered. The tool is amazing as you can send out customized video messages to passive talent and explain what the job is all about.
