**What do you like best about Hint Health?**

I use Hint Health as the backbone of our Direct Primary Care practice at Elevated Health, and I love it for its streamlined platform that manages memberships, billing, patient communication, and day-to-day operations. I appreciate how everything is built specifically for the Direct Primary Care model, giving us a simple, all-in-one system. The automation of recurring memberships is a huge time-saver, ensuring consistent billing without manual oversight. I also really value the ability to easily track visit usage and the flexibility to customize membership tiers, set visit limits, and manage access. These features keep everything organized and predictable, making it intuitive and reliable, which helps our team stay efficient and consistent. Hint Health allows us to focus more on patient relationships by spending less time on administrative work, making our operations smoother for both our team and our patients.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

One area that could be improved is reporting and analytics. While Hint provides the core data we need, having more advanced, customizable reporting options would be helpful as we continue to grow and track performance more closely at Elevated Health. There are also a few workflows that still require some manual steps or workarounds depending on how you structure your memberships, so continued improvements in automation and flexibility would add even more value.

**What do you like best about Hint Health?**

I use Hint Health for Hint Core and Hint Clinical, and I find the interface simple, which makes member management and collecting memberships very easy. I love being part of an innovative community that's constantly making updates and advancing the cause of direct primary care. They support me in exactly the ways I need as a solo DPC startup. I feel listened to, and the developers really pay attention to community feedback, which makes me feel heard and empowered. There's little wasted time, and the focus is on patient care and the patient experience. The initial setup was very easy, especially with the boot camp.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

Having to manually download and upload things to get them out of Hint Health is a little bit onerous and seems like a waste of time. I would also like a secure way to be able to embed patient photos so that they never land on my personal phone photo album.

**What do you like best about Hint Health?**

As a brand new user of Hint Health, I'm really impressed with the support team; they've been phenomenal with follow-ups and I've never waited more than 24 hours for a response, often it's even less than 12 hours. The community partnership is great too, especially with chain integrations and clinics offering their insights. I love using Hint Health for an all-in-one system that combines both billing and clinical features. The marketplace addition has been really successful for finding testing options like flu and COVID tests. Also, the ease of sending single invoices for patients is something I've liked. The onboarding has been really easy, especially with the boot camp and courses that are nicely laid out.

**What do you like best about Hint Health?**

I use Hint Health as an EMR for my direct primary care practice. I appreciate that it provides a unified platform that does everything I need it to do. What I like most is the community built around it, which is supportive and inspiring. The customer service is excellent and quick to respond. As a new physician in DPC, Hint Health opened the door to mentorship and collegiality that would have otherwise been very hard to come by on my own. Constant improvements have brought new functionality in the short time I’ve been using it. Plus, the initial setup was a piece of cake!

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

I would like to see integration with Precision Analytical, makers of the Dutch test, which is a useful problem solver in the hormone replacement therapy aspect of my practice.

**What problems is Hint Health solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hint Health as an EMR for my private practice. It offers a unified platform that meets all my needs, facilitating mentorship and collegiality with its supportive community.

**What do you like best about Hint Health?**

I use Hint Health as both our medical record and billing management software, which is basically the core of our business. It helps ensure I can take care of patients and that our business runs smoothly. I love how it makes billing super easy on a monthly basis, especially since most medical records aren't set up for membership billing. My favorite thing is working directly with the team at Hint Health because they're invested in my success, just as much as I am. They listen to feedback and adapt the product over time to meet changing needs. Specifically, I like that AI can take my notes and adapt them to my template preferences. The search feature in the notes is very valuable, allowing me to find things quickly when I need to look back. For the most part, Hint Health works really well on the mobile app as well. We switched from DrChrono and would never switch back. We love Hint. The initial setup was easy, and for the parts that were difficult, they walked us through it every step of the way. Overall, it integrates well with PractOS, doing a good job of getting all patients automatically into the system and minimizing turnover.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

I find that the session refresh time is shorter than it should be. I often will close the lid on my computer to move to another room and find that I get refreshed out of Hint Clinical into Hint Core. Also, I think the AI is a little bit behind when compared to the AI used on open evidence for example, at note-taking. The integration with PractOS isn't as strong as I would like it to be. I really wish that the text messages we receive from patients in PractOS would flow back into the Hint communication.  That said, whenever I bring up bugs in the system or things that I struggle with, the Hint team finds ways to modify the software over the course of weeks to months, and all of my major concerns have been addressed

Hint Health is essential for our business, managing medical records and billing. It simplifies billing patients monthly for memberships, ensuring smooth operations and patient care.

I use Hint Health for EMR, billing, and the patient interface. The AI scribe saves me precious time with my family. I like the upcoming app, task list, and marketplace. The task list keeps me on track, the app adds convenience when using the AI scribe, and the marketplace allows me to see who else I can connect with.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

The app not being compatible with Android. It's inconvenient because I have a Pixel Google dominated device. I also had trouble with onboarding.

I like Hint Health because it's simple to use; I can easily track payments and manage patients. It's helpful for managing memberships and seeing expected income. I also appreciate being able to add new services and that I can see outstanding payments, memberships, monthly income, and expected income, which helps me see we're growing. The initial setup was easy, and I felt like Hint Health could handle most of our needs. I like the simplicity and I'm likely to recommend it, rating it a 10.

There’s not a good way to send in patient referrals or other tests such as CT, MRI, or even X-rays.

I like the billing and filtering features of Hint Health, which help me manage patient information effectively. The EHR system is not bad, and I find it very good for allowing me to create templates. These features save me time, which is important because time is money and it allows for more family time. The initial setup of Hint Health was good, and overall, I'm very likely to recommend it to others.

Using it mobile is horrible. Very clunky on a web base. We need an APP for EHR.

I find Hint Health very beneficial for my direct primary care practice, particularly in making billing easy. I really like the medical record feature, which is great and improving rapidly. I appreciate that they're investing in the DPC community and are helping transform healthcare by enabling independent DPCs to succeed. The initial setup was easy, thanks to their boot camp and published tutorials. I use their all-in-one product and I'm pleased with it, and their willingness to take feedback and improve on clunky aspects is something I value.

I like how Hint Health helps keep everything in one place, making life easy for a solo provider practice. I honestly enjoy its ease of use because I don't want too many complications in technology. The billing system is also a plus for me, especially with how customizable it is. Setting different prices for different groups is so easy.

I wish there was a bundle for all marketplace features instead of individual add ons. Like bundle prices for junction and bookkeeping features and so forth.

Hint is an amazing all-in-one solution for private-pay, membership-based practices that takes the guesswork out of the backend business side of medicine. As an independent consultant who supports practices in launching or converting their practice, I require all my clients to use Hint.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

There isn’t much they aren’t already addressing. The main area I’d still like to see improvement is making the platform more user-friendly for the patient, which I understand is already on their product roadmap.

It makes it possible to manage member billing and the rules around membership without needing a ton of human effort. The clinical platform is continuing to evolve

**What do you like best about Hint Health?**

It is affordable and the team seems to be committed to improving the process.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

They miss implementing some very basic things that are fundamental for clinical care service. For instance they have no notification system, no alert system that would let a clinician know when a lab has resulted or a fax has arrived or a med refill request has come. So you constantly have to scour the EMR looking for these incidentals. When you have a micro practice (which is what most direct primary care practices are), you are looking for an efficient work flow and not for steps that add to your workload. Besides in an age where we are begging for all kinds of notifications to be turned off, how is it possible that we are asking for one notification that is critical for efficient patient care and we can't get it??

Another source of inefficient work flow they just seem to refuse to improve is their phone system. They give you a phone number that works via the VOIP system that allows all calls to be logged in the EMR which is great but the system is poorly designed so that if you miss a call, you literally have to sign in the EMR in order to call back the person (usually a patient) whom you missed, moreover during the call  you have no way of knowing who is calling you, so basically you have no clue which calls you would need to call back right away which could wait- you have to log in the EMR to see any call. Once again, this time consuming and inefficient work flow just persists despite request to change it. 

The final straw for my practice is when the number they gave us got spoofed and we asked or help. First it took several back and forth before people understood the issue we were having and then instead of working with their carrier Twilio to set up a protection for our number (the phone service carrier is the only one who can intervene in this situation), they just told us to block spam callers!!!. When someone or a group takes a hold of your number and spams others using your number, (which by the way we learned,  is more common with VOIPS),  it has the potential to damage a business' or individual's reputation, in addition to being time consuming and frustrating to deal with. They just didn't seem to get the gravity of the problem. It was time consuming, and frustrating trying to deal with frustrated people we never called who call back saying they were returning our calls. 

I think the EMR has the potential to be a good even a great EMR as they continue to build it and especially if they listen and work on improving work flow but currently their lack of insight into the  need to make work flows for providers efficient is a huge deficit and dampens anything good they may have up their sleeves.

In 2015 at a DPC conference in Dallas, Zak introduced me to a product that I thought wouldn’t go anywhere. But within 8 months, I was a user and have been ever since.

Its easy, it makes our processes way better, more efficient and faster. Patients are happy and our staff too. Billing automation is a great feature that make us save time and money. Also, its easy to implement. That is such a 10/10.

There is no way to handle the number of affiliates and patients we have without HINT. Easy. It helps us with organization, coordination and order.

**What do you like best about Hint Health?**

When I began to imagine opening my own business, I could've never foreseen how difficult it is to maintain the billing and collection flowing in order for my business to take off the ground. Hint Health is an indispensable part of business. Their system is very simple to use, even for someone that does not have great computer skills. The staff is very responsive. If you have any difficulty, all you have to do is send a message through the system and someone is  in touch with you within minutes. They have great tutorials that sometimes can solve things even after hours. Their services are very  affordable.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

The only downside I have found in the system is that the enrollment forms are only in English, and I have many non-English patients.

**What problems is Hint Health solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enroll, Bill and collection. Very easy to get paid, easy to see which accounts are defaulting, seamless communication with my EHR

Customer service/support is so good. They respond quickly and if not addressed they will hop on video call to explain further. I love that they are constantly looking to make it a little better. Each day and each month goes by they try to improve. They are transparent and honest with what they are trying to do.

**What do you dislike about Hint Health?**

I really don't have much to complain about with HINT I want some of the integrated partnerships to improve but I know that's a constant work in progress.

**What problems is Hint Health solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The faxes were such a big problem and they were wonderful about working on it and very open about giving updates on it. I also really do not like documenting. I have enjoyed practicing with the AI copilot product as it has eased my burden of documentation.

Simple to use. Fairly intuitive. You can have an open note as you browse other parts of the EHR. Customizable. You can decide what to include in the social history, general information sections, etc. It is still a fairly new EHR and they are creating new features all the time based on user feedback. Responsive customer service.

Becuase it is new there are still some bugs and awkward areas. The prescription software is a little clunky.

They allow patients to self-schedule, reducing the amount of hands-on work I have to do. They make documentation easy by pulling in email and text message conversations with the patient.

In the beginning, there were features we wanted that were unavailable at the time but the support team was helpful and took our suggestions.

We're able to set up multiple subscription types and set up forms that are automatically sent for review and signature upon joining.

Great for starting out small, able to set billing preferences, coupons/discounts quite easily and have non-technical team members get involved in the back end with minimal training.

Great for smaller teams, but definitely clunky as you begin to scale up.

If you're a smaller team with basic requirements - then it's probably a good solution. If you have a complicated billing structure, something else might be a better bet!
